| It´s about time for some bipartisan...skeet shooting? Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tennessee, joined a chorus of skeptics who questioned President Barack Obama´s recent comments about his hobby of skeet shooting, a sport where participants fire shotguns to break airborne clay disks. "If he is a skeet shooter, why have we not heard of this? Why have we not seen photos? Why hasn´t he referenced this at any point in time?" Blackburn said Monday on CNN´s "Erin Burnett OutFront." "I tell you what I do think," she later added. "I think he should invite me to Camp David,

I can´t imagine Obama skeet shooting.I doubt if he´s ever picked up a gun.The media can´t figure out whether this is a cool thing for Obama to do or not.
How could someone who bowled a 34 ever dream of shooting an airborne clay disk?

You knew this was another lie the minute it came out of his mouth. The kick of a twelve gauge would annihilate that skinny shoulder of his. I hope Congresswoman Blackburn continues to press her challenge. Show him up for what he is. Maybe Ed Henry will ask him about it at his next presser.

In 2009, the WH released an official photo of the Mooch and Obama watching a martial arts demo on the WH lawn. Photo captured Obama reacting like a terrified 10 year old girl to the fighter being tossed onto the mat. If the shrieking Clown in Chief couldn´t handle a mat toss, how could he ever hold a shotgun in those delicate hands?

He puts on his mom jeans, gets on his girlie bike, fastens his safety helmet, adjusts the elastic bands around his pant legs and petals to the bowling alley, where he bowls a 34.
This is the man the GOP failed to defeat. Twice.

Obama War Room: Blow it Forward
VALERIE JARRETT: Geithner’s here to give you a briefing on your blind trust, sir. OBAMA: Great. No blindfold today, Tim. I’ll just close my eyes. GEITHNER: Good news, sir. Your holdings in publicly traded firearms manufacturers have doubled in value. Smith and Wesson and Sturm Ruger have been going, uh, great guns since 2009. OBAMA: Told ya so. Nothing causes revolvers and semi-automatics to fly off the shelves like a Democrat in the White House. GEITHNER: Your investment in ammunition manufacturers was also prescient, sir. They’re running three shifts since you ordered five billion rounds for your new Civilian National Security Force. OBAMA: I’ve always said, you can’t be too thin or too rich or have too many bullets. David, has Feinstein shown any sign of tumbling to my real agenda—repeal of the 22nd Amendment limiting me to two terms, not the 2nd Amendment? PLOUFFE: Negative. The plan is still operative: we blow the Republicans out in 2014 and push through both Houses a motion to repeal, which then goes out to the states. Media Matters tells me they’ve accumulated enough dirt on Republicans in state houses across the country to assure repeal. JARRETT: The repeal is then encapsulated in a formal document published by the Federal Register. It is then the law of the land. OBAMA: Tell me the best part again. PLOUFFE: You know it, sir. OBAMA: Tell me again. PLOUFFE: [sighs] You appointed the Register’s Archivist. He’ll make a slight mistake in composing the proclamation, adding the digit “2” in the right place, thus invalidating the 22nd Amendment, not the 2nd. OBAMA: I love my country. I’ll stop at four terms, when Crazy Joe’s too old to succeed me.

When is Bammy ever at Camp David? Every week he is either out fund-raising (still) in far away places or he´s on the golf course.
By golly I´ll bet Bam Bam will take the Mooche, Bo and the girls out to Camp David for a nice quiet weekend(like what they all love) real soon. Mooche can finally take off her wig with bangs and just go "Angela Davis" while she´s there, since no one will see her.

I ran into Marsha many years ago at a gun show in Nashville while she was still in the state legislature. Cute, nice, and always on the right side of the issues. She was Tea Party before there was a Tea Party, and was very supportive of the grass roots movement to keep Tennessee from having a state income tax. I made a point of thanking her for her efforts.
She´s kinda small though. I wonder if she can handle a 12 guage. Can you shoot skeet with a 20? Whatever, I´m sure she could handle a bigger boomer than zero ever thought of doing.

OK Barry, do it your way. You´ll be very sorry after the first shot!

Posters references to obama´s bad golf reminded me of a topic I´ve posted on several times before. Just after the 2008 election there was an article in either Golf or Golf Digest about Presidential golfers. Zip was rated as the 5th or 6th best of them with a reported 16 handicap. Somewhat later it became clear that obama is no 16. Even though his scorecards are guarded and not reported, the word leaked out that his average score is in the 100-105 range. That means his handicap is more like a 28 on his best day. obama lied about his golf like he lies about everything else. BTW I´ve looked for the Golf magazine article and cannot find it. It´s as if the article has been scrubbed from the Web.

We´ll see photos now.... dated at least months ago, if not longer, to ´´prove´´ that he´s been shootin´ at them skeets for quite some time now. Great sport.
Or maybe he´s not the one shooting at them - maybe he lets his Civilian Military yoots do his shooting for him. Isn´t that what they´re for? (Gotta wonder if each clay has a white/GOP face or name painted on it.....)

I remember when my ex used to take me out target shooting (& sometimes skeet shooting). He tried to teach me how, but I didn´t like the kick or the noise. I enjoyed just watching the others shoot - which is what I suspect is all he does.

Considering the expanded public interest in a the Presidential Skeet Shoots, now that Øbama has let the "cat out" so-to-speak, you would think the Presidential Press Corps would be excited with questions on the event- and, of course, photos.
Has jay C. been informed as to what to say when those questions come up in the daily briefings? Hmmmm? Or will the press corps, sensing a delicate moment for the liar in Chief, get the message to not ask any questions about this- you know, to help the so-called "President" keep his lie secret, like his university records and his immigration status, and his credibility intact?

