Senator to Block DefSec
Nominee Until Panetta Testifies

Weekly Standard, by Daniel Halper

Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina pledged last night on Fox News to block President Obama´s secretary of defense nominee, Chuck Hagel, until Leon Panetta testifies on the Benghazi terror attack:"All right, Senator Hagel has been nominated by the president for secretary of defense. How are you going to vote on that one?" Fox host Greta Van Susteren asked Graham. "It will depend on what he says on the hearing Thursday. But the one thing I´m not going to do is vote on a new secretary of defense until the old secretary of defense, Leon Panetta,

Yup - - Lady Lindsey "Raging Pussycat" Graham will pull a Ruth Buzzi and pummel Panetta with his pocketbook.

We just saw how tough he was with The Piaps.

Wake me when it´s over.

Until proven wrong, I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt to Lindsey Graham. Panetta is NOT hillary and I doubt he will get away with what she did.

Lindsey Geewhiz and John McPain want Obama to appoint an Illegal alien as Sec of Defense to show support for their latest amnesty plan. "If he hasn´t committed a really violent crime, why can´t an illegal who has lived here for 7 years or more be Defense Secretary?"

I heard Col. Lindsey Graham (sir force) on Jay Sekulow´s program say that the answer to Benghazi lies with the 30 people who weere taken away from there and who could tell us if we could only find out who and where they are. No one will talk.

I don´t think Graham is a wimp and I think we should acknowledge it when he does something we do like. He is going to block the Defense Secretary nominee and some of us sneer at him.

Personally, I doubt any more can be gotten out of Panetta than was gotten out of Hillary. We can hardly waterboard them, though it would be a pleasure.

One of the more bizarre memes propagated by the proabort left about the trial of Kermit Gosnell, who "faces 43 criminal counts, including eight counts of murder in the death of one patient, Karnamaya Monger, and seven newborn infants," is that Fox News has been almost as negligent in covering the story and the trial as the Big Three broadcast networks, and that conservative media in general have also mostly ignored the story. Through Monday evening, April 8, the Media Research Center´s Matt Philbin noted that Gosnell´s trial "has received exactly zero seconds of airtime on the broadcast networks."

The relative, speaking to the Daily News, claimed that mass murderer Lanza was taunted and attacked by fellow students at his childhood alma mater. “Nancy felt fiercely protective of him,” the relative said. “She was convinced the school wasn’t doing enough to protect Adam. JEFFERSON CITY — Republican lawmakers´ concerns about new driver´s license procedures are being exacerbated by the state´s unique system for marking concealed weapons endorsements. Missouri appears to be the only state whose license bureaus also issue concealed weapons endorsements in conjunction with driver´s licenses. In Missouri the endorsements are doled out by the sheriff´s office but the permits are printed by the Department of Revenue. Permit holders can choose whether they want to have the endorsement printed on their driver´s license or on a separate non-driving identification card. Of the roughly 178,000 concealed weapon permit holders, 174,450 Missourians choose

Some of Manhattan’s wealthiest neighborhoods are exploding in a wave of violent crime that hearkens back to the bad old days when people feared going out at night, according to NYPD data obtained by The Post. Chelsea, Gramercy Park, TriBeCa, SoHo and Midtown South all posted a frightening rise in rapes in the first three months of 2013 compared with the same period in 2012. Felony assaults in the usually peaceful West Village nearly tripled, the new crime statistics show. Greenwich Village’s 6th Precinct tied the Rockaways’ grimy 100th Precinct for the city’s biggest year-to-date overall

However, he could still face charges in Stafford County, which did not join Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico counties in the agreement. Pro golfers, golf writers, and TV commentators are up in arms that Tiger Woods was only given a 2-stroke penalty for his illegal drop on the 15th hole yesterday. Tiger said last night that he dropped his ball two yards behind his previous spot, clearly violating the rule that you must drop "as nearly as possible" to your original spot. Golf people are not happy about it. They say that the new rule is B.S. (or it´s at least being misinterpreted), and Tiger should DQ himself to save the integrity of the game.

Few Americans can not answer this question: who is the worst domestic mass murderer in United States’ history? Due to the United States media, most are aware that Timothy McVeigh slaughtered 168 people with a bomb in 1995. Most Americans also know the names of our three most monstrous serial killers: “The Green River Killer” Gary Ridgeway, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy. The U.S. media is again responsible for the general awareness of these men; these stories deserved — and received — national attention due to our common interest in personal safety, the rule of law

In Philadelphia, at a human abattoir on Lancaster Avenue, is where it ends, not where it starts. It starts with the perversion of language. It starts when the icons of a dissipated culture reduce a baby to a “fetus.” From there, Yeats’s blood-dimmed tide rolls rapidly in. Before long, a baby is not a person but a punishment, as President Barack Obama framed the matter in his familiar off-the-cuff iciness. Of course, to describe newborn children in their boundless possibilities and wonder would be to acknowledge, foremost, their humanity. That is why, instead, abortion enthusiasts must grope for words

The law, said Rockefeller, is “so complicated and if it isn’t done right the first time, it will just simply get worse.” Rockefeller’s consternation echoes comments made earlier this

Here is something I don’t understand: liberals are often revealed as vile, vulgar hatemongers–not all of them, of course, but far too many–yet they never seem to pay a penalty at the polls. Why is that? Margaret Thatcher’s death has been the latest occasion for the Left to show its true stripes. All across the U.K., there have been demonstrations–vulgar at best, and violent at worst. In Bristol, lefties celebrating a Thatcher “death street party” started fires, destroyed property and battled police: This evening in Trafalgar Square, liberals have turned out for a long-planned celebration of Thatcher’s death:

But eight former employees of a run-down West Philadelphia abortion clinic now face prison time for the work they did for Dr. Kermit Gosnell. Three have pleaded guilty to third-degree murder. And Gosnell, 72, is on trial in the deaths of a patient and seven babies allegedly born alive. In testimony at the capital murder trial this past month, an unlicensed doctor and untrained aides described long, chaotic days at the clinic. With President Obama, there’s always a catch. In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. It’s a technical change in pursuit of honesty and good government. And if adopted, it would cause benefits to grow more slowly, though almost imperceptibly so. Republican leaders in Congress ought to be delighted since they had “championed”—Obama’s word—the idea in the first place. Then came the catch. The president’s price for adopting this gentle reform was hundreds of billions in new tax increases.
