O’Reilly Confronts Colin Powell In Wide-Ranging Interview On Obama And GOP’s Racial Politics

| General Colin Powell has been very critical of the Republican party in recent years, and tonight he appeared on Bill O’Reilly‘s show to defend his criticisms of the GOP. O’Reilly grilled Powell on why he continues to support President Obama despite the bad economic numbers and made him defend his claim that the Republican party has a problem with minorities. O’Reilly also brought up a criticism that Powell is just bitter with the party because they made him look bad following his 2003 speech before the United Nations on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Comments: Powell´s assertions about voter ID were horribly weak. He should just become a Democrat and be done with it.

Powell was stunning ...revealed himself to be a racist with talking points that seemed to be written by Obama´s WH...he said voter ID was racist in nature but made no comments about the incredibly voter theft by Obama´s long term associates ACORN... Powell also spoke of "Leveling the playing field" ...right from Obama´s talking points... Powell spoke of the Republican Party as against all minorities, that is an inherently racist comment...
I wish OReilly had asked about Powells set up of Scooter Libby and his efforts to take down Cheney and Bush...and how he lets his and Armitages lies divide this country for the sole reason...to usher the Communist Obama in..so disappointed in Powell..What was he ? The Manchurian General?

O´Reilly needs to moderate a Presidential debate (actually all 3) in 2016 . That should be non negotiable for the Republican candidate to participate in them.

CHICAGO — The NSA’s domestic surveillance program and the IRS scandal didn’t come from nowhere. They have a geneology. Roosevelt begat Truman. Truman begat Eisenhower. Eisenhower begat Kennedy. Kennedy begat Johnson. Johnson begat Nixon. Nixon begat Ford. Ford begat Carter. Carter begat Reagan. Reagan begat Bush. Bush begat Clinton. Clinton begat Bush. Bush begat Obama. There you have the genealogical family that begat domestic spying, domestic intelligence operations, illegal wiretapping and eavesdropping, electronic surveillance on a massive scale, wholesale violations of civil rights. These were the overseers of egregious, constitutionally questionable investigations by government bureaucrats to target “enemies”,

And the group is targeting 75 congressional districts for a push on immigration this summer, with a special focus during the August congressional recess. "Those districts include both persuadable Members of Congress who we believe we can bring on board with our immigration efforts, and Members who we know to be supporters of reform from competitive districts that will

A Senate panel will begin consideration of a carbon tax bill as part of a broader hearing on climate change in mid-July. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairwoman Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) told reporters in the Capitol on Thursday that Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vt.) climate bill will surface during that hearing. Boxer has said she wants to get the legislation to the floor this summer. But it faces a tough path in the Senate, and is likely dead on arrival in the GOP-controlled House. While liberal Democrats have revived previously moribund climate change discourse in recent

The decision by U.S. District Court Judge Edward Korman on Wednesday means that Plan B One-Step, a popular brand of emergency contraception, will soon be available over-the-counter along with its generic counterparts. The decision ends a long battle between women´s health advocates and the Obama administration over who should have access to the morning-after pill. Meanwhile, another Gallup poll shows President Obama with only a 47% approval rating, with 44% disapproving. If you think about it, this makes perfect sense. After all, Obama fooled everyone when he ran as the anti-Bush in 2008. Everyone thought Obama meant he would be less hawkish than his predecessor. Franks made the comment during a committee mark-up of his late-term abortion ban bill, which is expected pass the House next week. The Republican lawmaker was arguing against a Democratic amendment allowing rape and incest victims to procure abortions. As written, the bill only exempts women whose lives are in danger. One person whose privacy was not invaded by U.S. intelligence was Tamerlan Tsarnaev, as he repeatedly visited the al Qaeda online magazine Inspire for its recipe “Build a Bomb in the Kitchen of Your Mom.” Even after Russian intelligence asked the FBI to investigate Tsarnaev, the huge databases our intelligence services maintain in the name of our national security failed to alert the agents to Tsarnaev’s interest in building the pressure cooker bombs he would use to devastating effect at the Boston Marathon. In the immediate aftermath of the Boston bombings, investigators did not fail to note similarities
