| Epa chief Lisa Jackson suddenly resigned last week because she was convinced that President Obama is planning to green-light the controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline, The Post has learned. “She was going to stay on until November or December,” said a Jackson insider. “But this changed it. She will not be the EPA head when Obama supports it [Keystone] getting built.” While the State Department — not the Environmental Protection Agency — is responsible for the pipeline process because it’s an international project, Jackson is still the president’s top adviser on ecological policy.

Back when Rice´s name was being floated around as SoS,they mentioned something about her having holdings in the pipeline project.I was thinking,well if she got confirmed,she could open the floodgates.It also told me that maybe other leftists had a stake in the pipeline which is the only way it would get approved.
I´m thinking Hillary actually approved it at some point until the environmentalists found another excuse to stop it. Maybe at the time was where it went through in Nebraska which has now been fixed.
I still think her resignation was over the email scandal and this is being floated as a CYA. I´ll believe the pipeline being approved when I see it.
The honorable Henry Waxman opposed it saying the devil Koch Brothers were the main benefactors of it.

Jackson was pushed out, ahead of the release of secret emails sent under fictitious names, apparently to avoid the Presidential Records Act.
The pipeline issue is a fake one, to try to keep her reputation intact.

Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell is accused of killing newborn babies at his filthy clinic, and it was apparently very lucrative work. Gosnell allegedly "snipped" the spinal cords of seven newborns after performing illegal late-term abortions. Prosecutors believe he killed many other fetuses in their third-trimester and destroyed related records. Gosnell is also accused of running an absolutely filthy clinic — known as the Women´s Medical Society — that had untrained staff give at least one patient a fatal dose of the painkiller Demerol.

In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. It’s a technical change in pursuit of honesty and good government. And if adopted, it would cause benefits to grow more slowly, though almost imperceptibly so. Republican leaders in Congress ought to be delighted since they had “championed”—Obama’s word—the idea in the first place. Then came the catch. PHOENIX -- Arizona authorities say a package addressed to Sheriff Joe Arpaio discovered in a northern Arizona mailbox would have exploded if opened, leading to serious injuries or death. Maricopa County Chief Deputy Jerry Sheridan made the comment Friday at a news conference in Phoenix. About a decade ago, Glenn McGovern began studying targeted attacks on members of the criminal justice community, including judges, prosecutors and police officers. The former SWAT officer had joined the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office in California as an investigator. French Chief Rabbi Gilles Bernheim handed in his resignation on Thursday after he admitted that he had committed plagiarism and claimed unearned academic titles, French newspaper Le Figaro reported. The board met in Paris to hear his decision, and lauded his decision as "courageous." Bernheim is usually introduced as an “agrégé,” a sort of “doctor,” a prestigious academic title obtained by civil servants in competitive tests. In Who’s Who, in biographies and in an official book of the Consistoire central des Juifs de France, which administers religious services, the title agrégé of philosophy always appears under Bernheim’s name.

Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. Given their past indifference in local elections this is highly unlikely.

LOS ANGELES — Jonathan Winters, the cherub-faced comedian whose breakneck improvisations and misfit characters inspired the likes of Robin Williams and Jim Carrey, has died. He was 87. The Ohio native died Thursday evening at his Montecito, Calif., home of natural causes, said Joe Petro III, a longtime family friend. Petro said Winters died of natural causes and was surrounded by family and friends. Winters was a pioneer of improvisational standup comedy, with an exceptional gift for mimicry, a grab bag of eccentric personalities and a bottomless reservoir of creative energy.
