Guess what two words are not in the US Constitution? We´ve got a winner! Yes, the two words are "executive order."
But here are 41 words that are in the US Constitution [Article VI]:
"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution...." [Emphasis added.]
Conclusion? Any covered Federal officer who acts to enforce an Executive Order that infringes on the right to keep and bear arms is in violation of his sworn oath.
So -- Tyranny? Or Liberty?

I was at Academy today, there were a few boxes being put out on the shelves, which were mostly empty, and the ammo aisle was packed. These were not trashy folks - they were lawyers, teachers, doctors (actually, doctors´ wives, calling back to hubbies about what was available on the shelf and in bulk). This guy has no idea who his opposition is on this issue.

19 EO´s to protect dem congress critters. Refusing to negotiate with congress violates the constitution. Never passing a budget violates the constitution. Sending arms to the Muslim Brotherhood is illegal. Forcing retailers to sell guns to Mexican Cartels is illegal. Intentionally sending a US ambassador into harms way is illegal. Sending troops to Africa before congressional review is not constitutional.

If there was a reporter with half a brain, they would be asking BO and Biden one simple question to each of the EOs..."How does this proposed "Order" prevent or deter gun violence and in particular gun violence of the sort in Sandy Hook, Gabby Giffords and Columbine?" And, "Where is statistical, empirical, forensic proof that these "Orders" will prevent or deter such gun violence?"
Since the answer to the former query is, "It doesn´t." and the answer to the latter is, "We have none." Then the next query should be then, "Are you simply proposing the "Orders" to make you and the Democrat base feel better?"

Heard from a friend today about this...
he says he prefers the tyranny of the EOs, as anything done via legislation would simply provide cover to Obama & Co.
Given that the political potato is too hot, it´s probably no surprise that they´re taking the EO approach. Are they looking to foment violence? Why not? They´ll use the crisis to do who knows what... martial law? Suspending elections? History repeats, ladies and gents. History repeats.

William Strickland waited for his grandfather to step out of his South Side home to take his paratransit ride to a kidney dialysis appointment early March 2, authorities said Saturday — then stood behind the 72-year-old man, shot him six times in the back and stole his wallet, leaving him to die just steps from his home. Prosecutors said Saturday that Strickland, 19, used the money he took from his grandfather, who also was named William Strickland, to pay for new gym shoes, a cellphone and tattoos. The teen had no criminal history but was an admitted gang member, they said.

CORTEZ, Colo. - A school board in western Colorado has decided to allow the district superintendent and a principal to carry firearms onto school grounds. The Cortez Journal reports the seven-member board that oversees schools in Dolores County voted unanimously Wednesday to allow the principal at Dove Creek High School and the superintendent to double as security officers, provided they complete a concealed carry course and receive a permit from the county sheriff´s office. Santa Ana Unified, the only Orange County school district with its own police force, says that certain officers are trained to use department-issued assault rifles, but none of the high-powered guns or other weapons is stored on campuses. DENVER - Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper gave a candid comment to the New York Times about his wife, from whom he is separated. The reporter says the Governor told him Helen Thorpe mentioned if Hickenlooper wanted to run for President, she offered to stay married and figure it out. Thorpe attended the State of the State address this month and was thanked by the Governor for staying. He said she was a beacon of light to him and their son.
