Benghazi – During Attack Denis
McDonough and Tom Donilon Replace
President Obama and VP Biden…

The Conservative Treehouse, by Sundance

Original Article

Posted By:earlybird, 1/6/2013 10:15:40 AM

Two days ago we posted a discussion around a newly released photo from the White House. The picture was taken in the oval office on Sept 11th 2012: (Snip) The picture was taken at exactly 7:28:16pm DC time. It was dusk outside, and President Obama had just completed a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Why is this important? Because we know the conversation lasted an hour. (Snip) So this phone call between Benjamin Netanyahu and President Obama started three hours after the attack began.

Comments:
The conversation with Netanyahu lasted an hour and both Obama and Biden were on that call. It appears that "fixers" McDonough and Donilon were the only national security staff on duty in the White House.

Great research from The Last Refuge aka The Conservative Treehouse. Consider also this article about Tom Donilon, and what he does for Obama, that appeared in the New York Times on September 23:

A Manager of Overseas Crises, as Much as the World Permits
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/24/us/politics/tom-donilon-a-manager-of-overseas-crises.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

Benghazi is still unraveling.

And as we asked two days after the attack - Where are the survivors who flew out the next morning to Germany?

It appears clear now they are CIA employees or contractors. The Obama team has them probably all over the world. The relatives whom we would normally see on TV are scared.

The Media - absent as usual.

The timeline as I understand it, was that Obama was out somewhere, returning to the WH at 4:50 pm on 9/11/2012. The log shows a private meeting with Biden and Panetta in the Oval Office at 50.
At 6:28 he was on the phone with BiBi, for an hour.
The facts will all come out..

The facts might come out 2, but then what? The press will do nothing. The Repubs will do nothing. The voting fools will just nod their heads.

What msm has this story? If they know and don´t print it what does that say about them?

Bet the NYT´s will make it a headline. Sure they will when hell freezes over.

This is sickening stuff:

Perhaps this insight from Newt Gingrich , after he spoke to a “key senator” provides some clarity to the “fog”:

“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office [Tom Donilon] telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” [Newt] Gingrich said.” (link)

Newt Gingrich was specifically talking about his knowledge of a communication known by at least one Senator, and given to two media outlets - who did not use it. It makes sense:

Tom Donilon told people to “stand down” while POTUS and VPOTUS were on the phone with BiBi and unable to be interrupted. At 7:26pm (DC) 1:30am (Benghazi) -when this picture was taken – Ty Woods and Glen Doherty were fighting for their lives.

The article tells us that McDonough has little experience except in being a campaign hack and is even considered to be an amateur at that. And he has been "guiding" Obie in his foreign policy in Africa and the Middle East? Kissinger called them "the kids".

Reply 6 - Posted by: truthfetish, 1/6/2013 11:02:52 AM     (No. 9101508)

So Zippy´s top national security adviser is nothing more than an adroit party commissar with no national security experience? Yep, entirely believable.

Reply 7 - Posted by: Emerson, 1/6/2013 11:03:10 AM     (No. 9101509)

(hit Submit too soon)

McDonough was also the person who tied the anti-Muslim video and Cairo to the Benghazi attack. (He is the fixer, after all - the guy who comes up with the CYA story for Obie after the damage is done.)

FTA:

The cover story already existed because earlier in the same day the State Dept was getting questioned about the attack in Cairo, Egypt. Again, at another embassy – and a story had already begun about a U-Tube video.

Just continue the same narrative story.

Which he did, effectively, the following day: [McDonough on Sept 12th]

“This work takes on added urgency given the truly abhorrent video that has offended so many people–Muslims, and non-Muslims alike—in our country and around the world.” (link)

After all, it was this same 41-year-old ”kid”, who was the key deflector between POTUS and the crisis that was “Fast and Furious“:

“Investigative journalists have provided details on McDonough’s background and work history in politics, but the information that makes McDonough relevant to the continually breaking news on the Fast and Furious scandal is his role in silencing complaints from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)…” (link)

Sickening.

Strange article. Are they implying that conservative pressure to deal fairly with BiBi is the reason Zero and Biden were inattentive to attack on embassies and consulates throughout the ME on 9/11?

Benghazi started at 3:40 eastern while Panetta and Dempsey were meeting in the Pentagon, presumably in the midst of tracking via the Natl Mil Command Ctr what was already unfolding in Cairo as was State and the WH Situation Room. General Ham of AFRICOM was also in the Pentagon and CENTCOM had to be tracking. Both Panetta and Dempsey joined Zero and Biden in the WH just after 5pm with former FannieMae top lobbyist Donilon orchestrating. You know, the Donilon whose wife runs Jill Biden’s office and whose brother is a senior counselor to Biden. McDonough is Donilon´s poodle.

Why was an ad hoc team sent from the Tripoli embassy to help in Benghazi instead of US forces being sent to both Tripoli and Benghazi given the intercept that terrorists were targeting Tripoli and the embassy in Cairo was already under assault? Who made that decision? What US Navy assets were in the Med and in Southern Europe? What were Panetta and Dempsey doing from 6pm onward, and from where?

Precisely when did the first drone arrive over Benghazi and what video feeds went where? Did those in the 5pm WH meeting view any of the feeds? Did Zero and Biden go to the Situation Room at any time during the evening?

Well we are getting closer to the answer to the key question: who gave the order to stand down. What will be done about it? Who knows with the breed of politicians we have but but we need the truth. We can go on from there.

