As she leaves, Clinton
sounds warning over Syria

Associated Press, by Bradley Klapper

Washington - Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton issued a parting warning Thursday about Syria´s civil war, accusing Iran of playing an increasingly prominent role in directing the violence, which she said heightened the danger of a larger regional conflict that draws in Israel or other neighbors. "I´ve done what was possible to do," Clinton told reporters on the eve of her last day as secretary of state. But she painted a harrowing picture of a war that could still get worse. "The worst kind of predictions about what could happen internally and spilling over the borders of Syria

She will disappear and hopes to re- emerge as a virginal figure just in time for the ´16 race.
Not only has she never answered for the various and sundry Clinton era scandals that she either orchestrated or tried to cover-up, she has not even come close to explaining the Benghazi cover-up. Republicans let this vapid, corrupt and incompetent cow off the hook at their own peril.....and the peril of the nation.

While the U.S. was bombing khaddafi´s libya to the tune of 800 million dollars, hillary was saying that Assad was a reformer. And while she was saying that, Assad was killing his people.
She is as big a fraud as the president. They seem to believe that they can say anything, regardless of the facts, and get away with it.
They are right, so far.

She knows exactly what she left John Kerry. Its a powder keg rigged not to fully explode until after her departure. She will claim she tried to warn him. She will look good compared to Kerry to the low info voters. Will the MSM carry her water or Obamas. If he doesn´t go for a third term they will start taking her side in prep for her run in 2016. Or maybe I have finally gone round the bend.

There was no reason for her to butt heads with Putin over Syria. We should have worked together early on to put a stop to the killing. Instead we have a mess. A mess that could lead to something horrific. The woman´s a disgrace.

This woman wakes up every day with a tattoo of the Oval Office stamped on her forehead. It´s pure obsessive, compulsive disorder. All she did for the past 4 years is contribute to climate change flying planes all over the world, giving foreign aid to countries for a small donation to the Clinton Library and slush fund.

Conservatives are results orientated people who can´t see any value in a person like Clinton or Obama.Bill Clinton would have been as bad or worse than Obama, without a republican congress keeping him in check.

The only thing Obama has learned from the Clintons is to have several layers of firewalls between him and his disasters. Plus the MSM is more virulent in their protection of Obama,vs. Clinton.Clinton created the right right wing media that still haunts the left to this day.

The world is in a much more dangerous and unpredictable place since Clinton was SoS but that is glazed over by the media that wants to see a woman president over their fireplace mantel. After that, they want a gay president.

White House spokesman Jay Carney doubled down on denial Friday, insisting that the extensive closed-door revisions of the CIA’s Benghazi intelligence assessment were conducted by an intelligence official, not by administration officials. “The CIA, in this case [a] deputy director of the CIA, took that process and issued a set of talking points on that Saturday morning, and those were disseminated,” he said in a late-afternoon press briefing at the White House. As a White House spokesman, Carney works to smother unwelcome drama under a mass of non-confrontational responses,

Tehran - People in Tehran held demonstrations after Friday prayers to protest against the desecration of the tomb of a companion of Prophet Muhammad (S) on the outskirts of Damascus by Syrian rebels. The crowd was shouting, “God is great”, “Down with the U.S.”, and “Death to Israel.” According to Al-Manar, Syrian opposition groups posted photos online on May 2, saying they belong to the holy shrine of Hujr ibn Adi al-Kindi, which is located in the Damascus suburb of Adra. Kabul, Afghanistan - The United States has requested the use of nine large military bases in Afghanistan after international forces complete their combat mission here at the end of next year, Afghan President Hamid Karzai said Thursday. In the first public disclosure of the number of bases under discussion in security talks between the U.S. and Afghanistan, Karzai indicated that he would agree to the request. The Internal Revenue Service on Friday said that it inappropriately selected tea party political groups for special scrutiny in the 2012 campaign, an admission likely to fuel long-simmering suspicions among conservatives that the IRS has been singling them out for unfair treatment. The IRS official who oversees tax-exempt groups, Lois Lerner, acknowledged at a conference on Friday the actions were wrong and apologized, according to the Associated Press. Lerner said groups with the words “tea party” or “patriot” in their applications for tax-exempt status faced additional screening.

As a presidential speech writer for the first Bush White House, I am always very interested in what presidents say in their formal speeches. They know, of course, that their remarks will be widely covered by the press, studied by analysts, and influential in contemporary political debates. For that reason, presidents rarely speak off-the-cuff, and their every word is carefully chosen for exactly the message the White House wants to convey to the public. Their graduation speeches, like all presidential addresses, go through many drafts and are reviewed by high-level administration officials

Christpher Stevens was missing for hours during the attack after being dragged out of the diplomatic post in Benghazi.

Northwestern University continued to stumble over diversity issues this week as Mexican students voiced disagreement with a campuswide letter that advised students not to celebrate Cinco de Mayo by engaging in racially-offensive activities, such as eating tacos and drinking tequila. Leaders of Alianza, a Latino student group, and the Associated Student Government called on students to remember that Cinco de Mayo commemorates Mexico’s victory over France in the Battle of Puebla. When it became clear last fall that the CIA’s now discredited Benghazi talking points were flawed, the White House said repeatedly the document were put together almost entirely by the intelligence community, but White House documents reviewed by Congress suggest a different story. She weathered Whitewater. She made it past Monica ?Lewinsky. Now Hillary Clinton is hoping to beat the rap on Benghazi and make it to the White House. The Clinton political machine is in full campaign mode already, preparing for 2016 and hoping voters forget by then that she had a key role in the Obama administration’s handling of the terror attack. But that’s becoming more difficult as the GOP appears to be laying the groundwork for tying Clinton to Benghazi and making sure it stays front and center in the next campaign. Some of the testimony from State Department whistleblowers

Fans of Glenn Beck are complaining about what I wrote yesterday about his speech at the National Rifle Association convention, where he used a giant image of Michael Bloomberg photoshopped into what appeared to be an image of Hitler with his arm raised in a Nazi salute and wearing an armband. The Beck crowd now tells me that it wasn’t Hitler’s picture into which the New York mayor was transposed but that of Communist leader Vladimir Lenin. They say that means I owe Beck an apology along with the Anti-Defamation League and others who were also outraged by it.

This is called "à la carte programming," and it´s long been a dream of consumers who only want a handful of channels. McCain tried to introduce similar legislation in 2006 and it went nowhere.

Congressman Frank Wolf of Virginia has written House Speaker John Boehner, requesting the creation of a bipartisan Select Committee to investigate the Benghazi terror debacle. It is an excellent idea. A Select Committee is the only means available now for the U.S. political system to extricate itself from the labyrinth called Benghazi. There have been two fulcrum events in the accounting of what happened in Benghazi. The first was U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice´s September 16 declarations on TV that Benghazi was part of the Islamic world´s violent, spontaneous reaction to the incendiary California YouTube video.
