In a historic first, Obama made the glowing declaration to Steve Kroft in the Blue Room of the White House in a joint interview with the outgoing the Secretary of State. What are the criteria? Miles travelled?
Her job was to effect change but things changed for the worse everywhere she went and with everything she touched. Show me where that made her great. What country wanted this beast on their doorstep?

Our Secretaries of State have included John Marshall, James Madison, James Monroe, Henry Clay, Daniel Webster, John Calhoun, William Seward, Dwight Morrow, Foster Dulles, Henry Kissinger; among others. Fatso Clinton, an Albright clone, is an unqualified and noisy jackass the D´s need to coddle in order to keep her from throwing cinder blocks at the clown in the WH.

No, I don´t believe he said it that way. I heard the clip yesterday and what he said was that Hillary "will go down in history as one of the finest secretary of states" (sic), which is incorrect language - but what would you expect from such a brilliant person???

Name the accomplishments. The Russian Reset? A settled Middle East? Confident allies in London and Tel Aviv? North Korea behaving civilly?

None of the above. She did put on a bunch of miles on our aircraft. With all that mileage and time away from home, she reminds me of some folks I worked with during my career who confused being busy --- sometimes real busy --- with actually accomplishing something important. They fooled almost no one and were generally passed over.

IN the 2008 campaign, Miss Hillary famously declared that Barack Obama was not qualified to be president (especially not at 3am), meaning he lacked the judgment needed to, for example, choose the best people for posts like Secretary of State. You know what, she was right!

Think about it. How many countries in this world really "admire" the United States anymore. I think we are the laughing stock of the whole world. People used to want to come here, but I think that is really changing. Actually, I think people are wanting to leave this country --- for financial and many other reasons. AND, when has Obama made a true statement? He says one thing today and another tomorrow.....

Her tenure was bookended by the Reset Button and the "What does it matter" rant. Putting aside all questions of the inherent policy, the first reeks of such misplaced self-confidence that she didn´t even consult a linguist. In the last her self-confidence remains in the belief that she propose 2 alternative lies as the cause of the attack and no one will call her out.

Precisely. All those lawyers and not one prosecutor among them??? Just a bunch of speeches, and list of questions. Dumb. And so she was able to ignore or pick the questions she wanted to answer. It all started with an email. The message landed in my inbox on Monday, March 24, sent by a source I trust. “The FEC Has a Question for Harry Reid,” the subject line teased, and inside was a link to a document on the Federal Election Commission’s website. The document itself didn’t seem all that sensational. “Please amend Schedule B supporting line 17 of your report to clarify the following description: ‘holiday gifts,’” it instructed Reid’s campaign office. The line item in question specified that $11,370 had been paid to one Ryan Elisabeth for said holiday gifts. I made a

The Senate approved a bill Monday to bar a former hostage-taker tapped to be Iran´s ambassador to the United Nations from entering the United States. By voice vote, Republicans and Democrats united behind the legislation sponsored by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, that reflected congressional animosity toward Tehran and its selection of Hamid Aboutalebi. Iran´s envoy choice was a member of a Muslim student group that held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days in the 1979 seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran. The "nomination is a deliberate and unambiguous insult to the United States," Cruz said in remarks on the Senate

President Barack Obama today suggested that’s he’ll pressure Congress to to reduce voters’ student-loan payments before the November elections. “We’ve got to make it easier to repay student loans,” he told a subdued and unresponsive audience at Bladensburg High School, in Prince George’s County, Md. He used the same student-loan pitch in the run-up to the 2012 election, which helped him improve his support among younger voters, many of whom are having difficulty earning enough in the Obama economy to pay off their college debts. In June 2012, Congress voted to delay a planned increase in student-loan interest rates, after

Before sentencing former Councilman John Drayman to one year in county jail for embezzling money from a local farmer’s market, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephen Marcus compared Drayman to other public officials who have made recent headlines for corruption-related charges. “In our world today, especially recently, every time you open the newspaper, you see politicians ripping off the public,” Marcus said, making specific references to the city of Bell scandal and the indictment last week of California Sen. Leland Yee. “And now we have Mr. Drayman who is now part of this landscape.” Drayman pled guilty last month to