Reply 11 - Posted by: Pearson365, 1/6/2013 11:27:23 AM     (No. 9101542)

Let´s be clear:

A. The murder of Ambassador Stevens and the 3 other Americans was and remains Obama´s direct responsibility. That is why he lied and continues to lie about the entire event. There is no way for Obama to be honest, because he bears direct responsibility for not protecting our Libyan ambassador and for the disaster of Libya. Obama blamed the video because he could not blame Bush.

B. Obama authorized Holder to proceed with Fast & Furious, a clearly illegal gun running operation. The 300 dead Mexicans and the 2 dead US agents are directly tied to Obama´s decisions to allow 2,000+ guns to "walk" across the border to the drug cartels. Holder has been charged with contempt of Congress because Obama does not want his authorization to be made public. Obama did blame Bush for a highly constrained version of F&F, and that is all the press needed to ignore Obama´s criminal involvement.

Having said the above, it is sickening to realize that this dishonest, delusional and disatrous he devil was reelected.

Republican Congress Critters in both houses need to ask themselves WWDD(What Would Democrats Do)? We all know that they would "never let a crisis go to waste" in the party´s quest for power.

The Benghazi debacle must not be allowed to die of inaction by the Republicans, since we know that the Dems are praying that something new will come along to distract the American public before it gets too riled up over the unnecessary deaths of four Americans serving abroad.

The whole affair is an outrage and the pitchforks and a hangman´s rope need to be brought out by Americans who love our country and refuse to let this Fraud and his cohorts destroy it.

While God probably won´t intervene because man wants free will, I just pray that he will answer prayers asking for protection from this Evil that has our country and its Patriots in its grip.

However, inthe twisted world of liberal here is the story line:

The article is about the question "Who was in charge?"....it is not about the telcon with Bibi or what precipitated it. But both Obie´s and Biden´s being closeted for an hour with the "Do Not Disturb" sign up while this was raging in Benghazi - leaving in charge of national security two amateurs whose only interest is Obie´s image - is outrageous.

There has never been a question in my mind re who orchestrated events on the night of 9/11 and for that matter, our entire stance on Libya and Egypt prior to and since the toppling of Ghaddafi and Mubarak...it´s Donilon and a simple search of this site using his name including replies shows my consistency since Sept, even in the face of some on this site pointing to Jarrett.

Donilon ousted Zero´s first NSA Gen James Jones, has iced Hillary for Benghazi, killed the nomination of Rice to SoS, is pointing the finger at McDonough in this article, and is orchestrating the Kerry/Hagel nominations. Don´t under estimate his influence in the WH or his skill in playing Beltway hardball.

Lamecherry explains it another way...

The video was made by the filmmaker wo produced only one other film...it was for Eric Holder right before Waco about the Branch Dividians...

The video was referred to immediately upon uprisings in Cairo for a purpose...to pretend it was making the Muslim world angry ...so as to have cover for Benghazi...

The Lamecherry says Obama was going to have Ambassador Stevens kidnapped and the Obama would negotiate to have him back proving his power with the Middle East and giving Obama hero status before the election as Osama was too long in the past to effectively use for the election....

However, the Russians were angry over the takedown of Libya... and the humiliation of their guy Quadaffi´s, American approved rape and murder...and so sent in their own terrorists armed for a military attack so as to send Obama a message and warn him out of Syria....to stop sending arms, missiles through conduit Turkey....into Syria ...to take down another Russian ally.... Taking down Syria closes off Russia´s oil port distribution ...

Russia ran a victory lap on our Election Day ...with nuclear subs one hundred miles off our East Coast...

Our media is guilty of Treason...not reporting on Benghazi...Obama is so transparent for any willing to consider...

...What cover was Obama looking for to be on a two hour call with Bibi.. who Obama has avoided calling and meeting with at all costs...so he and Obama have the cover of a two hour phonecall with Bibi...Oh right!! Use your enemy to hide your lack of presence...carefully crafted by Obama, Biden, Donilon, McDonogh and Brennan....

Lamecherry gives much to ponder...

Where was Hilary when they denied Ambassador Stevens repeatedly requested more security only to have it denied?
Did Obama order Amb. Stevens to Benghazi to be kidnapped as suggested by Lame Cherry?
Was Hilary MIa because of an alleged drinking problem?
Are her falls and blackouts related?
No confirmation until Hilary testifies under Oath.
She lied about Travelgate under Oath and skated.
She cannot be alowed to remain viable as POTUS in 2016.

When it first became clear that the CIA’s Benghazi talking points had been altered, many of us viewed the White House as the prime suspect. After all, it served President Obama’s political purposes to claim, at the height of a political campaign in which he was taking credit for the fall of al Qaeda, that the death of a U.S. ambassador was down to spontaneous outrage over a video, rather than pre-planned terrorism. It turns out, however, that the State Department was the prime culprit. It was State that pushed back hard against the original talking points.

Republican lawmakers, who have spent months seeking to tie President Obama to last year’s deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, are increasingly focusing their probe on a new target: former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton. The GOP-led investigation of the Sept. 11, 2012, assaults that killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three others now centers heavily on the State Department and whether officials there deliberately misled the public about the nature of the assault. There was tragic incompetence, plainly, in the Obama administration’s handling of the Benghazi attacks, and even possibly some political calculation. It is a record that may well come to haunt Hillary Clinton, the first Secretary of State to lose an ambassador in the field in more than three decades, if she runs for president in 2016. But the obvious Republican effort to turn this inquiry into the Democratic (Obama) version of the Iraq intelligence scandal that has tarred the GOP since the George W.
