After Tiller: Meet the only four
doctors in the U.S. who still perform
third-trimesterabortions despite
constant threats to their lives

Only four doctors in the U.S. offer third-trimester abortions, knowing they risk their own lives every day to carry out such controversial procedures. These doctors are the subject of a documentary screened at the Sundance film festival last weekend, forty years after the legalization of abortion in the U.S. and four years after Dr Tiller. Physician George Tiller was a prominent practitioner of late-term abortions shot dead by an extremist in 2009. The documentary After Tiller is named for him and focuses on the few remaining doctors who perform abortions in the third trimester of a pregnancy. The Supreme Court granted states the right to limit abortions in the final three months of a pregnancy.

OP you are absolutely right. They should be ashamed to show their faces. They are truly spawns of the devil. How they could perform such a vile, murderous act is beyond me.

The majority of these operations are not medically necessary, nor are they to kill a defective child. The majority of children killed in these abortions are perfectly viable human beings.

This is barbarism.

His estimated net income was estimated at $1.2 million per year.

Obviously they have wealth. I´m guessing younger, pretty wives too. They probably wanted fame too, but probably didn´t expect to get the sort of fame this story will give them.

Next to shooting the Pope or Billy Graham, I´m guessing these four are pretty much at the top of the list for not having to wait in line when they die and go to Hell. Satan will be waiting at the doors of Hell, and let them right on in as his beloved minions on Earth...

If lawmakers in Springfield thought they maneuvered beyond the treacherous topic of pension reform with their December votes to begin rescuing the state´s floundering pension system, they thought wrong. Chicago, with its enormously underfunded pension plans, is next in line. Three years into his mayoral term — after campaigning on a promise to fix pensions — Rahm Emanuel finally is ready to file legislation that would reduce the city´s dangerously unfunded pension liabilities for municipal workers and laborers. Emanuel says he has a deal with those employees´ unions that would bring two of the city´s four funds for retirees closer

Denver hosted the Democratic National Convention in 2008 and the first presidential debate during the 2012 race. Colorado Republican party chairman Ryan Call told 7NEWS Friday that the key downtown venues were at the center of a plan to bring the 2016 RNC to Denver. Call says under the proposal, the Pepsi Center will serve as the principal event site -- hosting key speeches and the nominating process. Election Day is almost nine months off. But right now Republicans seem almost certain to hold the House of Representatives and are likely to take the Senate. Which raises the inevitable question: How might the GOP seize defeat from the jaws of victory? Two occasions stand out, two obvious obstacles ahead that could lead to disastrous Republican stumbles, two pitfalls on the path to a happy GOP Election Day. Republicans are pretty good at falling into such pits. One is the increase in the debt limit, which Congress will have to deal with in the next month or two. The other

DENVER - Amendment 66, the K-12 education funding measure, has failed in Colorado. Even in Democratic strongholds of Boulder and Denver counties, the measure was failing or barely even. Amendment 66 constitutionally and statutorily would alter Colorado law to change how the state funds education. Firstly, it raises the state individual income tax rate from 4.63 percent to 5 percent on the first $75,000 of taxable income. That is equivalent to $472.5 if you earn exactly $75,000 in taxable income per year. If you earn more, any income beyond the $75,000 is taxed at a rate of 5.9 percent.

Thousands of Californians are discovering what Obamacare will cost them — and many don´t like what they see. These middle-class consumers are staring at hefty increases on their insurance bills as the overhaul remakes the healthcare market. Their rates are rising in large part to help offset the higher costs of covering sicker, poorer people who have been shut out of the system for years. Although recent criticism of the healthcare law has focused on website glitches and early enrollment snags, experts say sharp price increases for individual policies have the greatest potential to erode public support for President Obama´s
