Gun Control Frenzy- Proof Democrats Are The Real Racists

There is no doubt that the Sandy Hook school massacre was an unspeakable tragedy but I doubt seriously that had the murdered children been killed at an inner-city school, Presidential Obama would be holding a conference using children as a dramatic prop for his dictatorial gun control agenda. Nor would there be hysterical politicians calling for tighter gun control laws nor column after column from leftwing writers exploiting the tragedy. The sad truth is that none of these demagogues care one bit about murdered black or Hispanic children unless the perpetrators of these crimes are white

They pretend we´re not serious about this, that we can be bullied into surrendering our God-given liberties because they don´t take God seriously. But God is there. He answers our heart-felt entreaties. He has been kind to this country of faithful believers, and forgives our lapses. Stand strong, Americans. The serpent worms through our midst. He reveals his power, the full extent of it. It is beatable.

To paraphrase a wise Ldotter: Remember those who cry loudest about the 26 who died at Sandy Hook are the same people who allow millions upon millions of children to be aborted in this nation. They don´t give a tinker´s damn about children unless it furthers their treasonous ambitions.

How many weeks elapse before the number of black children shot in Chicago equals the number of children shot in Sandy Hook? Are they worth less?

She makes a good point about race in America. However, she gets off-track with this quote, "Most members of the NRA practice stringent safety controls." Certainly, that is correct...but it is also true that most 20 year olds don´t shoot up elementary schools. The challenge is to preserve the rights of the "most" while dealing with the outliers - the few NRA members who may not practice stringent safety controls, the few 20 year olds who might shoot up elementary schools. If the standard were "most", we wouldn´t need "most" of the laws on the books, for "most" people don´t murder, rob, rape, or commit any other significant crimes.

If the Sandyhook tragedy happened at an inner city school it would have been covered and handled the same way. It´s preposterous to think otherwise. The reactions to the tragedy, however, don´t seem to follow common sense. Groupon has discontinued discounts on gun related businesses. Those discounts were all training related. Stupid or does Groupon now hate guns...period?!

If guns didn´t exist these urban savages would kill one another with some other handy weapon. This is a culture problem that needs to be addressed. Quit blaming guns, and the wrong type guns at that. Democrat push for gun control is more about disarming citizens to make their future subjugation by Democrat leftist politicians less hazardous.

Yup. And you can´t fix stupid.
FTA: I´m also waiting for the end to race-baiting pundits who shout "racist code words" whenever anybody tries to call a spade a spade. Dream on, Alicia.
Exactly. Instead of freedom from racial differences, as MLK dreamed, race has been turned into a ongoing business. No solutions to problems are really provided because that would eliminate the need for the business. Would you expect a drug dealer to drive his clients to rehabilitation clinics?
It leaves you wondering, how stupid are these people that they keep buying this garbage? Apparently, pretty darn stupid.

So many great cultures make up our unique America: construction, manufacturing, high technology, entertainment, medical, farming, ranching, the restaurant and food industry, and add to it one of the most stable of all cultures, citizen gun ownership mixing in harmoniously with all those other great cultures. Is it not a most responsible culture amongst all the other ones? We have a culture of citizen arms, and without it, there would be total chaos. Disarmed cities vividly prove that point. Our gun culture is a vital part of the true wealth of ths nation. The commie opportunists trying to take advantage of the horrible killings to smash this culture apart, are the very same people who want to kill unborn babies, who want the government to pay for the killing of unborn babies. Gun confiscators (to protect the kids) are one and the same propgandists who want to kill, abort, unborn babies. How frightening can this crime level hypocracy get?

Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood to remove Blacks and Hispanics from society in a way that was discrete and/or acceptable. It is nothing less than "Black and Hispanic Genocide". Yet the Democratic Party funds PPH and Blacks and Hispanics vote for Democrats 80% of the time. Don´t you think we need to start educating them and let them know the truth?

Several thoughts. Responsible gun ownership and responsibility saves lives. Was trained on gun safety from a young age, my training prevented me from being shot accidentally by a classmate.
Comments regarding 95% of people in Chicago being killed by handguns and minorities are dead on and can be extrapolated to most major cities. The results of a pathetically stupid and flawed culture embraced by minorities.
How cool would a webpage be that cataloged the number of minority youths killed by other minority youths in major US cities? Maybe call it the race to 26? Insensitive of me I know but,,,,,,,

NYC announced today that it is on track for 100 subway deaths this year. Given the gun control advocates´ logic, shouldn´t we be demanding "subway control" (along with knives, fists and clubs)? After all, that is almost four times the death toll from Sandy Hook.
The sad fact is that slave owners denied slaves their second amendment rights because they KNEW that an armed man could easily become a freed man, so there is another racist aspect of the demonrats´ obsession with gun control. Wake up, Black America, and quit voting for these people who continually thumb their noses at you.

