The NRA is open to bribery?

I don´t think anyone has to bribe the NRA to support our entire Bill of Rights, including the Second Amendment.

To get a Democrat to support these rights, however, probably WOULD require a substantial bribe.

The sad part is Kalifornia has elected a woman who is attempting to outlaw something due to it´s looks.

If Di Fi had any conscience, she would be trying to outlaw, swimming pools, automobiles and bathtubs rather than guns.

If Gun Free Zones worked, Chicago would be safe. Why don´t they pass another law that says Murder is unlawful. That should solve the problem.

The NRA is nothing but a bunch of like minded people enjoying the same hobby.Leave them alone and they´ll leave you alone.

Somehow I got on the WH email list about 3 years ago and got a message from MO.I replied to remove me from the list but my brain was looking for an ice bucket after reading just one sentence of it.

She does make a point, one which the NRA has never addressed. For the NRA´s position has been that teaching young people to use weapons, and how to use them safely, was the best policy. Adam Lanza was taught how to use weapons. he was taught how to use them safely. But that knowledge could not overcome psychotic or delusional thinking. Not surprising to those who work with the mentally ill, but probably surprising to the general public.

People aren´t born mentally ill. Serious mental illness tends to develop over time, with the most likely time to be in adolescence or young adulthood. There need to be ways to keep weapons out of the hands of those with psychotic/delusional thinking. Arming everyone won´t stop this, for some of those people you imagine being armed will turn out to have serious mental illness. And in a psychotic episode, they may snap.

I dunno, I find that I am increasingly disappointed with much of the commentary here on Lucianne. Calling people funny names, and using asterisks to get around the smutty language filter, does little to uplift the level of conversation.

"Venal" is a word usually associated with politicians like Feinstein.