Hollywood Turns Against Obama

Other than being far and away the best film yet to come out of the ho-hum Marvel Universe, "Captain America: Winter Soldier" is a blatant $175 million "screw you" to Barack Obama´s surveillance state, and especially the President´s dishonesty and rationale surrounding it. Obama might have destroyed America´s economic recovery and healthcare system, but we can at least thank him for inspiring a 4.5 star superhero movie. With the exception of the first "Iron Man," Marvel´s heavy mythology, even heavier CGI, and over-reliance on flashy Euro-trash villains disguised as non-humans has left me cold. This includes the first "Captain America,"

Today he tweeted out some more anti-Koch nonsense: (Tweet) Now we find out, his campaign accepted a donation from the unAmerican monsters in 2003???!!! Andrew Stiles of the Washington Free Beacon has the shocking report: According to campaign finance records, former Koch Industries lobbyist Robert P. Hall III donated $500 to Reid’s campaign in 2003. The Majority Leader should return that money to the Kochs tout suite, or he may as well start donning their insignia,

Kathryn Riffenburg decided on a closed casket for her baby´s funeral. She didn´t want her family to see what whooping cough, her son´s first illness, had done to 9-week-old Brady Alcaide. The nearly forgotten disease, which has in recent years afflicted thousands of Americans, left Brady´s tiny body swollen and unrecognizable. So his mother dressed him in a white baptismal suit and hat and tucked him into a tiny white casket. Brady´s burial came just four weeks after his first laugh — inspired by her version of I´m a Little Teapot — and two weeks after his family learned that he had

In Dearborn, Mich., home to over 40,000 Americans of Arab descent, some Muslim parents have complained about flyers handed out at public schools advertising an Easter egg hunt at a local Presbyterian church. The Muslim parents assert that the flyers – emblazoned with the word “Eggstravaganza!” – violate the separation of church and state widely ascribed to the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause, reports the Detroit Free Press. Students at three Dearborn elementary schools received the flyers. A large number of Muslim students attend the schools. The “Eggstravaganza!” is scheduled to take place on April 12 event at Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church

Democrats are facing a senior problem that could get even worse this year. The party has traditionally had trouble with older voters, losing the group aged 65 and over by 21 points in 2010 — when Republicans picked up 63 seats — and by 12 points in the 2012 presidential race. Seniors are the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc in midterm years, turning out in higher numbers than Democratic base voters. A recent Gallup poll showed seniors have become even more Republican over the last two decades; in 2013, 48 percent considered themselves Republican. That spells trouble for Democrats, who are already facing

When friends and family members gathered recently at the White House for a private celebration of Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday, one of the invited partygoers was a former paid FBI Mafia informant. That same man attended February’s state dinner in honor of French President Francois Hollande. He was seated with his girlfriend at a table adjacent to President Barack Obama, who is likely unaware that, according to federal agents, his guest once interacted with members of four of New York City’s five organized crime families. He even secretly taped some of those wiseguys using a briefcase that FBI technicians outfitted

LONDON - Peaches Geldof, the wild-child second daughter of concert organizer Bob Geldof who worked as a model, a television presenter and a fashion writer and filled the pages of British tabloids with her late-night antics, has died at age 25. There was no immediate word on the cause of her death at her home in Wrotham, Kent, southeast England. Her father said in a statement Monday: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain." "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," he said. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever."

Call it the million-worker mystery. A large chunk of American adults are no longer in the labor force. That has left economists divided over how many of them are voluntarily not working-or even looking for work-because they wanted to retire, go to school or take care of family members, versus how many have been forced out because they couldn´t find a job. (snip) Shierholz estimates that there are currently more than 5 million missing workers who are not included in the unemployment rate because they are neither working nor looking for work, but who might be if the job market