Has Obama ever been photographed doing anything remotely manly ? The guy can´t even open an umbrella. On June 8 , 2010 Obama hosted the Congressional picnic at the White House. He tried to walk Bo and photographic hilarity ensued as the puppy dragged him hither and yon. This may have been the first time Obama walked a dog which is a lot harder than eating them. A couple of photos had his loafers airborne-seriously. Michelle , Obama and Bo all walked out of the White House onto the lawn together for the photo op. Bo took off and Barry could not control the puppy. Michelle was photographed suddenly breaking into a run ( in a dress ) after the two of them as it was obvious that Barry was physically unable to control the dog. Obama was just a moment away from falling down and Michelle grabbed the leash in time. One iconic photo ( they may have scrubbed it by now ) had Obama , at the end of the leash , pirouetting up in the air like he was a ballerina .

It is a fake. It is a photo from when Zippy was golfing on the day the SEALS killed bin laden. Super easy to find the real photo, just google obamma golfing photos. It comes up immediately. It is also posted as part of an article at usbacklash.org

WASHINGTON— President Barack Obama supports requiring girls younger than 17 to see a doctor before buying the morning-after pill. But fighting that battle in court comes with its own set of risks. A federal judge in New York on Friday ordered the Food and Drug Administration to lift age restrictions on the sale of emergency contraception, ending the requirement that buyers show proof they’re 17 or older if they want to buy it without a prescription. The ruling accused the Obama administration in no uncertain terms of letting the president’s pending re-election cloud its judgment when it

Projecting madly, the White House on Sunday pushed the notion that Republican intransigence is the reason that Democrats have been unable to pass a budget during President Obama’s tenure. “Right now,” said senior White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer on Fox News Sunday, “the approach of many Republicans, particularly the leadership in the House, is my way or the highway.” This is certainly rich coming from an administration that has failed to garner a single “yes” vote on its budget proposals for the past several years, even from members of its own party. A sixth American was killed in a separate attack in eastern Afghanistan. Anne Smedinghoff was 25, said her father Tom Smedinghoff, who was reached by phone. "She was doing what she loved and she was doing great things," her father said. "We´re just in total shock." WASHINGTON — President Obama went out for a round of golf Saturday afternoon, his second weekend in a row to hit the links at a course at Joint Base Andrews. The president golfed with White House aides Marvin Nicholson, Joe Paulsen, and Michael Brush. Last Saturday, the president played golf at the same course with Nicholson, Brush, and friend and Chicago businessman Marty Nesbitt. The outing marked his first time on the golf course since the sequester cuts went into place on March 1. The president also took in the Syracuse-Marquette NCAA tournament basketball game

No doubt there are parents who have frank, frequent, open and easy discussions with their teens about sex. I’ve never met any. I do know parents, however, who were stunned to find their 15-year-old’s birth control pills in her pocketbook. Or who came home early to discover junior and a girl they’d never met frantically buttoning up. Or who found out — when their children were grown — what really went on when Meghan said she was sleeping over at Ashley’s. Such sobering tales of teens snookering mom and dad caused mixed emotions in me — a solidly pro-choice

Last fall, Ginnette Powell traveled from her home in Boston´s Dorchester section to her old middle school in South Boston - a journey of just two miles, but one that covered a huge emotional distance. Finally, she was able to leave the painful past behind. Powell endured the explosive battle over desegregation in Boston in the 1970s. Tears come to her eyes when she talks about how it took her decades to return to the place where she never felt safe as an African-American seventh-grader."It was scary because of what you were going into, getting bricks thrown at your bus.

A few years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Lindalyn Adams was escorting visitors on a bus traveling down Elm Street near Dealey Plaza. “I was pointing out the John Neely Bryan cabin and the Old Red Courthouse, and suddenly I realized the whole bus was leaning towards the right as we were going close to the Texas School Book Depository, and the women [were] pointing and saying, “Is that? Is that? Is that?’” Adams recalled during an oral history interview. She knew, of course, what “that” meant. “That” was where Kennedy had been shot.

They’re big. They’re ugly. They’re noisy. And they’re coming. So get ready. The blockbuster brood of the periodical cicada, large insects that emerge en masse from the ground in 17-year intervals across the northeast, is on its way — and New York City’s largest public radio station is encouraging residents in Central Jersey and beyond to help track the invasion. “The whole idea came from our news director, Jim (Schachter, of Summit), who lives in New Jersey — he promised his wife that they would move from their home before the 17-year cicadas came back,”

The night began like many at Boorda Hall, a five-story barracks at Naval Station Great Lakes, the Navy´s premier training base on the shore of Lake Michigan in Illinois. Somebody announced a party, and the hard drinking and beer pong began. A 21-year-old Marine lance corporal, so drunk on rum and Mountain Dew she was slurring her words, went to look for Kyle Antonacci, a Navy seaman she´d been dating off and on. Antonacci soon texted his friend Mike Pineda to help him deal with her. Both men had sex with her that night. But what distinguished May 8, 2009,

A U.S. Foreign Service officer was killed and four others wounded in Afghanistan while carrying out a goodwill mission in the eastern part of the country. The State Department team was delivering books to an Afghan school in the Qalat district of Zaul province when their convoy was hit by a suicide bomber, Secretary of State John Kerry said Saturday. "She was everything a foreign service officer should be: smart, capable, eager to serve, and deeply committed to our country and the difference she was making for the Afghan people," Kerry said of the slain official.

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. (Snip) Last month, the Nielsen Co. started labeling people in this group "Zero TV" households, because they fall outside the traditional definition of a TV home. There are 5 million of these residences in the U.S., up from

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. And pundits and reporters aren´t the only ones positing the "The Hillary Factor": No less than the House Democratic whip, Steny Hoyer, told BuzzFeed, “I don´t know that anybody would run against Hillary…. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
