It’s time to take on the media
Legal Insurrection, by Anne Sorock

Original Article

Ace of Spades blog has posted a piece documenting the void of a Fourth Estate in America today, enjoining all of us who have been following its malpractice to do something: The media no longer hides it in their actions. They are fully fused with the Obama Administration and DNC. The only way in which they do hide it is by simply lying when confronted about it: They’ll issue a snide denial, then go about doing precisely what it is they were accused of doing. As I learned while interviewing veteran Kevin Tully,

In what other business is blatant malpractice tolerated with total impunity? Only in the business of "news media" is corruption, from a legal standpoint, ignored. Only in "news media" are cover-ups, lies, intentional distortions of the truth, slanders and libels accepted and defended (disingenuously) as "freedom of speech". In any other legitimate business in the USA such behavior would be grounds for litigation.

It´s time.

Having lived thru seventy decades I can assure you.....

It was ever thus.

There are alternate sources of information now. We ought to embrace them and ignore the constant mantra that all that´s wrong with the world is the fault of the republicans.

Get Smart! Think for yourself.

In all due respect, we can´t just ignore the leftist MSM. They are loud, disrespectful, trash all Repubs/Conservs, and they lie. We must, indeed, fight. Never before in the history of our country have the media shaped public opinion so well. If we don´t sell our values and truths, they will be lied about by the left. One small example, in yesterday´s historic march, even Fox Newa called the Pro-Life folks "anti-abortion march". Their name is "Pro-Life"! Where else is someone´s name changed to be politically correct?
Why did we lose election? Because of Brian Williams and the other Obama worshippers! We have less than two years to change things, let´s roll, (and not forgetting the mighty Hillary getting ready for 2016!)

My dream is this:

Mass cancellations of cable and satellite subscriptions. We should only have to pay for the channels we actually watch.

Accelerate newspaper bankruptcies. Start with the New York Times and boycott any of their advertisers.

Finally, take a vow for a year without Hollywood. No movies. Read a book, take a walk.

When Bush was in office every time he gave a speech the dems demanded equal time & received it.

THAT is exactly my dream too, we ( conservative Americans )need to stand together and just say no. Cancel your cable or satellite until we can only pay for the channels we want to watch and not be forced to pay for the other filthy trash channels and Marxist channels like MSNBC. Cancel your newspapers, BOYCOTT Hollywood. I can proudly say that I haven´t been to a movie in 20 years. I just cannot and will not support the filthy Communist in Hollywood.

For all the risky adventures Bran Ferren has chased in the past six decades—a list that includes a variety of hazardous undertakings, from traveling through Afghan war zones to working in Hollywood—there was one highly perilous pursuit he never dared take on: parenthood. “Having a family,” Ferren says, “wasn’t a priority.” It’s a late-summer afternoon, and Ferren—celebrated inventor, technologist, former head of research and development for Disney’s Imagineering department—is sitting inside a guesthouse-slash-storage facility on his ample East Hampton, New York, spread, drinking his third or fourth Diet Coke of the day. Anne’s story is a theoretically happy one with a terribly sad ending: an art teacher and a former engineer in the British Royal Navy, she led, by her own account, a wonderfully full life, with a great deal of adventure and satisfaction. But her life began in the middle 1920s, and at the age of 89 she found adapting to the modern world not only impossible but undesirable — she recoiled in horror from prepackaged dinners on sale at the grocery store, from fast food, from declining manners, from a culture dominated by television and the Internet, from vulgar consumerism,

AUSTIN — The street banners leading to the Lyndon B. Over three days, the conference will hear four U.S. presidents — Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and George W. If Griffin has his way, and he most assuredly will, some unionized businesses will be pinned in place at the discretion of their unions. The change Griffin is contemplating is unnecessary and inconsistent with both the law and the dynamics of our free-enterprise system. It will upset the balance mandated by the Supreme Court and should send a chill up the spine of unionized companies contemplating relocating an operation. It´s a question that has been at the heart of the health care debate for the past five years, and one that has been the source of plenty of confusion and misinformation: How much does Obamacare actually cost? Over at the newly launched vox.com, Sarah Kliff has a piece attempting to offer an easy explanation of President Obama´s health care law. Kliff is always worth reading on health care policy, but when describing the cost of Obamacare, she writes, “Expanding health coverage to millions of Americans is expensive; it will cost more than $1 trillion over the next decade.” In reality,

“In the end, history is not kind to those who would deny Americans their basic economic security. Nobody remembers well those who stand in the way of America’s progress or our people. And that’s what the Affordable Care Act represents.” President Obama, who made that statement last week, has never uttered truer words. Obama’s signature legislation is plainly standing in the way of Americans’ economic security and progress, a fact for which he and his congressional allies won’t be remembered kindly. The federal government’s own Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), housed in the executive branch, tells the tale. In June 2009,

While doing a review of Rupert Darwall’s book “The Age of Global Warming”, Charles Moore does an excellent job of succinctly identifying the alarmist movement’s core origins and core identity: The origins of warmism lie in a cocktail of ideas which includes anti-industrial nature worship, post-colonial guilt, a post-Enlightenment belief in scientists as a new priesthood of the truth, a hatred of population growth, a revulsion against the widespread increase in wealth and a belief in world government. It involves a fondness for predicting that energy supplies won’t last much longer (as early as 1909, the US National Conservation Commission

Democrats are facing a senior problem that could get even worse this year. The party has traditionally had trouble with older voters, losing the group aged 65 and over by 21 points in 2010 — when Republicans picked up 63 seats — and by 12 points in the 2012 presidential race. Seniors are the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc in midterm years, turning out in higher numbers than Democratic base voters. A recent Gallup poll showed seniors have become even more Republican over the last two decades; in 2013, 48 percent considered themselves Republican.
