Gore Rammed Through Current
TV Deal to Avoid Tax Hikes

Breitbart Big Journalism, by Ben Shapiro

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 1/3/2013 7:24:10 AM

Al Gore may not have to worry about global warming destroying the earth after all. As it turns out, his massive hypocrisy may destroy the universe before global warming can fully kick in. Gore, an ardent proponent of raising taxes, just sold Current TV, his highly unsuccessful TV network that lost hundreds of millions of dollars, to Al Jazeera – a fitting end for a network that features terrorist-friendly programming. Gore was in a rush to finish the deal, which netted him $100 million as owner of 20 percent of Current TV. Why the rush?

Sen. Levin may want to hold committee hearings on how Gore saved millions from the U.S. Treasury by timing his transactions to avoid taxes. Sen Levin is often inflated with air and outrage when companies do this. As for Al Gore, he needs hundreds of millions more to enable him to get off the planet when it implodes.

Well, it looks like Algore will be taking oil money for his remuneration with the sale of Current to Al Jezeera. Wonder if he will have to buy more carbon credits to offset the oil thing? And please note that he wrapped up everything on 12.31.12 so he pays taxes at a lower rate than if the transfer had happened on 1.1.13. The libs always seem to be able to figure out stuff like that. Now, if AJ will put Joyless Behar in a burqua, they might get more viewership than Current ever had.

WASHINGTON— President Barack Obama supports requiring girls younger than 17 to see a doctor before buying the morning-after pill. But fighting that battle in court comes with its own set of risks. A federal judge in New York on Friday ordered the Food and Drug Administration to lift age restrictions on the sale of emergency contraception, ending the requirement that buyers show proof they’re 17 or older if they want to buy it without a prescription. The ruling accused the Obama administration in no uncertain terms of letting the president’s pending re-election cloud its judgment when it

Projecting madly, the White House on Sunday pushed the notion that Republican intransigence is the reason that Democrats have been unable to pass a budget during President Obama’s tenure. “Right now,” said senior White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer on Fox News Sunday, “the approach of many Republicans, particularly the leadership in the House, is my way or the highway.” This is certainly rich coming from an administration that has failed to garner a single “yes” vote on its budget proposals for the past several years, even from members of its own party. The president golfed with White House aides Marvin Nicholson, Joe Paulsen, and Michael Brush. Last Saturday, the president played golf at the same course with Nicholson, Brush, and friend and Chicago businessman Marty Nesbitt. No doubt there are parents who have frank, frequent, open and easy discussions with their teens about sex. I’ve never met any. I do know parents, however, who were stunned to find their 15-year-old’s birth control pills in her pocketbook. Or who came home early to discover junior and a girl they’d never met frantically buttoning up. Or who found out — when their children were grown — what really went on when Meghan said she was sleeping over at Ashley’s. A few years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Lindalyn Adams was escorting visitors on a bus traveling down Elm Street near Dealey Plaza. “I was pointing out the John Neely Bryan cabin and the Old Red Courthouse, and suddenly I realized the whole bus was leaning towards the right as we were going close to the Texas School Book Depository, and the women [were] pointing and saying, “Is that? Is that? Is that?’” Adams recalled during an oral history interview. She knew, of course, what “that” meant. “That” was where Kennedy had been shot.

Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
