Hillary Clinton’s Dodgy Testimony

| A lot of people in Washington apparently forgot how good Hillary Clinton is at not telling the truth. Wednesday, in her testimony before the Senate and, later, the House, Clinton brilliantly fudged, dodged, and filibustered. Of course, she’s a pro. Clinton was slow-walking depositions, lawyering up, and shifting blame when many of her questioners were still civilians down on the farm. Aided by a ridiculous format, she outfoxed most of the Republicans with ease.Meanwhile, the Democrats, almost uniformly, seemed singularly interested in celebrating Mrs. Clinton as a global diva who somehow manages to carry the burden of her awesomeness

Politics aside for a moment - sometimes you´ve just got to sympathize with Bill Clinton. While giving her testimony Miss Hillary managed to personify every single attribute that turns a man off in a woman, and any that could possibly turn a man on was utterly lacking. Imagine being married to this Robot of Chill, this Diametric Opposite of Sensuality, this Cheese Grater of Anti-Femininity. It´s amazing Bill hasn´t had hundreds of more affairs than he´s had. Poor guy.
When Kerry takes over her job, there really won´t be much of a gender change at the head of State.

I have concluded that the Republicans, whose principal activity seems to be serving as a foil to the ruthless, relentless progress of the Commiecrats, are too lazy or too stupid to learn from a trenchant column like this one. Very likely, they are both.

"...Obama was happy to watch the country argue new limits on free expression and the necessity of giving bloodthirsty savages and terrorists a heckler’s veto on what Americans can do or say. Clinton was in on that lie, and that makes all the difference in the world."
Best point made yet about this farce. And the entire MSM was in on it, too. And by the way, the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.

After three months of planning on what to say and how to say it, she artfully dodged every question they asked which were few. The Democrats showered her with sickening praise which really turned off the viewers. They did her more harm than she did herself. I had to LOL and even she just rested her head on her hand and listened. Then she had to throw a tantrum when someone dared to ask her a question. It was a Farce alright.

Ah, what difference does it make? I mean, at this point. move on. Right? I cried about it, or pretended to, so isn´t that what really counts. What matters now is finding out what happened so it doesn´t happen again but what difference does it make what happened.
Now, this is so incredible but I suppose nothing about Hillary should surprise me. But, social media is abuzz with people who think, SHE DID GREAT! It doesn´t matter what she did or said. Alll that matters is, "I am woman Hear me Roar. Speak truth to power. Fist in the air. Right ON!" That sentient free Americans should reduce themselves to 1970´s cliches is so dispiriting. Ah, maybe Hillary´s right. What difference does any to it make. The country is over.

I feel for the family members of those killed in Bengazi. Our government officials who should be held accountable for this act, just skated away untouched, then closed the book on this story. This was no hearing, it was a scripted performance designed to make everyone forget about what happened on that day.

I for one am soooo looking forward to the day Jesus returns and brings God´s judgment and justice be done.
I am sooooo tired of the double, triple, or quadruple standards out there.
While the media, sports, Hollywood, liberal Dims, and anyone Anti-American get special treatment under the law, the rest of us have to deal with reality and the sharp rebuke of "justice."
We live in an unrecognizable and ever-worsening place. The people we continue to vote for do not do us any favors. They are more and more becoming a part of the problem rather than our staunch advocates.
I smelled the faint aroma of revolution in this morning´s air...

Bill and HilLIARy´s life has been full of nothing but lying, cheating and stealing.
Off they go - to a house in the Hamptons - millions in their pockets (her campaign debt paid the DAY BEFORE her hearing ?? - AND paid to self!) and millions to be made in the next four years before she makes the history books (her real intent from the beginning) by ANY means possible.....including murder.

If this were a Republican administration, leftists would be screaming about a conspiracy to misinform the public to cover for their role in the deaths of the four Americans, by ignoring the intelligence reports and repeated requests for better security. Hillary and Obama flagrantly lied to cover up their role in the death of these men, but they can constantly lie and break every law and their minions will still back them 100%, because their ultrapartisan leftism trumps everything else.

