Herman Cain explains why he
won’t run for Georgia Senate seat

Former presidential candidate Herman Cain says he won’t run for Georgia’s open Senate seat because he is focusing on his new radio show. Reacting to the news Friday that Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss will not seek re-election in 2014, Cain said, “No I’m not running!” in a statement provided to The Daily Caller by his spokeswoman. “My attention is laser focused on exposing the economic pain and suffering to come from a second Obama term, part of which is via my new nationally syndicated talk radio show that is finishing its first week on the air,” he said.

We need more like Herman to run! A man that looks for solutions than those that always have an excuse!

He knows where he can be most effective.
He doesn´t need to be wasting time and money fighting the same tripe he dealt with in his last run for office.

The unhampered voices of Herman Cain and Alan West are much needed. God bless them to reach the low-info ears that need it most, and change some hearts and minds. Hope their shows are wildly successful.

I´m going to try to find Cain´s radio show. Wonder who he´s going up against? I hope it´s Hannity. I can only take Sean in small doses. He repeats himself over and over and over. Yes, I know he once washed dishes, had surgery on his shoulder, did construction work, started shooting when he was 11, has a gun collection, doesn´t shoot much now because of his hearing loss related to the radio business. He goes on and on and on...same all same oh every day.

Cain replaced Neal Boortz, who is now retired. The show originates on WSB in Atlanta, 90 A.M. til noon. I travel on the job and caught Boortz in quite a few locations via syndication, but I don´t know if Cain inherited all of the syndication or if he has to establish his own. Personal opinion only, not supported by any factual data, I think Cain will lose a fairly large part of Boortz´s audience. Not because of his message, which parallels Boortz, but because of district differences in personality and the manner in which the message will be delivered.

A state police drug recognition expert who examined Kerry Kennedy after she struck a tractor trailer on a Westchester highway testified Tuesday he feared she had suffered a stroke or seizure – because he didn’t believe she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. “I was concerned that a medical condition might have taken place,” said Trooper Bradley Molloy during the second day of Kennedy’s drugged-driving trial. Kennedy, the daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy, had passed a series of sobriety tests he performed at the state police barracks in Somers, convincing him she was sober. “That’s why

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man whose 1965 Volkswagen Beetle was stolen nearly 40 years ago and recently recovered in Detroit says he never stopped grieving for the red convertible that he had running “slick as a ribbon” before it was stolen. Joe MacDonald of Knoxville, Tenn., said he used to buy Beetles to fix up and sell. Now he hopes to be able to get this one back and fix it up as well. “I already envision myself going to the lake house in my convertible,” he said in a phone interview on Tuesday. “There’s nothing I can’t fix on

In Wuthering Heights, Catherine says of Heathcliff: “My love for Heathcliff resembles the eternal rocks beneath: a source of little visible delight, but necessary ... He´s always, always in my mind: not as a pleasure, any more than I am always a pleasure to myself, but as my own being.” Based on the serialized romance novel political reporters have been writing since 2010, Emily Bronte might as well have been writing about President Barack Obama and Speaker of the House John Boehner, because the Gothic romance they share is exactly the same. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell says he sees no hope for enactment of tax overhaul legislation this year, and blames the Democrats for trying to use the issue to raise revenue by $1 trillion. The Kentucky Republican said Tuesday the object of overhauling the tax code should be making the nation more competitive, not raising more money for the government. McConnell´s comments undercut the Republican chairman of the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Dave Camp of Michigan. He is expected to outline his plan for overhauling the tax code on Wednesday. The senator´s remarks also marked the second time

International flight security concerns have been raised as passengers on board a flight from London to New York´s JFK were left to bypass immigration when the plane arrived at the wrong terminal. Passengers on the Delta Air Lines fight were let out into a section of the airport where they did not have to pass through immigration or customs. They were only stopped when airport employees realised they were in the wrong part of the airport. The passengers from the flight, Delta 3, which took off from Heathrow, found that instead of their expected customs and immigration check, they instead

WASHINGTON – Even the scoreboards in high school gyms eventually will have to promote good health. Moving beyond the lunch line, new rules that will be proposed Tuesday by the White House and the Agriculture Department would limit marketing of unhealthy foods in schools. They would phase out the advertising of sugary drinks and junk foods around campuses during the school day and ensure that other promotions in schools were in line with health standards that already apply to school foods. That means a scoreboard at a high school football or basketball game eventually wouldn´t be allowed to advertise Coca-Cola,

Airline seats are unlikely to get more comfortable any time soon. In fact, a recent seat analysis in the Wall Street Journal found that seat sizes are trending down, not up. But might science have a solution to this problem? Perhaps. The German technology company Fraunhofer IAO has proposed using virtual reality technology to immerse travelers in a more pleasant flying experience. It calls the technology VR-Hyperspace. In this airplane of the future seat sizes remain the same, but the backs of seats and walls, ceilings and floors are covered with display surfaces and flat-screen TVs.

The Obama administration is launching an “attack” on the Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D programs as part of Obamacare that will result in higher costs and fewer health care options for seniors, according to a U.S. House subcommittee. The administration is quietly introducing “policies that would undermine the integrity and success of the Medicare Part D program” according to the subcommittee. President Bush signed Medicare Part D into law in 2003 to subsidize prescription drug costs for Medicare beneficiaries. The Obama administration warned Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday not to react too aggressively to the fast-moving developments in Ukraine, where pro-Western demonstrators forced the nation’s Moscow-backed president from power over the weekend. National Security Adviser Susan E. It has the makings of a royal mess for “King Barack.” Monday morning’s Supreme Court argument about the Environmental Protection Agency’s authority to regulate greenhouse gases went badly for the Obama administration — so much so that the real question before the justices seemed to be how severe the EPA’s loss would be. The administration’s solicitor general, Donald Verrilli, pleaded with the justices to recognize the “urgent problem” of climate change, because the “threat to future generations gets worse” with each passing year. But as the argument played out, the court’s swing justice, Anthony Kennedy, made clear that he

Compared with how the Obama administration has swept under the rug the Benghazi attacks of September 11, 2012, Nixon’s attempt to cover up the Watergate burglary was rank amateurism. To be fair, Nixon’s team of Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell, and Dean were not in the same league as Obama’s, which includes not only his cabinet but most of the national media and much of Congress.
