Fraud was marginal and occurred in blue states that are solidly D. Reality is that Romney was a feckless and incompetent candidate and the majority of voters knew it in their bones.

Unity is good. Working together is good. Greatly improving PR is good.
Raising the debt limit a little is good. It will help to keep this issue front and center - until there are real spending cuts.

My takeaway from the article is continued pessimism about reining in Democrat spending, and prevailing in the 2014 elections. Just more "go along" mentality. More than ever, a new conservative party is needed that will vote with the Pubs when they´re right, and stand up when they´re not.

It´s an interesting read.
Nothing wrong with it.
They meet like this at the start of each new Congress, as I recall.
There are things that can be done with the debt limit, etc., and the article covers that.
Realistically, you can only do so much when you own only the House.
You have the WH, the Senate and the media against you.
Play for the long term, then.
Stay in the game in order to be in position to win the 2014 midterms.
Own the House and Senate by Jan. 2015.
Get the WH back in Jan. 2017.
We can own it all again.
Krauthammer has pointed out that the remedy is to win the next election.
Bamster has shot himself in the foot with his riling of the NRA and gun owners.
Be thankful Bammie has aroused his biggest enemies.
Second terms are historically very ugly for incumbent presidents and their party
in Congress.
We can beat this very ugly man with a nice big Ugly Stick.
Looking forward to the 2014 midterms.
Everyone is going to hate Obamacare next year.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Newtown killer Adam Lanza may have launched his murder spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School as an “act of revenge,” the Daily News has learned. A close friend of Lanza’s mother told The News that the troubled boy was a target of relentless bullying when he attended the Connecticut school years ago. “I think Adam felt betrayed by the school and this was his act of revenge,” said Marvin LaFontaine, a friend of Nancy Lanza’s. “Nancy told me he was being picked on at school.
