Valerie Jarrett: ´You´re Going
to See the President Traveling
Around the Country More´

Cybercast News Service, by Susan Jones

After two years of frequent flying and constant campaigning that took him all around the country, President Obama isn´t finished: "You´re going to see the president traveling around the country more," Senior White House Adviser Valerie Jarrett told MSNBC´s "Morning Joe" on Monday, Inauguration Day. Host Joe Scarborough asked Jarrett how President Obama plans to avoid the difficulties that have beset other presidents in their second terms. "Well," replied Jarrett, "you have to stay focused, and you have to develop an agenda that reflects the priorities of the American people. I think the president has done that.

Why?? It appears that all the serious problems in Washington are solved so he is going on the road. s/o How in the world do we survive the next four years.

OP: "How in the world do we survive the next four years"?

By remembering how important Liberty is; how important our heritage is; how important our children are; that in the end, there´s nowhere else to go; that "life" is a testing-place, not a resting-place; that "this, too, shall pass"; that if necessary, we look right in the eye of those who throw up their hands and say "Get out of the way -- I have work to do."

Most of all, by making the choice ours, not his!

President Barack Obama will be hitting the road more in the coming year, according to one of his top advisers.

In an interview that aired Sunday on NBC´s "Meet The Press," Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett said the president was concerned that he´s spending too much time in Washington and plans to spend more time mixing and mingling with the public.

Oh and he´ll be playing more golf, eating more lobster and going on more vacations. Anything to spend our money.

The military judge, Col. Tara Osborn, ordered the court cleared so she could conduct a hearing on the matter. It remains to be seen how the motion filed by Lt. Col Kris Poppe and two other lawyers on Hasan´s standby counsel will impact the high-profile trial on its second day. Poppe, Hasan´s former lead defense attorney, has long expressed misgivings

Federal officials are formally fixing a glitch in ObamaCare that lawmakers worried would effectively cut salaries for congressional staffers. Under a proposed new rule released on Wednesday, the federal government will be able to contribute to 11,000 lawmakers’ and staffers’ healthcare plans. That would close a loophole in the healthcare law that lawmakers worried could lead to a “brain drain” of talent and skill from Capitol Hill to private positions offering better salaries and more generous benefits packages. The amount of money the government can contribute to congressional staffers’ healthcare is no more than they would have received under their

Critics of the president are convinced that Barack Obama will do lasting damage to the U.S. I doubt it. Obama came to power in the third year of large Democratic congressional majorities. In his first referendum, he lost the House and he may soon lose the Senate; in other words, there followed a somewhat normal reaction against a majority party. Obama’s popularity rating is well below 50%, despite an obsequious media and a brilliantly negative billion-dollar campaign that long ago turned Mitt Romney into a veritable elevator-using, equestrian-marrying, canine-hating monster. Over the last week, there has been a lot of buzz about a supposed CIA angle to the Benghazi story. Specifically, it has been alleged that a substantial number of CIA employees were on the ground in Benghazi, carrying out a mission that involved rounding up Libyan weapons and transferring them to rebels in Syria. Further, it has been reported that the CIA has leaned on its employees not to cooperate with Congressional investigations or the media, and it has been suggested that the CIA’s role in Benghazi may be related to the al Qaeda
