What Obama´s Senate
Mafia Means for America

National Journal, by Michael Hirsh

Original Article

Posted By:BuckeyeRon, 1/6/2013 3:21:24 PM

In the summer of 2008, while the two of them were on a trip to Afghanistan, then-Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., gave a bit of advice to then-presidential candidate Barack Obama. "I told Obama he should pick [Joe] Biden as his running mate," Hagel recalled in a 2010 interview with National Journal. "I said, ´He understands governance better than anyone else. In particular, he understands Congress. He understands how it fits together like no one else you could get. He´s got the political piece. He ´s got the policy piece. There´s nobody in his league.´"

Comments:
NSA Tom Donilon spells out Zero´s 5-pronged strategy for the second term and what roles former senators Obama, Biden, Kerry, and Hagel will play...IMHO, the move is on to establish Biden as the prohibitive favorite for the Dims nomination in 2016...

That is enough to prove to me the Hagel is an idiot and has poor judgement. Don´t confirm him.

Both are window dressing yes men. Obama will continue to do as his NWO & Saudi handlers direct him to do. Will they ask why American troops are in Africa? No.

The only reason that Obama would nominate Hagel is that he knows that Hagel is a pretend Republican, who would give him some political cover to continue dismantling the US military.

Biden was picked for the same reason Clinton picked Gore, as insurance against impeachment or assassination. Clinton was thoroughly corrupt, but the thought of a President Gore was even more repellant. Kerry and Hagel will no doubt "stand fully with Obama’s scaling-down of American military commitments abroad." Obama is gutting the military. After all, the only thing he wishes to use it for is to disarm the American people.

And he´ll have his civilian militia and the U.N. for that task.

Colorado authorities are questioning two associates of the man suspected in the killing of the state prisons director, a law enforcement source close to the investigation said Thursday. The two men, whom the source declined to identify, are in addition to James Lohr, 47, and Thomas Guolee, 31, two men the El Paso County Sheriff´s Office asked police to be on the lookout for on Wednesday. One or both could be headed toward Nevada, the office said. Police want to question Lohr and Guolee -- whom police described as associates of the white supremacist 211 Crew gang

Williamson, W.Va.- The man suspected of killing a West Virginia sheriff as he ate lunch in his car was mentally disturbed and had no particular vendetta with law enforcement, his father told The Associated Press on Thursday. Melvin Maynard said his 37-year-old son, Tennis Melvin Maynard, was exposed to harmful chemicals and injured while working at an Alabama coal mine. He most likely did not target Mingo County Sheriff Eugene Crum, he said. "He would have probably shot anybody, the first one he come to, you know what I´m saying?" the elder Maynard said. "I know he was off."

The Dow Jones and Standard & Poor’s 500 indexes reached record highs on Thursday, having completely erased the losses since the stock market’s last peak, in 2007. But instead of cheering, we should be very afraid. Over the last 13 years, the stock market has twice crashed and touched off a recession: American households lost $5 trillion in the 2000 dot-com bust and more than $7 trillion in the 2007 housing crash. President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