As usual, Jonah is right on:
"First, why did the administration lie? Well, it wanted to conceal its utter failure to prepare for terrorist attacks on September 11 — which is like being surprised by Christmas falling on December 25. Also, the Obama administration, by which I mean the Obama campaign, was desperate to protect its hyped record of fighting terrorism."
Her Republican questioners should have been ready when she asked "What difference does it make" with this kind of response. Instead, they folded up and were left muttering in the corner. (I like Marco, but he had nothin´.)

Hillary lied and lies without shame or remorse. SHE IS A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR who should not be in politics. In 2008, Hillary accused the Bosnian Serbs of shooting at her, and she and Chelsie had to run for their car, and it was not true. Yesterday, Hillary said that the way the four brave Americans died makes no difference, and she pounded on the table. I am very skeptical about people who pound on the table to make a point The way the four Americans died makes a huge difference to the poor widows and children. If Hillary had alerted the Army and took the proper rescue measures perhaps the four men may be alive today. Is it possible that the reason why Hillary did not get their frantic calls for help BECAUSE SHE WAS DRUNK????

The hearing was a disgusting display of fawning incompetence. Why even call for a hearing when the outcome is known in advance, and I think we all knew what would happen in that room. There is no accountability in Washington. Mrs.Clinton skated and Republicans for the most part were ineffective. The questioning was weak and rambling. She filibustered and totally ignored what she didn´t care to answer. The men and women tasked to find out what happened and why should be ashamed. They failed the country and those families.

Hillary learned well as an assistant to the prosecution at the Watergate hearings. She learned what happens to people who give honest testimony at a politically-directed lynching. So she approaches the hearings with a barrage of earnest doubletalk, baffling bull[bleep], airy generalities, and answering questions with the answer to a question that wasn´t asked -- all the tools of evasion were employed. Her testimony revealed her to be a skilled Artful Dodger and a lousy Secretary of State.

Saw Glenn Beck give a terrific insight into the (w)itch´s performance.
It was trained counterintelligence. Delay, distract, evade and delay, and lie and delay. Did you notice how many times she said she would give her answers later in a written response?
Hillary didn´t answer the questions that were about her lying about the video, etc. She would talk about something else.
Sen. Johnson asked about why they lied to the American public. She didn´t answer the question. She talked about who killed the Americans. That wasn´t the question. The question was why did you lie the to American public?

Another example of the poor excuse for Republicans we have in Congress: If Jonah Goldberg could come up with at least two occasions where PIAPS blamed the video for Benghazi, why couldn´t a republican on the committee say, "excuse me, Madam Secretary, but you DID say this video was to blame. Let me refresh your memory..." and feed her the quotes? Republicans have had at least three months to construct a strategy for this hearing and they didn´t even have the simplest of tactics to counter this harpie. Obama is succeeding: I am virtually assured of registering as an independent from now on. Get a set, Republicans! These people have openly declared war on you, and it´s time to fight back!

Eliana Johnson reports that four Republican members of the Senate Judiciary — Jeff Sessions, Chuck Grassley, Mike Lee, and Ted Cruz — are calling for transparency from their GOP colleagues in the “Gang of Eight” that is drafting immigration reform legislation. In a letter to John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio, and Jeff Flake, the four Judiciary Committee members express concern that an immigration reform bill will be rushed through Congress without proper oversight in the form of hearings and robust debate. They note that the Gang has “secretly met for months” without consulting

The Supreme Court could soon end one of the federal government´s most archaic practices. Since the 1930s, the Agriculture Department has turned California raisin growers into pawns of its Raisin Administrative Committee, which can commandeer up to half of the farmer´s crop and then pay them little or nothing for the product. Marvin Horne, a 67-year-old raisin farmer in Fresno, Calif., was fined almost $700,000 for refusing to surrender control of much of his harvest to the government committee in 2002. Horne, who has been growing raisins for more than 40 years,

There are many who scoff at Andrew Cuomo’s chances in a presidential primary campaign, but I am not among them. His name is an iconic Democratic brand, he’s forceful on the stump and a prodigious fund-raiser. Besides, somebody has to win the nomination. Of course, there are hurdles. Saint Hillary is gearing up to run, and there will be a scrum among contenders, probably including Vice President Joe Biden, competing just to be Clinton’s top rival. The scenario, then, is daunting but doable — or at least it was,

