After Congress agreed temporarily to avert the "fiscal cliff" last night, President Barack Obama hailed the deal in brief remarks delivered from the White House, and then headed to Air Force One to take a midnight flight to Hawaii. Obama had left his family days earlier to return to Washington to deal with the "fiscal cliff."

Does anyone care about the US economy as much as Our Hero, The Eternal President Obama? His caring knows no bounds, so much does He care, and care some more. The more He spends, the more He cares - it´s like a miracle.

This is the most uncaring insensitive president ever. And now that he doesn´t have to worry about another election, get ready for Michelle and her extravagant vacations!

I am so tired of being worried all the time. My husband has lost his second job this past year and I had to let my health insurance go because of premiums being doubled. I have had no raise for going on three years. I am trying to figure out how to pay bills, buy groceries and purchase our long term medication on my small salary. With the obamacare disaster just around the corner things are not going to get any better. This "deal" accomplishes nothing except extend the dems love of tax, spend, buy votes with goodies. And the so called president gives two snarky statements and then flies off to Hawaii. Why in the world voters put him back into office instead of on a permanent Hawaii vacation is a mystery.

Interesting. I read in another outlet the total cost of Obama´s Royal Progress to Hawaii was $7 Million. But then, perhaps they were including the cost of the first trip, plus his melodramatic reappearance in Washington.

Whatever, as Gen X likes to say.

He uses that 747 like a taxi cab.

Why?

1) Because he can and 2) he doesn´t have to pay the tab.

Arrogant, shameless, and narcissistic to the max.

Our children and grandchildren will be paying the tab for him and our feckless Congress on both sides who have wrecked our beloved country - morally, spiritually, economically, and socially.

We need to start over.

Obama is just another celebrity for the low information pop culture voter, who actually admires and participates vicariously in the extravagant lifestyle. What´s the use of being a celebrity if you don´t get and flaunt the perks? Obama´s fans would lose respect for him if he behaved like a non-celebrity. And for the Left wing "mainstream" media it is still a case of hear, see and speak no evil of the man they made president.

The attacks on the President and his family have been so unrelenting that they are now meaningless. Conservatives need to pick their battles, this is not one to fight.

Please know that as a god on earth, that Lord Obama does not require an aircraft to travel to Hawaii. He only flies on AF1 at $180,000 per hour so that the mere mortals who support him can get there as well.

True cost of trip is surely in the $35 to $45 million range, since an enormous WH staff, including chefs, Secret Service contingents*, communication teams, national security teams and Air Force transports with crews travel with him. While Obama will spend most of his time golfing with his Choom Gang, the approximately 500 to 700 people supporting him need rooms, meals, transport, etc..

* - Val Jar has her own 8-12 person SS detail, plus 24/7 limo, and staff. She is Obama´s brain, not withstanding fact that he is a god.

#4 I know of no one who is optimistic or happy about the future. And to think there is at least 4 more years of this bleakness and feeling of dread. Possibly more than 4 years and really little hope of reversing things. In a real world and a just world people such as those who populate the left would be tarred and feathered and shunned by society. All I can say is just hang in there.

As a retired Aviator who once ran a charter outfit I find the outrageous figure to transport an alien anywhere to make me want to go back to work.
Why we would have boxed the thing up and sent it by ground transport and frieghter to it´s final resting place.
Of course we would not have suffered the feral secreting servicers reveries disbursements. Hos and blo are expensive these days. That alone would save millions.

The next time it, le undocumented alien curtseying bath house queen, needs to shipped somewhere call us. We could save the working American taxpayers millions.

Too bad the Enemedia hide those costs, and the New Media haven´t really dug them out and publicized them.

Remember this is a $1.4 billion [at least] per-year White House. Spent on a usurper who isn´t in office legally.

President Obama’s re-election and Democratic gains in the US Senate end any possibility of repealing the Obama health law. It will roll out as written, imposing major changes soon on you and your family. If you are uninsured because you can’t afford it, help may be on the way. But if you are one of the 250 million Americans with coverage, there are big problems ahead. If you get your health insurance through a job, you might lose it as of Jan. 1, 2014. That’s when the new “employer mandate” kicks in, requiring employers with 50 or more full-time workers to provide the government-designed health plan or pay a fine. The government plan is so expensive, it adds $1.79 per hour to the cost of a full-time employee. That’s incidental if you're hiring neurosurgeons but a hefty increase for hiring busboys and sales clerks.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that
