5000 show up for free housing. Wonder how many of them would show up for a job interview?

Drudge has video with the story. Not all the people were black, one black lady said she came last night after work, apparently many of the people were elderly and/or disabled. I´m sure it was young Obama voters who caused the disturbance, but rather than show their innate violence it shows more the incompetence of the government in the way this was planned. Take care of the elderly and the genuinely disabled first next time, then let the parasites have what´s left.

No one is making fun of genuine disabled. They are mocking a government that is fostering dependency impossible to support. Single moms -especially the Baby Mammas- are being preyed upon by irresponsible males and a dem Party that wants to keep them dependent upon the government. Julia. As to the women with the oxygen tent- shouldn´t she have an appointment for housing? A cattle call is no way to distribute housing- it should be based upon age, health and need.

Judge Judy does cases from time to time where the plaintiff is receiving section 8 housing, and is suing various individuals for for non payment of rent. (section 8 pays the rent directly to the landlord. And it is illegal to rent out rooms in section 8 housing.) And Judge Judy gives an angry lecture to the plaintiff, under these circumstances, explaining that she (usually) is stealing money from the taxpayers. Other cases will have the defendant boyfriend being sued for various bills. Same deal.. illegal.

They should screen them by how many times they voted for BO in the last election.
Voted only once? Back of the line. Voted two times, next to the back. Runners up for top spot could be sorted by things like whether they used one or more names and how many precincts.
So if you voted for BO 7 times using 3 names it counts less than voting 7 times using 2 name ´cuz that´s a waste of non-maxxed names. Runners up could get parole credits for their next crimes etc.

The population in MI is what you think it is, but let´s not be so cynical. We are suppose to be Christians.
There is a new poverty in this country like we have not seen for many years.
Some days I visit a prayer site and the situation in this country is bad. There are many praying for jobs, any job, or praying they aren´t laid off, or they can´t keep their small business open any longer. Others are in fear of being homeless because they can´t pay increasing rent or being foreclosed. They have used up all of their resounces for medical bills and/or basic needs. Many can´t afford to repair their vehicles to drive to work because they have been unemployed for so long. Some have to live with relatives that have no room for them. It´s very sad reading those annonomous prayers. They aren´t asking for handouts online.
The elderly and disabled cannot manage on Social Security anymore with increased costs of everything. Unfortunately, single mothers move to the first of the line- just because.

The Justice Department said Holder wasn´t chosen and that he won´t be called back. The U.S. has been denied direct access to the only publicly known suspect in custody in connection with the Benghazi terror attack, Fox News has learned, with U.S. interrogators still unable to sit in the same room as the Egypt-held prisoner to ask questions. Abu Ahmed, also known as Mohammed Jamal, is suspected of establishing Islamist training camps in Eastern Libya where militants who took part in the Sept. 11 Benghazi terrorist attack were able to train. Ahmed is not suspected of directly taking part in the attack which left four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, dead.

For the past five months, the Republican message on foreign policy message has been defined by a single word: Benghazi. Ever since the deadly September 11 attack on the U.S. compound in that Libyan city, Republicans have obsessed over the episode. Mitt Romney made Benghazi a favorite talking point in the 2012 campaign home stretch. More recently, Republicans have invoked Benghazi to shoot down one would-be cabinet nominee, Susan Rice, and delay two others, Chuck Hagel and John Brennan. They have dragged a parade of administration officials, including Hillary Clinton

TIMBUKTU, Mali - One of the last things the bearded fighters did before leaving this city was to drive to the market where traders lay their carpets out in the sand. The al-Qaida extremists bypassed the brightly-colored, high-end synthetic floor coverings and stopped their pickup truck in front of a man selling more modest mats woven from desert grass, priced at $1.40 apiece. There they bought two bales of 25 mats each, and asked him to bundle them on top of the car, along with a stack of sticks.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