Neither — it´s the story told by a 1622 shipwreck whose treasures were desperately needed to shore up the finances of the struggling Spanish Empire. Historian James Thomas Flexner referred to George Washington as "the indispensable man." Americans all know he was a general, but have you ever wondered what grade of general? How many stars did Gen. Washington have? In today´s Army, a one-star general is a brigadier; two stars is a major general; three stars is a lieutenant general; four stars is just plain general. During World War II, Congress created the five-star general, the modern rank of general of the Army. There had been an earlier grade that was called general of the Army,

Imagine the pitch to a History Channel executive for the smash hit The Bible. Here’s one scenario: Producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett: “Hi, we want to produce a story that appeals to all age groups. It’s has everything: love, lust, greed, war, self-sacrifice and redemption. It’s called ‘The Bible.’” Executive: “Could you repeat that? You said ‘The Bible’?” RD and MB: “Yes – we want to retell the Bible for this generation. And we think we can make money doing it. We’ve done a lot of market research —there is no competition out there.”

Since the Shermans of General Patton´s Third Army crossed the Rhine on March 22, 1945, there have been American tanks in Germany. No more, as John Vandiver of Stars and Stripes reports. The U.S. Army’s 69-year history of basing main battle tanks on German soil quietly ended last month when 22 Abrams tanks, a main feature of armored combat units throughout the Cold War, embarked for the U.S. The departure of the last M-1 Abrams tanks coincides with the inactivation of two of the Army’s Germany-based heavy brigades.

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

RUSH: Folks, I don´t know how else to categorize this. We are living in a dying country. I don´t know how else to categorize what´s happening -- 88,000 new jobs. The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. And pundits and reporters aren´t the only ones positing the "The Hillary Factor": No less than the House Democratic whip, Steny Hoyer, told BuzzFeed, “I don´t know that anybody would run against Hillary…. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

I hope all will look at a lifetime of service over some poorly chosen words.” Carson will remain as commencement speaker at Johns Hopkins,

But Clinton warned that there is still so much to do to promote women´s rights in America. "As I look at all these young women that I am privileged to work with, or know through Chelsea, and its hard to imagine turning the clock on them," Clinton said.

The Obama White House is scrambling to blame Friday’s abysmal March jobs numbers on the sequester’s trimming of the rate of growth in federal budgets that have yet to fully commence. After the Labor Department announced that a mass exodus of 663,000 workers left the U.S. workforce last month and that job creation fell 112,000 jobs short of projections, Obama’s top economic adviser Alan B. Krueger, took to the White House blog to blame the sequester: It is important to bear in mind that the March household and payroll surveys are the first monthly surveys to look

SANFORD - Trayvon Martin´s parents have settled a wrongful death claim for an amount believed to be more than $1 million against the homeowners association of the Sanford subdivision where their teenage son was killed. In the five pages of the settlement that were available for public review, the settlement amount had been marked out. Lower in the agreement, the parties specified that they would keep that amount confidential. When asked during an earlier interview whether the amount was

Beyonce and Jay-Z celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Cuba this week. The couple, who married on April 4, 2008, took in the sights of Old Havana, visited a school, dined on a rooftop terrace and strolled the fan-filled streets in their island best.(snip).The power couple declined to answer journalists´ questions about their visit to the island nation, but some outlets are reporting that the moguls are there as tourists, though that would be illegal because of the half-century embargo the U.S. has on the Communist country. However, the Miami Herald said Washington has issued special licenses for

The budget President Barack Obama will submit on April 10 will contain a proposal that would prohibit individuals from accumulating more than $3 million in Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and tax-preferred retirement accounts. According to a White House statement, the Obama administration believes the current rules allow some wealthy individuals "to accumulate many millions of dollars in these accounts, substantially more than is needed to fund reasonable levels of retirement saving." "The budget would limit an individual’s total balance across tax-preferred accounts to an amount sufficient to finance an annuity of not more than $205,000 per
