I can´t find a story on the "Support Assault Firearms Elimination and Protect our Representatives Act." You remember -- that´s the one where those super-effective "This is a Gun-Free Zone" signs go up on the Capital Building in place of depending on the false sense of security some mistakenly find in the Capital Police and the Secret Service´s armed officers.

It seems every question the dims are confronted with involves some sort of federal spending. This means people in Texas will be paying for people in Conn to have their guns destroyed. The flip side of a "tax credit" is a new tax on everyone who doesn´t turn them in. If they can find them, of course. Which leads to how to find them....

Actually, if you read her stupid bill, you will see that the tax credit applies to the tax IN THIS ACT! So, it appears that if you turn in your weapon, you don´t have to pay the tax she will charge those who don´t turn them in.
