| Not one, but three Bibles for President Obama´s inaugural oath-taking. On Sunday, January 20, President Obama officially will be sworn into his second term, taking the oath of office with his hand on a Bible belonging to his wife´s family. The next day, when he takes the oath a second time as part of public inaugural ceremonies at the U.S. Capitol, Obama will place his hand on two Bibles, one stacked on the other. One of the Bibles, which belonged to President Lincoln, Obama used in 2009. The other belonged to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Comments: Why isn´t 0bama using the Koran that Keith Ellison was sworn in on? That in itself is a disgrace.

Fun stuff. The ´commander in chief´ commits perjury multiple times in a single swearing in...
We already know this guy operates outside of the constraints of both US law and the Constitution.
He´s already sworn to uphold both once and lied about it. He´s broken Federal laws with impunity - and demonstrated in multiple areas he´s a ´law unto himself´.
Second go-round will likely be exponentially worse - his only proven area of expertise is perpetual campaigning and ego aggrandizement.
As noted - it´d be more believable if he swore on a Koran...

Definition of an oath: "A sworn declaration that one will tell the truth.......especially in a court of law."
Sorry sports fans, regardless of the three Bibles involved, this will simply be another grandstanding performance by The Bamster, "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

And doesn´t he swear to uphold and defend the Constitution and the Laws of the United States? Obviously, the Bibles don´t matter. The oath means nothing to this grifter. Laws mean nothing--enforce immigration? defend DOMA? Fast & Furious? Freedom of Information Act? Nah. The 2nd and 4th amendments of the Constitution can also be ignored or overidden with an Executive Order. And the 1st Amendment only applies if you happen to agree/support him. No 1st Amendment for those opposed to him.

Really, Obama IS Christian. Look, he´s taking the oath of office on two Bibles this time. No, wait -- on THREE Bibles.
If Obama could choose any historically-significant book to represent his core religious orientation, his first choice would be "Dreams of My Father", of course. But second would probably be Thomas Jefferson´s personal Bible, in which the former President redacted any line or word he believed didn´t belong. (i.e. a faith customized to suit his own values)

Isn´t the idea of swearing an oath before God to warn the person that God will punish him for lying? I guess Obama doesn´t believe in God or he would be afraid to swear such an oath. But God will deal with him anyway.

Obama is challenging God to a duel. He thinks he is beyond chastisement/punishment!
Psalm 9:19-20 - prayer for US.
Arise, O Lord, do not let man prevail; let the nations judged in Your sight. Put them in fear, O Lord, that the nations (US) may know themselves to be but men. Selah (meaning, stop and think about it!)
Obama continues to usurp God´s power, a fearsome place to be. Remember when King David sinned, brought havoc on Israel. Obama has done much more. His transgressions are not personal immorality (that we know of), but his denying God´s Word when it is God who set him up in power over this country. He will be held accountable, as will we, if we do not pray/agreeing with God, that He alone be Lord/Ruler over America.
I believe we were "tricked" into believing that Obama was/is one of US. He does not have the same love/concern for prosperity/power, coming together to safeguard all citizens, not play one against another.
Obama´s taking oath again on a Bible (God´s Word) sets him up for God´s rebuke if he does not align himself with God´s will/way, His leadership, the Holy Spirit to reveal to Obama what God wants, not what he personally chooses.
The days ahead are going to be a Time of Decision! God is not mocked: What Obama sows, he will reap! God´s Love/Grace are crying out to him to repent, seek Him, lead as His "man for the hour", not the politically-correct who chose him to represent them!
As God delivered Nineveh when they repented, may He also spare US "because" the Faithful repented, Jesus, God´s Son, our Redeemer, be honored/glorified in US, our only Hope of Victory!

One of the first political issues negotiators must tackle in crafting an immigration reform bill is among the most important: what to name it. It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. President Obama is eager to build public support for his health care overhaul in the few months remaining before its implementation, but waning enthusiasm from Democrats threatens his effort right out of the gate. Two-thirds of Democrats now believe Obama´s health care reforms will either hurt them personally or have no effect on their daily lives, a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows. In comparison, just 27 percent of Democratic respondents said the reforms would help them. The president has long struggled to convince independent and Republican-leaning voters that his health care blueprint would lower premiums and expand insurance coverage.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
