Pastor Backs Out of Obama
Inauguration Over Previous

ABC News, by Jonathan Karl

Rev. Louie Giglio, who had been announced as the pastor to give the benediction at the presidential inauguration, has now pulled himself out of the ceremony, after criticism of his previous anti-gay comments and actions, sources confirmed to ABC News. Giglio, who is now Pastor at Passion City Church in Georgia and his role at Obama’s second inauguration was first announced Tuesday. But the liberal website Thinkprogress reported Wednesday on audio of Giglioi delivering a sermon in the mid-1990s in which he said homosexuality is a sin and advocated gay “recovery.” Here is one passage from Giglio’s mid-90s

Comments:
Ahh yes, liberals are so tolerant of free speech. s/o This is so very tiresome. So much for a president who represents all the people.

So very hard to pander to all the "special" interests groups. Whats a liberal to do, when one group dislikes another group.

The humanity! A minister who speaks of the biblical notion of sin, and of renouncing sin. You can´t have such swine speaking in public, can you?

Also, one must laugh at liberals who have to go back as much as half a century to smear someone like Romney, and almost twenty years for this guy, but people are crazy for wanting to know facts about their president.

"Giglio" is Italian for "Lily" - - so the man is Louie Lily.

Sounds like he should be on the other side of the gay controversy - - or is he already?

What Obama was asking this conservative pastor to do is the same thing he got Rick Warren to do for him: to give cover to his anti-Christian administration so the brain dead sheep and weak kneed pastors could continue to fool themselves to thinking they were still considered citizens of this country by its rulers. I´m glad he´s out. He never should have volunteered in the first place. Let all "blessings" invoked on this administration be made by apostates and heretics.

Reply 7 - Posted by: Momma Walton, 1/10/2013 1:45:40 PM     (No. 9109247)

Where does one begin to understand Obama, those associated with him.

Who, in their right mind, would want to be a part of an administration that uses anyone they can to their advantage as well as continually desecrate what we once held sacred - God´s Word!

Any true believer/pastor would never agree to be a part of an adminstration that denies God´s Word.

We are set up for another battle.

This war is won/lost in the heavenlies.

Is God or Satan the leader of this country?

Has Obama changed his mind concerning God´s Word or did he ever know it?

There are more questions than answers!

These should have been clarified "before" Obama was elected President!

Every Pastor should be assured of his Faith/Trust in God before he ever seeks to lead his congregation.

Obama is not concerned about God´s will/way.

Obama is solely dedicated to self-adulation, Satan´s way too - wanting to be like God. Did he not tempt Eve by saying she would be "like" God, not "dependent" upon Him.

Satan´s tactics have not changed because they work in the hearts/minds/souls/spirits of those power-hungry and self-centered!

Pray for America!

Only God can save US!

What if Obama has a party and no one comes!

Obama is also "stealing US blind" and we don´t have the "courage" to stop him.

Congress is beyond disapproval. They are useless in this present administration.

If we don´t stand for something (Righteousness), we will fall for anything -(Obamacare)!

God bless this Pastor who backed out. Too bad it took so long! Does he not know who Obama is?

Anyone can see Obama´s agenda is not God-centered!

Pray - Pray - Pray - our only Salvation!

Most black pastors have spoken out against the sin of the homosexual lifestyle at some point in their preaching career. If they find a preacher who hasn´t, chances are he is gay himself.

On Wednesday, in a speech to the National Association of Manufacturers, Rep. Paul Ryan argued that the Senate immigration bill "is not amnesty." Ryan offered to debate anyone who considered the legalization process in the bill to be "amnesty." At the end of the week, Heritage Action CEO Michael Needham accepted Ryan´s debate challenge. Ryan said the Senate bill "is not amnesty" because “amnesty is wiping the slate clean and not paying any penalty for having done something wrong.” Needham countered Ryan´s point at Heritage Action´s blog, The Forge: Now some have suggested the inclusion of a

Last week, GOP pundit Karl Rove wrote in The Wall Street Journal in support of the current Senate immigration bill, arguing it was much tougher on illegal immigrants than the 1986 law that granted amnesty to then 3 million illegals. Rove wrote that the 86 law "essentially told those here illegally that if they had arrived in the U.S. prior to 1982 and wanted to become citizens, simply raise your right hand." Ed Meese responded Friday that Rove´s description of the law was "way off the mark." In a letter published by the WSJ, Meese recalled that

WASHINGTON - The House overwhelmingly passed a sweeping, $638 billion defense bill on Friday that imposes new punishments on members of the armed services found guilty of rape or sexual assault as outrage over the crisis in the military has galvanized Congress. Ignoring a White House veto threat, the Republican-controlled House voted 315-108 for the legislation, which would block President Barack Obama from closing the U.S. detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and limit his efforts to reduce nuclear weapons.

Glenn Greenwald is the Guardian journalist who broke the story of the NSA snooping. Greenwald came to prominence during the Bush years by denouncing that administration’s anti-terrorism policies. To his credit, Greenwald is one of the few on the left who has remained consistent and now criticizes Obama policies with almost as much zeal as he criticized Bush. Not to his credit, Greenwald developed a habit of using fake commenters to defend his written positions when others criticized him, and then denied that he engaged in any sockpuppetry. Greewald blamed the sockpuppetry on his boyfriend.

In the midst of the eruption of near-daily scandals involving the Obama administration, let us not forget that until just a few months ago, Hillary Clinton was the most significant persona within that administration besides the president himself. Let us not also forget that notwithstanding the scandal-grenades going off all around us, Mrs. Clinton diligently plans her run for the presidency, even while several of those scandals are obviously and entirely her responsibility, exposing the State Department during her tenure as an utter sewer of corruption, cronyism, and fatal incompetence.

For me, “crackup” claims are a almost always hack way of expressing unjustified triumphalism. But now I think I see a crackup. Given the scandal-a-week Obama administration, you might think that the crackup, if any, is looming on the left.
