As 2d term looms, Obama´s Hope and
Change become Fear and Gloom

With all the fuss over political cliff dives and President Obama´s gaffes, this fresh Gallup Poll almost slipped by unnoticed. Faced with the prospect of 1,478 more days of empty Obama promises and speeches, at least half of Americans have now decided that America´s best days are behind us. While whopping majorities expect this year´s economy will remain troubled. That federal deficits will continue. That crime will increase. Taxes too. Along with foreign turmoil. While America´s influence and power decline globally.

If one tried hard, one could almost understand why some voted for Obama the first time round, but to do so the second time with all that was shown about his leadership , is not understandable. What did these voters expect the future to be? This is just the beginning guys. Let the pain begin!

Obama is simply an update of the "It´s a black thing, you wouldn´t understand" slogan seen in Manhattan during Winnie Mandela´s visit to the US. Under accusations of murdering her opponents and encouraging revenge through the gasoline soaked tire "necklace", Mandela was warming received in progressive black circles. Obama is treated much the same way was he encourages supporters to put economic tires around our necks

The Constitution was written by old white men who owned slaves, so it cannot apply to Obama,

Was talking with a service member yesterday. The Military is afraid that Obama is going to send them all overseas, then pretty much as the UN to send ´peacekeepers´ into the US to pacify the country.
They also believe that with the way Obama is getting rid of our nukes that Russia or China will be using theirs on us pretty soon.
They are not happy campers.

GOP: Another broken Obama

Good morning. My name is Bill Johnson, and I’m proud to represent Eastern and Southeastern Ohio in the House of Representatives. Four years ago today, President Obama came to our state and promised our seniors that his health care law would protect their benefits. He said this: “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. I don´t want to interfere with people’s relationships between them and their doctors." Now, the reality is, not only is the president’s health care law interfering with these relationships — it’s ending them.

Hi, everybody. In this year of action, I’m doing everything I can, with or without Congress, to expand opportunity for more Americans. This week, I ordered a review of our nation’s overtime rules, to give more Americans the chance to earn the overtime pay they’ve worked for. While those at the top are doing better than ever, average wages have barely budged. Too many Americans are working harder than ever just to keep up.

As part of his desperate political plot to distract the country with something -- anything -- other than ObamaCare´s debacle and serial scandals, Barack Obama has been talking a lot about global warming. Forget about the Nov. 4 midterms, folks. The world is burning up. A crisis not to be wasted. Obama calls it climate change before his audiences because after this endless winter of polar vortexes and record snowfalls and ice cover, the word ´warming´ draws applause or chuckles. [Snip] Now comes Gallup with a poll showing a third of Americans thinks global warming is a threat.

President Obama did it again Tuesday night. He was trying to dodge blame once more for the ineffectiveness of his leadership and administration realistically addressing the country´s genuine challenges at home and abroad. Obama told the crowd: "What´s holding us back is politics. What´s holding us back is an atmosphere in Washington that puts a premium on saying no; puts a premium on an eye towards the next election instead of delivering on behalf of the American people." [Snip] Here´s the catch: While Obama was blaming politicians for keeping their eye on the next election instead of their current jobs,

Sen. Rob Portman gives the Republican Party's Weekly Remarks Hi, I’m U.S. Senator Rob Portman from Ohio, and I want to talk to you today about how to get America moving again. It’s been five years since the experts said the recession was over, but for millions of Americans, it feels like it never ended. We’re living through the weakest economic recovery since World War II, and a lot of folks are struggling to make ends meet. Unemployment remains stubbornly high; the number of long-term unemployed is actually at record levels. But these statistics only tell half the story. Eleven million Americans have become so discouraged that they’ve given up looking for work altogether.

Hi, everybody. This week, I traveled to New England, where I was joined by four governors who are working to raise the minimum wage in each of their states. And they’ve also joined me in calling on Congress to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 an hour. Because it would give nearly 800,000 Americans in their states a raise — and lift wages for about 28 million across the country. So these governors aren’t waiting for Congress to make up its mind. And in my State of the Union Address, I asked America’s business leaders to go ahead and do what they could to raise their employees’ wages, too.

While President Obama´s approval, credibility and trust poll numbers sink into a black sea, the polls on his wife and Secretary of State aren´t that great either. Their numbers are much better than POTUS, according to Gallup. But neither Kerry nor Mrs. Obama is as widely approved by Americans as their recent predecessors. With one exception. Go figure, eh? Kerry's highest personal favorability came years ago when he won the Iowa caucus in 2004 -- 61%. After that, it was pretty much downhill, to 52% on election day and 44% 11 months ago. Growing up working in my parents’ carpet store, my daddy used to tell me that your word is your bond. That when your bond is broken; your trust is broken. (Scroll down for video of these full remarks.) Unfortunately, President Obama has broken that bond with the American people, and they no longer can trust his word. Hi everybody. In my State of the Union Address, I said that the best measure of opportunity is access to a good job. And after the worst recession of our lifetimes, our businesses have created eight and a half million new jobs in the last four years. But we need to do more to make America a magnet for good jobs for the future. And in this year of action, where Congress won’t do that, I will do whatever I can to expand opportunity for more Americans. This week, I took two actions to attract new jobs to America — jobs in American manufacturing, and jobs rebuilding America’s infrastructure.

By now it’s settled on most people, including Democrats, that the loss of Alex Sink to David Jolly in Florida’s 13th Congressional District was, in the words of the New York Times, “devastating” to Democrats. It’s a district Ms. Sink carried in her unsuccessful race for governor against Rick Scott, a district that Barack Obama carried in his two elections, and a district that demographically now favors Democrats. In addition, Ms. Sink raised more money and ran a better campaign than Jolly. Even Bill Clinton lent his efforts to her campaign. And yet she lost. What should particularly alarm Democrats is

The three-judge panel — consisting of Carter and Clinton appointees — ruled in favor of the legislators’ standing. This decision should embolden members of Congress who correctly believe that President Obama has encroached upon Congress’ constitutional authority. Indeed, Congress should do no less in defending its authority than the five Colorado state legislators.
