| Surprised? Don’t be. It’s an open secret that McChrystal’s a liberal, to the point where he allegedly banned Fox News from TVs in his headquarters in Afghanistan. He’s kept a low profile since he retired but between this and his criticism of O’s dependency on drone strikes, I guarantee that some liberals will start murmuring about him as a Plan B in 2016 in case Hillary decides not to run. Their bench is thin and there’s a real chance that the GOP nominee, be it Rubio or Jeb Bush, will have formidable star power.

I saw most of the interview and I´m not sure I can believe this article. Allahpundit needs more proof for me.
Sean is a terrible interviewer as he gets those on his program he likes or those he can argue with. Stopped watching on a regular basis a long time ago.

Now, now, now. We shouldn´t be wondering how all these generals managed to get 4 stars with out any incidents of combat. I know, I was told that when one of my promotion boards in the Army met. The board was under specific instructions to ignore combat tours because not everyone got them.
It seemed that success in combat was not a factor for promotions in the Army.
And I can´t believe that I just wrote that about the service I was in for over 30 years.
But the more I think about it......

I´d rather listen to opinions about guns or the military from vets like #10, instead of political animals like McChrystal. Stan, if you really are so worked up about gun laws, move to NY. If you apply for a handgun permit in the wrong county there is a good chance YOU won´t get a concealed carry permit. Then you would feel ´safer,´ right?

Ha! I said the same thing to myself when I saw the headline!
Best part is, for example, if Stanley McChrystal were to move to Nassau County on Long Island and had any desire to own a pistol merely for target shooting and keeping in the home, he would be required to fill out volumes of paperwork, be required to approach his neighbors - non-family members who live in Nassau County only who have known Stan for more than one year - and tell them he intends to purchase a pistol and needs them to attest (by affidavit) that he´s of "good moral character," pay close to $300 in fees, and wait in excess of nine months to find out if he is indeed worthy of a Nassau County pistol permit.
You know what, why listen to me? Here are the instructions and clearly unconstutional requirements to attain a pistol permit in Nassau County:

I don´t know gun models. He said that the guns he carried in his military career have no place in civil society. But wouldn´t those guns be automatic weapons which indeed are not available to most Americans? He was asked about the Bushmaster and then talked about carrying an M.something as a soldier. Can anybody tell me what kinds of guns he talked about.

RUSH: Folks, I don´t know how else to categorize this. We are living in a dying country. I don´t know how else to categorize what´s happening -- 88,000 new jobs. The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.
