Just think - it wasn´t so long ago that Interior Secretary James Watt tried to cancel the Beach Boys - THE BEACH BOYS - from playing at a D.C. Independence Day event because, in his words they would attract "the wrong element". Of course, President Reagan fixed that (Watt) problem in a hurry.

Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) said Wednesday that the incidence of pregnancy caused by rape is "very low," prompting criticism from Democrats who said the GOP is waging a "war on women." Franks made the comment during a committee mark-up of his late-term abortion ban bill, which is expected pass the House next week.
