40th March for Life crowds
could top Obama Inauguration

Washington Examiner, by Paul Bedard

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/10/2013 6:16:28 PM

The biggest crowds ever for the annual March for Life protest are expected to hit Washington January 25 as hundreds of thousands attend the 40th anniversary rally to protest the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion, according to organizers. The march, expected to attract tens of thousands more than the record 400,000 two years ago, could rival President Obama´s Inauguration Day crowd, propelled by the growing youth support of efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade, which the president has embraced with open arms. Obama drew 1.8 million in 2009. Just 600,000 are expected January 21st.

Comments:
Now that is a beautiful thing! The crowds for the Won´s inauguration may be smaller, but we´re still stuck with that malignant narcissist for the next four years. How depressing.

Of course. When the choice is between the lives of the unborn and the death of our republic, the choice is easy for most Americans.

The news media figured out many years ago that they could ignore this march and the great numbers attending and it would be like it never happened to the rest of the nation. The msm motto is "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, there is no sound." Conversely, if 40 people show for O´s re-coronation, the numbers would be inflated to thousands and the coverage of the royal family would be non-stop.

If the media covers it at all, they will vastly inflate the pro-abortion on demand counter demonstrators. During 2000´s long count a friend showed up at a "Sore Loserman" rally outside CNN in Atlanta. There were 50 of them and 3 pro Gore demonstrators. She sent me her pics and the screen caps from CNN´s website. CNN placed the three Gore people in front, angled it so you couldn´t read the signs in the background and presented it as a more people for Gore!

I bet ya $5 bucks the honey boo boo´s don´t know anything about this event. Like I have said before, non-reported a story, is as bad as false reporting.

Oh, another thought, I wonder if any military folks plan to march in full uniform during this?? Would be interesting to see if they experience any flak, considering the DoD had NO problem with military marching in that gay parade thingy last year....

Just a warning to anyone that is going to show up on Jan 25. One of the ways that the government is slowing down the rallies in DC is by not allowing the organizers to provide port-o-potties. Take precautions.

Certainly seems like a lot of hypocrisy! Against abortion but vote into office those that support it.

The number of young people attending the MFL is amazing to see. I used to pull my daughter out of school to attend. Her Catholic school had no problem with it and some years I took several of her classmates as well. She carried a sign that read, "I´m adopted. Both my moms chose life". Lots of kids wear tee shirts that say, "I survived Roe v Wade". If you can go, please do. Especially this year - it will help to lift you out of your post election funk.

My Pastor, John MacArthur, LA, had several strong messages before the election... "It is not politics, it is Biblical."

Speaking of Pastors, ours in East Hampton wrote a diatribe against the NRA and lawful gun owners in the bulletin two weeks ago. When I got the latest Susan B. Anthony announcement about the number of abortions that Planned Parenthood performed in 2011, the number was 334,000, I forwarded that email to the pastor and our Bishop and said I hoped to see a similar message in the bulletin excoriating the abortion industry, parishioners that support abortion and president Obama. I told the Bishop I expected to see a similar letter from him. Wanna take bets on whether that will happen? Talk about hypocrisy. It starts with left wing priests and Bishops.

Wow. Am SO encouraged by this article... and also by this Thread. You guys rock!! Mega kudos to #17 & her daughter + friends. Hope others pick up her ideas.

Be sure to read the article. Example: "One critical sign of how big the march will be: Hotels pre-booked for participants sold out a month ago while many Washington hotels report lukewarm interest for rooms during the Inauguration. In 2009, hotels sold out months in advance as an excited nation readied to welcome the first black president."

How about people attending from across the U.S., first contact their hometown newspaper, & TV/radio shows, and get a press pass to cover the march with photos & a personal viewpoint?

What would Andrew Breitbart do???

Following up last weekend’s official White House photo of President Obama talking on the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the administration today released another phone photo, this one of a conversation with French President Francois Hollande. This one comes from Key Largo, Fla., where Obama is spending the weekend before returning to Washington to host a reception Monday for the 2012 and 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Champions before moving on to fundraising events Tuesday. “The President welcomed the strong, unified stance of the United States and the European Union regarding Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine, including

Two days after a shocking defeat, liberals are still grousing about the Senate spiking the nomination of former NAACP Legal Fund Director Debo Adegbile to be head of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. What really burns them up is not just that Republicans successfully filibustered one of President Obama’s choices for a government post but that six Democrats joined with them. But rather than take responsibility for putting forward a controversial figure who was sure to provoke bitter opposition from both sides of the aisle, liberals are reverting to form by blaming their defeat on conservative demagoguery and racism. WASHINGTON — In late December, President Barack Obama´s new legislative affairs team sent him more than a dozen recommendations for ways to improve his strained relations with Capitol Hill. The president responded with a few ideas of his own, including a request for more social events with lawmakers at the White House. It was a surprising suggestion from a president who has done little socializing with lawmakers of either party and has dismissed the notion that sharing a cocktail or a meal with members of Congress is a prescription for easing Washington gridlock. One of the most seismic changes in American politics over the last decade has been the emergence of a sharp generational split among the electorate. The Democratic Party owes its success in the last two presidential elections almost entirely to overwhelming support among the very young, which has overcome continued conservatism among older voters. The Pew Research Institute has dominated the field of exploring the ideological cleavages among different generations. And its latest survey shows again how the liberalism of the youngest voting cohort, millennials, remains firm, and likely to continue to recast the electorate. A few charts from the survey
