Hillary Gives Away the Game
American Thinker, by Daren Jonescu

Original Article

Posted By:DW626, 1/28/2013 5:46:07 AM

Hillary Clinton´s angry flip-out at Senator Ron Johnson during her Benghazi testimony was a charmed moment. All at once, before the whole world, one of the highest ranking progressive authoritarians on the planet spilled the beans -- all of them -- about the left´s modus operandi. The revelation might be overlooked, however, if we focus too closely on Clinton´s easily quotable "What difference does it make?" The line as quoted merely shows Clinton to be a trapped liar trying to fake her way through an awkward moment with pomposity and bravado.

Hillary running and winning puts the final nails in the coffin of the republic.
The USA cannot endure 12-16 consecutive years of Democrat presidencies.

"What difference does it make"

That...

The Senate has yet to pass a budget?
More children are killed by abortion (55 million and counting) than people in wars?
The MSM lies about what Washington is really doing to Main Street?
The accumulated deficit is over 16Trillion?
Our unfunded mandates are over 120 Trillion dollars?
Washington is bought each election cycle by Party and Lobby money?
The US Constitution is being violated each and every day?
We are now a Nation operating with “Taxation without Representation”?
Progressives define a reduction in the growth of spending as a “cut”?

It makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
In 1775, England was kicked out of the Colonies.
There’s a storm brewing, America.

Freedom is at stake and the Freedom Fighters are leaving the Parties in droves.
The pendulum will start to swing back from the Progressive left and get back to our Founding Father’s values!

We’re the “Change” we’ve been waiting for!

A very astute catch by Mr. Jonescu.

Reminds me of back when, when mention of such a bizarre concept as "gay marriage" (though still not even conceived, especially not by gays) would´ve been relegated to the loony bin by even the most open-minded of Democrats. Now, step by step by step, the Left has cleverly maneuvered it into a supposedly self-evident "right".

With their own twisted logic, Clinton is correct, in a way. "At this point" it really doesn´t matter that al-Qaeda was behind the Benghazi attack - Obama won reelection: that was what mattered, and nothing else.

At no point can honesty ever enter the modus operandi of the Left. They know it better than we seem to.

Had Condi Rice lost it and gone out of control with a childish tantrum the way Hillary did, there would have been a huge outcry in the media. Instead, the media is praising Hillary for her passion. "What difference does it make" directly contradicts Hillary´s earlier resolution to find who was behind the attack and bring him/them to justice.

Reply 7 - Posted by: M2, 1/28/2013 7:47:33 AM     (No. 9143590)

What bothers me most is that the Obama Administration, its agencies and Hillary are permitted to stall by OUR SIDE. Once again, the GOP allows Democrats to set the guidelines, never questioning them, never putting the force of law behind their requests for information.

The Left is allowed to get away with stalling tactics, destroying evidence or not providing it, running out the clock, and generally being lawless. They wouldn´t do it if we did something about it.

It is long past time for the GOP to rise up and stick to the legal requirements they set for the provision of information from Democrats. If the GOP doesn´t begin showing some spine, they should not be surprised when a Third Party springs up to handle what they seem disinclined to dirty their hands with.

We know the Left are elitists. Now we know that too much of the GOP are, too. That must stop. Yesterday. The GOP, reluctant to do the hard things and fight dirty, will continue to lose elections until they get some cojones.

To waters so deep, no one can be saved and then shout ´what difference....at this point...does it make? We can´t change course, we must now suffer and die. The Titanic is going down,,,,what difference...at this point...does it make if the Captain made a mistake.

Mr. Jonesu does a fine job of detailing the tactics of the Left. Of course, the antidote to this tactic is bull dog Congress that has the spine to say, “No dammit, we are not leaving this room until we have answers. Get the president over here if you have to.” Unfortunately, the clubby, chummy relationships in Washington don’t lend themselves to that. We badly need to install some pay-for-performance modalities in Congress.

To anyone normal, that moment "what difference, at this point, does it make" would be appalling. But that moment is actually being used by her acolytes as a fist in the air moment of triumph. It´s sick. They don´t care about its selfishness, its illogic, its hubris, its callousness. All they care about is, "a strong woman, roaring, speaking truth to power, sister!" For them, it doesn´t make a difference. She´s right.

And of course progressives like the Clintons and Obama will say it´s all to help us, for the children or some other lame statement, but as poster M2 pointed out. Where is the "loyal opposition" in all this ?? I expect Clinton, et al to pursue their goals but I also expect(ed) our side to challenge/counter them.

Instead, we get so called future leaders of the GOP like Sen Rubio backing off, and even worse, praising Hillary. Did all these members (of all parties) of Congress sign some kind of pact with the Devil to sell out We the People and the Constitution for power and wealth?

On KFI640 one caller said that that type of drone is armed. so lets say the Caller was wrong or only half-correct.
Then lefts find out what kind it is on drone, and as for ´what difference did it make´,lets find out if it was armed ,if the rockets were fired and under whose orders.
Like the Wategate question: "what did the Regime know and when did they know it."
At the least then lets subpoena the guys/gals that operate the Drones and elicit their testimony.