Let´s see... The Founders wanted citizens to be armed to prevent tyranny by a federal government gone wild. Now a federal government gone wild wants to ban the weapons the citizens would use (military style weapons). Hmmm... I know I´m not that smart but even I can figure this out. There´s a reason they don´t care about handguns in Chicago.

There is no question that Dems are more proficient than GOP in manipulating numbers. They wail about all the "children" killed by guns, thoughtfully leaving out the fact that they count anyone up to age 19 as a child. And that the vast majority of victims are bigger than the police who work the case, are black or Hispanic , own the guns illegally, and were killed by other black or Hispanic thugs. We need to hire and listen to some really good PR people of our own!

That the Democrats are the Real Racists and cover it up by pointing the finger at the Republicans. I don´t care what they call me. I know what I know. But look at their records of minority Governors and other representatives. The proof is in the pudding. If only the media was!

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka criticized President Obama’s FY 2014 budget for not promoting job growth while hurting seniors and federal workers. “The president sent Jack Lew to Europe to talk about, to chide them for austerity budgets; they should be investing in growth and things of that sort. It undermines our credibility when our budget here is an austerity budget.” Trumka specifically mentioned several areas of the budget he opposes, including its change to the Consumer Price Index formula used to calculate cost of living adjustments for Social Security payments.

I subscribe to the view that barring something truly unforeseeable, the Democratic nomination in 2016 is Hillary’s for the taking. There is no second Barack Obama out there to take the nomination away from her. In fact, the non-Hillary Democratic bench is pathetically weak. Hillary’s many controversies are mostly ancient history, and mostly the fault of her husband, and are unlikely to derail a general election bid. Rather, Hillary’s weakness is her time as Secretary of State, an abysmal performance which has left us weaker internationally than ever before.

It seems very odd that President Obama has made gun control the signature issue of his second term, so far. He can’t possibly achieve any significant legislation; a few tweaks to the background check system, maybe, but there is no chance of getting any meaningful gun control through the House. The House Democrats aren’t even trying. So it also seems strange that all eyes are on the Senate, where Harry Reid will unveil some sort of gun legislation–no one knows what, exactly–on Thursday. The party’s left-wing base is lining up behind the bill, sight unseen.

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md.--The Navy´s top officer unveiled new technology Monday that allows ships to shoot down drones or other vehicles for about the cost of a pack of gum. The USS Dewey tested an onboard laser weapons system in July 2012, in which it successfully shot down a test drone. Navy Adm. Jonathan Greenert, the chief of Naval Operations, screened video of the event while speaking at the Sea-Air-Space expo. The Laser Weapon System or LaWS only costs roughly $1 per shot and could be employed against fast attack ships or even be used in the future for missile defense.

A New York judge yesterday blasted federal “sequestration” cuts, calling it “stunning” that they could force him to delay the start of a terrorism trial for Osama bin Laden’s son-in-law. Manhattan federal Judge Lewis Kaplan appeared flabbergasted when a defense lawyer for Sulaiman Abu Ghaith said mandatory work furloughs would make it “very difficult to be ready” for trial by September. Kaplan began calling the situation “ironic” before noting that was “not exactly the right word.” “It’s extremely troublesome to contemplate the possibility of a case of this nature being delayed by sequestration,” Kaplan said.

Over the weekend, the Saddleback Valley Community Church announced the sad news that Pastor Rick Warren‘s youngest son, Matthew, committed suicide at the age of 27, after a long struggle with mental illness. On Monday, Megyn Kelly‘s panel took on some of the “despicable” reaction that followed — questioning why the pastor isn’t afforded basic compassion by some of his critics. Noting the “shocking” and “disgusting” vitriol directed at the pastor following the news, Kelly declined to “give a voice to the haters.” Father Jonathan Morris, a Fox News contributor, agreed, deeming the attacks “ridiculous,” “tasteless,” and simply “very sad.”

Bernard Anderson, a pathbreaking African-American economist, understands the importance of rhetoric. He was up front at the Lincoln Memorial when Martin Luther King Jr. gave his historic “I Have a Dream” speech in 1963. And he was in the audience on the Howard University campus in 1965 to hear President Johnson deliver a grim view of the state of black America and declare war on “past injustice and present prejudice.” So Anderson had high hopes as he sat at home in Pennsylvania watching President Obama deliver his second Inaugural Address this year.

In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

Although the first votes on gun -control legislation have yet to be cast, by some measures the National Rifle Association has already won. Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. The NRA claims that the president’s efforts have triggered a fundraising surge and boosted its membership from 4 million to nearly 5 million.

Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius conceded Monday that implementing the Affordable Care Act has been more complicated and frustrating than the Obama administration expected, largely due to Republicans who have opposed the law´s state-based exchanges and Medicaid expansion. "The politics has been relentless and that continues," Sebelius said. "There was some hope that once the Supreme Court ruled in July, and then once an election occurred there would be a sense that, ´This is the law of the land, let´s get on board, let´s make this work.´"
