Dress rehearsal for 2016? Bill and Hillary
are all smiles at Inauguration as Democrats
hope for another Clinton presidency

Daily Mail [UK], by Meghan Keneally

Original Article

Former President Bill Clinton and his wife Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were warmly welcomed when they walked on to the platform for President Obama’s inauguration. Their entrance may be more than just a show, however, as it could turn into a practice run for Hillary should she run for office in 2016. In addition to renewing the widely-reported speculation that she is the most likely Democratic presidential candidate after Mr Obama finishes his second term, it was also only her second public appearance since her health scare. Mrs Clinton released pictures when she went back to work

#10 is on the money-- America has allowed the sanctity of life to disappear, the rule of law to become a laughingstock, and we are now half amusement park, half patriots fighting for what we once knew was that shining city on a hill.

God is sovereign, and He allows--even ordains the fall of great nations that turn from Him--not unlike the Jews who were swept into exile, eventually dispersed to foreign lands.

Mann cannot turn it around, only God in His mercy and grace if we truly deserve it and if it is in His sovereign will.

There ya go-- a mini sermon for blue Monday!

Seems most people have a greater hope in the political system than I do. Each passing day brings even more despair in what this country has done to itself than any future hope the system could bring. These creatures dominating are politics now are just a reflection of our polluted culture and the indoctrination of our latest generations. This is my heartfelt opinion. All the trouble started back in 2000 when George W. Bush, through incredible alignment of the stars, shot to the top of the heap with very little cred compared to Dad, who labored for years in the trenches.

And what did George W. Bush do with that golden opportunity? He sought to solidify the legacy of George W. Bush rather than groom a successor, which would have helped his party and the nation.

Don´t get me wrong. I have read Dick Cheney´s book and consider him an outstanding American. But he was not an understudy, waiting and learning for the day when the presidency would be his.

Why should the election of 2008 have been a contest between two newcomers to the national stage? The GOP could have had a seasoned veep out there. But, no. And now we live with the result of that decision.

Four years in politics is a very long time. Biden and Hillary Clinton are already looking old and no doubt they will be a lot more older in four years. Besides neither one of them is a shoe in because the Democrats are apt to come up with an Obama clone. You have to remember that in order to win national elections the Democrats need a big black vote. If some Obama clone were to run and then get knocked out of the nomination by either Biden or Clinton in the Democrat primaries, there is a good chance that enough black voters would feel slighted and stay home on election day resulting in the Democrats loosing the general election. So you have to figure that from now on the Democrats are always going to need a black candidate on their ticket.

Reply 28 - Posted by: billa, 1/21/2013 8:44:18 PM     (No. 9131163)

I fear that despite her appearance, age and now, recurring illnesses (real or imagined), that she will receive the nomination, and likely win to have another "historic" election of the first woman pres., cumulative white guilt, black debt for electing BO + continuation of exploding entitlements, celbrity status of her husband (liberals, feminists, college students, illegal immigrants, are itching to have him back).

Even though Biden, as VP is supposed to get the nod, I believe that the more powerful Dems will be way too nervous to let him loose on his own to completely make a fool of himself and the party.

We cannot assume that Biden will serve full term. Health issues, for ex, could lead to his resignation in 2015. Person picked to replace him would then be logical front runner for president. Could be Hillary, Andrew Cuomo, Corey Booker or fake squaw, Elizabeth Warren. Not sure Senate would confirm the Mooch if Obama nominated her.

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.

The US defence department has delayed an intercontinental ballistic missile test that had been planned for next week at an air force base in California amid mounting tensions with North Korea, according to a senior official. Defence secretary Chuck Hagel reportedly decided to put off the long-planned Minuteman 3 test until next month because of concerns the launch could be misinterpreted and exacerbate the Korean crisis. "This is the logical, prudent and responsible course of action to take," the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. The test was not connected to the ongoing annual

The deaths took place sometime between Thursday afternoon and evening by someone who had some type of relationship with the victims, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office said. The bodies were discovered Friday outside Holbrook, a town of about 400 people just north of the Idaho-Utah state line. Authorities said a 2-month-old was found under the arm of one of the victims — 27-year-old Yavette Chivon Carter.

NEW YORK -- In case Americans want to scarf down their fast-food even faster, KFC is stripping the bones out of its chicken. The fast-food chain says it´s introducing deep-fried boneless chicken pieces on April 14 as an alternative to its traditional breast, thigh and drumstick pieces. The new offering reflects the growing popularity of nuggets and strips that are easier to eat on the go, as well as Americans´ seemingly endless desire for more convenient foods. KFC says nearly four out of five servings of chicken sold in the U.S. are now boneless. Based on customer trends

Climate change is expanding sea ice in Antarctica, a paradoxical finding that appears to be the result of melting glaciers, according to a new study. As freshwater glaciers melt, cold water sinks into the ocean, keeping the sea colder than it would otherwise be. The fresh water is less dense than seawater, so it floats on the top layer of the ocean, which in turn stays cooler. That makes it easier for the seas to freeze again in the Antarctic fall and winter, scientists say. This negative feedback is expected to continue, they added. Sea ice levels

No more war and Peeps, please. Some people (Peeple?) find it amusing to torment or mutilate Peeps, the sugarcoated fluorescent marshmallow Easter candies in the form of chicks and bunnies (or additional shapes during other holidays). Consider, for example, the sport of Peeps jousting, in which someone places two Peeps chicks (the bunnies don’t work for this game) in a microwave with toothpicks in their chests. As the Peeps heat up, they expand and appear to be jousting with each other. The candy that stabs the other first wins. Both Peeps end up as gooey globs.
