| A lawyer has been suspended after admitting to an affair with a client - and billing her for time they spent having sex, it was revealed last week. Attorney Thomas Lowe had a six-month relationship with the woman he was representing in a divorce case. The 58-year-old, who is married, began an affair with his client after complimenting on her appearance and talking about her sex life. The pair embarked on an affair and met up on numerous occasions to have sex. Documents obtained from Lowe´s office in Burnsville, Minnesota revealed that on the dates he was having

This billing falls under the category in legal circles, translated from Latin -- "Nice work, if you can get it."
Actually, it´s called "billing and cooing."

I don´t know who said this, but it´s true:
Lawyers don´t think lawyer jokes are funny Non-lawyers don´t think lawyer joke are jokes
Our legal system is run by lawyers just like this guy. It shouldn´t be any surprise that our world is nearly devoid of justice.

There is nothing funny about this story. The client had a history of depression and abuse and he took advantage of her. He also had a previous record for cocaine. The client revealed his abuse when she was hospitalized in a suicide attempt. Bill Clinton set the standard for abuse of someone in a vulnerable state in their care. Monica has never really been able to put her life together, get a job or get married. both are soul thieves.

Both said hey, how ya doin, have a good Thanksgiving. Imagine our surprise when our next billing came and there was a charge for that accidental meeting in the dairy section.

They´ve fallen through the cracks: millions of jobless or underemployed New Yorkers whose daily struggle is to find work and food. They certainly don´t show up in the 9.1 percent unemployment rate for the city, since they have exhausted those benefits. But the number of city residents on food stamps is on pace to jump this year from just above 1 million in 2007 to a breathtaking 2 million sometime this summer. That’s equals almost 50 percent of the city´s labor force today, which, according to the latest government calculations, shrank by nearly 200,000 people since 2011. There´s also 176,000

New York — Federal mortgage payment relief has been extended up to one year for more than 200,000 homeowners whose houses were damaged by Superstorm Sandy. U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan announced the extension for homeowners with Federal Housing Administration-insured loans on Friday. A previous mortgage payment extension for federally-backed home loans was set to expire on April 30. About 286,000 homeowners with FHA-insured loans were affected by the late October storm, with nearly 96,000 in New York. Donovan said the 12-month extension was meant to help homeowners still struggling to rebuild avoid foreclosure.

Nashville, Tenn. - A proposal that would dock the welfare payments of parents whose children fail school is dead. After about a 40-minute debate on the Senate floor Thursday, Republican Senator Sponsor Stacey Campfield decided to pull the bill so it can be studied over the summer. Both Republicans and Democrats expressed concern about the legislation, which sought to cut Temporary Assistance for Needy Families benefits by 30 percent if a child fails to advance to the next grade. The money could be earned back if a parent attends two conferences with teachers, takes parenting classes or enrolls the child in

Times Square is crawling with entrepreneurs who dress up as pop-culture characters and try to make a few bucks posing for photos with visitors to the big city. More importantly for the November 2013 season finale in Pensacola, their practices in October are canceled too. Three Americans were killed in Monday´s attack and more than 170 others were injured. "Anytime bombs are used to target innocent civilians, it is an act of terror," Obama said,

As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing — the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity — the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nation’s collective reaction to the attacks. That’s because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.
