SF buses help teach
what ´jihad´ really means

KGO-TV [San Francisco, CA], by Ama Daetz

SAN FRANCISCO -- Buses in San Francisco are carrying messages of jihad, but it´s not what you might think. It´s a campaign to educate residents about the real meaning of the word. It´s a campaign that began in Chicago and has now reached the Bay Area. One statement on the side of a Muni bus reads: "My jihad is to stay fit despite my busy schedule. What´s yours?" It´s part of an educational campaign created by CAIR -- the Council on American-Islamic Relations. The group has put 35 ads on buses rolling through the streets of San Francisco.

No matter how many lies they spread as to the meaning of Jihad, to me, examples of the results include images of Danny Pearl & a yellow Lab puppy dying from mustard gas, as islamists laughed.

More lies... The BBC is redefining Jihad for the UK sheeple as well.

Arab MSM calls the US the best Int´l friend of the Muslim Brotherhood, citing several members currently holding positions in the Obama admin.

This campaign is a disgusting insult to Americans.

This is truly disgusting - and it confirms what many Americans already suspect, that CAIR is an enemy organization, a dishonest and treacherous Fifth Column bent upon causing confusion, sowing disinformation, and intellectually disarming Americans before the global and domestic threat of Islam. Anyone interested can consult 1500 years of amply documented history to discover the common, widely understood, and extensively practiced meaning of jihad for Muslims.

This is the same kind of manipulation that Obama used during his first campaign. Remember his mock ´office of the president´ seal on the podiums before he was elected? And how the press helped with the manipulation? Nobody running for office ever pulled that kind of stunt before Obama.

Absolutely Orwellian.
Jihad is defined as struggle. And context is everything.
When filthy islamofascist terrorist pigs call for jihad, the context is quite clear.

You´re right #10, context.

And if those same buses posted explanations that "infidel" is merely Islamic for "Christian"... many San Franciscans would embrace that word too (no matter how homoPYRRHIC Islamists are).

This is sort of just preaching to the choir. The lie-berals in San Fornication already love the muslims.

Of course, the fact that the muslims hate everything that San Fornication stands for, and would quickly move in and kill most of the ´´sinners´´ there, means nothing to the lie-berals of San Fornication. Muslims are opposed to all those evil Christians and conservatives, so the lie-berals of San Fornication love them.

You can never accuse a lie-beral of having a clue about logic or reason. All they understand is feelings. And it just feels like ´´the enemy of my enemy is my friend´´ applies to muslims.

An attorney for former Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official Lois Lerner unsuccessfully tried to secure a deal in which she would testify privately before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, the Wall Street Journal reported, leading to confusion over whether she would speak publicly about her role in the agency´s targeting scandal. Committee chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., announced on "Fox News Sunday" that Lerner would testify before his committee. The Washington Post on Wednesday ran a nice, big, paid section of Russian propaganda in its newspaper. Thanks Vladmir Putin! Weird timing, eh? It’s not like there’s a tense international standoff going on in Ukraine involving Russian troops. Several countries have threatened to impose sanctions on Russia, and the U.S. may pull out of the June G8 Summit in Sochi. President Obama warned on Feb. 28, “The United States will stand with the international community in affirming that there will be costs for any military invention in the Ukraine.” So does the Post senses any possible conflicts of interest here?

Although there was little doubt about who would be the nominees for Texas governor this year, now that the primary is over, the race between Attorney General Greg Abbott and state Sen. Wendy Davis can officially begin. And it promises to be a good one, perhaps the most competitive campaign for the state’s highest office in 20 years — since George W. Bush defeated incumbent Ann Richards in 1994. In many ways this year’s race will be similar, offering voters a distinct contrast between Republican Abbott and Democrat Davis, even though on a few issues Davis has cozied up closer

As vulnerable Democrats press for another unilateral delay of a key provision of ObamaCare, surely many in the party have come to wonder if the law is really worth all of this trouble. If it’s not worth enacting, is it really worth losing the Senate over? But that’s exactly what’s happening as President Obama tries to placate panicking Senate Democrats by carving up his own law. The likely result is less ObamaCare and less Democratic Senators. Obama has said that in five years or so, Americans will look on the law with appreciation. But Obama’s plan for getting there involves not implementing

What did Tom Perez know and when did he know it? That’s one of the questions congressional investigators were asking as they probed what increasingly looked like a whitewash of the Internal Revenue Service scandal. Perez, now secretary of labor, was formerly head of the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, where his key aide Barbara K. The crisis in Ukraine has brought out a fresh round of critics of President Obama´s foreign policy who see a pattern emerging: the president tries to assert his authority and direct events on the world stage with empty threats, which inevitably have no follow through. With each instance, U.S. power grows weaker as foreign powers view Mr. Obama as the president who cried wolf. The latest case: Mr. Obama´s public warning to Russia to stay out of Ukraine was followed by an invasion just days later. It´s just the latest failure, say critics who point to Syria as an example.
