Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said the U.S. Senate will only fulfill it’s legal obligation to pass a budget if the budget, which has not been passed since 2009, includes new tax increases. “We need a budget,” Schumer conceded on Meet the Press. “It’s a great opportunity to get us some more revenues to help in part deal with sequestration and deal with the debt issue . . . Go for it Chuck. Your base is still reeling from the increases in Social Security after you promised no increase in taxes on the middle class. We are all confidant you will protect your rich donors.
The House should pass the bill denying salary to Congress if they don´t pass a budget. Pass another bill putting teeth into the requirement that the Senate pass a budget and watch the Dems squirm.

They can put whatever they want in their budget. They then have to defend it to their constituents.
I´d love for them to go for big fat tax increases, and keep spending on ridicuolous things like turtle walkways and big parties for the GSA.
What the Republicans need to do is talk about what the Senate is doing, and what they want to do, and let voters see the difference. I don´t know that the Republicans understand, however, that they are in a battle of ideas.

None of the TRUE information is getting disseminated to the general public - those ´low information voters´. The only thing reported is the democrat lies, ´it´s the Republican´s fault´.
My epiphany occurred in 2000 - the democrats specifically wanted the votes of people who were too stupid to check the right box or push a chad next to the democrat´s name.

OK. We´ll let you repeal the $76 Billion of Crony Capitalist "Tax Extenders" that you just "French Kissed" your supporters with in the Fiscal Cliff Bill. They are trying to do this on a one to one basis when the President initially said three to one cuts to revenue. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church.