Interesting read, and mostly correct.

However...
One part was strange.

FTA --
"FDR rammed New Deal legislation through an intimidated Supreme Court"

Really?
Legislation goes through Congress.
It only goes to the Supremes as a result of lawsuits after various appellate courts
have an earlier crack at it.

The Supreme Court and its "nine old men" as FDR complained, voided some of the New Deal.
(Works Progress Admin or somesuch, for example.)

After his 1936 landslide re-election, FDR blew all his second-term political capital
on a doomed scheme to expand the Supreme Court to 15 members and, after that,
"pack the Court" with his own appointees in the newer slots.

This failed, and FDR´s mojo was revived only by facing off against Fascists by
running for a third term.
His domestic policies were a failure -- unemployment was 16 percent when the
Japanese attacked the U.S. Navy fleet at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo saved FDR´s career and reputation as a prez, as he
opposed them effectively.

The Supremes -- SCOTUS -- flummoxed FDR quite successfully, in fact.
In his second term they had him whipped.

Can you even imagine how horrible those words sound to the families and friends of those brave men who were murdered in Benghazi under Hillary´s watch? Or how it sounds to American diplomats who are currently posted in dangerous places? Or how it sounds to us, citizens of a republic whose government is charged with protecting its diplomats?

Hillary as one of the great secretaries of state?!? Barry is kidding, right? Right???

The only way to fight back and win is to push back constantly and never give up. Liberalism grows worse when people surrender in the face of its "charm". I see this happening right now on the issue of immigration.

It isn´t just a person-to-person battle but a conceptual one. Concepts are everything. Liberals use slogans like "everybody else is doing it so why can´t we?" or "we know what´s best for you" to charm their way into our hearts. Then, they´ve won us over to their concept of permissiveness - a world without boundaries, without morals, and ultimately without truth.

Reply 28 - Posted by: ocjim, 1/28/2013 10:22:12 PM     (No. 9145368)

Perfect headline. Yes it is a game. And making Progressive gains is all about Gamesmanship. No principles whatsoever. The idea for them is always, ´´What sort of strategy or tactic will work this time?´´ ´´Should we bamboozle, or should we take great umbrage and guilt the country toward our goals, or should we demonize our opponents, or should we just shove our policy down their throats ´ cause we can´´, or [insert another angle here], etc., etc., etc...

Obama and Hillary´s game was obviously to fog the Benghazi issue, delay the fact finding, until a point that they could say, ´´What difference does it make, NOW?´´... Just another game out of their gamemanship playbook.

And once again the dumb Republicans are surprised like Charlie Brown and the football... Lucy knows the game, and so does Hillary.

And when that article is the recent "Being White in Philly" piece by liberal Robert Huber, you know it doesn´t take much truth to hit that nerve. That´s the scary part. Huber´s article contains mostly tepid examples of whites´ negative experiences with blacks and primarily black neighborhoods, such as a Philadelphia resident whose grill was stolen from her backyard but "blames herself" for not fencing it in. Prodded by a president with a weakness for racial agitation and enabled by a politically complicit media, the State of Florida persists in a prosecution that can come to no good end. The defendant is neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman. The charge is the second-degree murder. The potential outcomes range from major injustice, if Zimmerman is convicted, to mayhem in the streets, if he´s acquitted. And the state plods on as though the angels were on its side. They are not. The political world changed its orbit Wednesday as Rand Paul seized the spotlight in his March 6 filibuster. Rand Paul -- not this author´s favorite before -- is probably now the 2016 front-runner for president. But the difference results from fundamental changes in substance. How can one day be that big of a deal? Because Rand Paul demonstrated a reproducible, winning formula. It was as if Ronald Reagan were granted just one day to come back to Earth to remind the Party of Lincoln of "how it´s done." Rand demonstrated a repeatable formula that all Republicans can copy.

Sixty-three months ago Barack Obama officially declared his candidacy for President. Only now are some among the so-called media and ruling elites in America slowly awakening from their self-induced infatuation and beginning to understand who he is. It has become difficult to ignore the overt intimidation, demagoguery and deliberate falsehoods spewed forth by Obama relative to sequestration -- a miniscule cut in the growth of federal spending. However, any cursory examination of his past reveals that these tactics are second nature to the man who currently occupies the Oval Office.

Too little serious conservative analysis of the 2012 presidential campaign has yet appeared. This is understandable. The results of the election were disheartening to the point of shock. The campaign defied all historical precedent, all commonsense interpretation. The Romney ticket should not have lost and did not deserve to lose. The Democrats, fielding the least worthy ticket in the past century -- and that´s saying something -- did not deserve to win. The reasons they did are myriad and complex. But before we get too far down the road, there is one lesson that has to be grasped:

Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

Chelsea Clinton has raised her profile in the last few days, which sparked the inevitable question about the former first daughter´s future: Will she ever be like Mom and Dad and run for office? Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. A nonprofit organization that works with the families, Sandy Hook Promise, said that after Obama´s speech on gun control in Hartford, he is flying with relatives of seven children and one staffer killed during December´s massacre at the school. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.
