Dems to run against ´chaos´ in ´14
Politico, by Alexander Burns

Original Article

Democrats, facing a challenging fight to retake the House of Representatives in 2014, see a promising new line of attack rising out of the fiscal cliff follies: casting the Republican congressional majority as a terminally dysfunctional body that cannot perform the basic functions of government, let alone lead the country through difficult times. It’s a meaningful shift from the Democrats’ message in 2012, when President Barack Obama’s party gained a modest eight seats in the House attacking Republicans as ultraconservative allies of the super-rich. After the past two weeks of tumultuous

Comments:
After collectively kicking our posteriors with new taxes, and more to come, the dRATS are going to be relentless in tearing our Country apart. We have seen with the complete capitulation of the LSM to do the White Houses´ bidding, darker days loom in our future. Reelecting Boehner, makes this all a certainty.

It doesn`t matter #1. That was not an issue in 2012 and won`t be in 2014. The MSM ignores it so the country has no idea it even exists. Most people have never heard of Benghazi, let alone Harry Reid and no budget for 4 years. Meanwhile, the Dems are always on the move scheming and conniving while the GOP hide from their own shadow.

Get ready for Speaker Pelosi once again,. The Dems will retake the House in 2014. Massive spending and `stimulus` on the horizon. Our govn is now violating our 8th Amendment right against cruel and unusual punishment.

The House should have ignored Obama totally, prepared a budget to solve the problems and told him to sign it or not, they don´t care. Nothing to negotiate. If he signs it: problems solved. If he doesn´t: let ´er tank.

Whatta plan!

1. Create a wholly-artificial set of problems.
2. Mishandle them all.
3. Blame your opponent.
4. Get re-elected.
5. Keep watching you net worth soar... "somehow."

I read this morning that the Dems would have to beat the Republican vote by seven percent to retake the House in 2014. It´s not going to happen if we all row in the same direction.

There are many of us that don´t trust the GOP to represent us, since they´ve done nothing but capitulate to the Dems, while focusing on being a slightly more to the right of the Dems.

The Dems won´t need to run against chaos, because the repubs have done the job of disintermediating their support base. Why vote for a repub who votes like a Dem, when you can vote for the real thing?

I´ll work hard to find an alternative to my RINO congressman, or will vote for his Dem opponent because then I can be sure what I´ll get.

The Repubs are toast, it´s time for a 3rd party.

They plan to re-take the House in a off-year election? If they couldn´t do it with ´O´ on the ticket they´ll never do it in the 6th year of his reign. I don´t care how disorganized the Republicans are at the moment - the Dems are dreaming.

Who is elected to the House almost always depends on local politics. Since just about all the Republicans now in the House, who would be running for re-election, are from Districts that did not vote for Obama, the liberal Democrats will have a hard time knocking them out in sufficient fashion to take over the House in 2014.

Several posters over the last few days have said they plan to quit the Republican party. I did that last summer and found it kind of liberating. I still felt like I needed a shower after leaving the voting booth, but at least they aren´t taking my vote (as much) for granted. Maybe as an "independent" they will listen to me more, since they apparently don´t listen to their own people.
I would seriously consider a conservative party if one emerged. Get ready for "a vote for conservatives is a vote for the dems".

How many Republican House seats are in districts that also voted for Obama? Fifteen, including mine, and my congressman´s seat is secure. So make that fourteen.
Look for big gains for the GOP in the 2014 primaries. Why? The low-information voters will stay home, because of the Obama tax hike 77% of taxpayers will have a smaller paycheck, and the national debt will be higher than it is now.
We should start grooming Senatorial candidates now.

Pretoria, South Africa - Oscar Pistorius spent much of last week on the stand detailing for the court what happened the night he shot and killed his lover Reeva Steenkamp. His version was repeatedly challenged by prosecutor Gerrie Nel who called it “improbable” and a “lie.” Pistorius’ credibility will likely play a key part when Judge Thokozile Masipa forms her verdict. When it comes to changing your passwords, the Heartbleed Bug is a better-safe-than-sorry bug. Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators.
