The 5 worst things that Barack
Obama did in 2012 (besides
winning that election)

Telegraph [UK], by Tim Stanley

Original Article

Posted By:Attercliffe, 12/31/2012 7:50:38

Twenty twelve sure was Obama’s year.[Snip] Despite being hampered by high unemployment and a sex-obsessed Democratic Party that oh-so wants to be invited to the Playboy Mansion, he managed to become something that in post-war history is relatively rare: a two term Democrat. Well done, sir. While Obama sits in the White House watching video mash ups of election night to the tune of The Only Way Is Up, for the losers the end of the year is an opportunity to remember the bad times. Here are a few of the things the Prez did, or didn’t do, in 2012.

Comments:
Pity Stanley had to limit his list to five, although they´re well played--nice bits of sarcasm here and there. But if he listed all the worst things, he´d be looking for a book publisher, not a newspaper column. A series book publisher.

Like OP says, Stanley left out a lot and didn´t include some words and actions that are dire warnings of what is to come. Obama is coming after US citizens and all of their property. His communist Utopia is clear in his own mind and his flying monkeys are cooperating with him to the max. The fifty percent of Americans on the right side of the bell curve are all that stand in the way, but if we do our duty, it will be enough.

He didn´t win that election. He stole it. No way on earth was the voter turnout millions lower than 2008.

I think Romney won by at least 10 million votes, votes discarded by illegally altered software code.

Romney won Chaves County (a previously democrat area) by at least 10k votes, the number of votes usually cast in an election. But we had paper ballots and a vigorous R turnout w/even the defeat of a 34yr dem state senator. Projection seems to be the characteristic of dems i.e., accusing others of stealing elections.

Ukraine crisis: Putin adviser

A senior adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused the US of meddling in Ukraine, in breach of a 1994 agreement over non-intervention. Sergei Glazyev said the US was spending $20m (£12.3m; 14.8m euros) a week on Ukrainian opposition groups, supplying "rebels" with arms among other things. (Snip) Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is due to meet Mr Putin on Friday in Sochi, on the opening day of the Winter Olympic Games there. He held talks in Kiev with US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland on Thursday, at which he said he favoured dialogue and compromise with the opposition.

When, during the early phase of Syria´s brutal civil war, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the West against undertaking military intervention in Syria, his arguments were dismissed as nothing more than a blatant attempt to save the Assad regime, Moscow´s long-standing regional ally. But now that, on the eve of tomorrow´s opening ceremony at the Sochi Olympics, American intelligence agencies are warning that terror cells are planning to blow up airliners bound for the Olympics with explosives hidden in toothpaste, the Russian president´s warnings do not look so far-fetched after all. Growing numbers of GPs are joining a rebellion against an NHS scheme to harvest millions of medical records. Unless patients object, officials will start to extract confidential data from their files next month. The information will be used to improve care and assist research work, health chiefs say. But some family doctors fear the data will be misused by insurers and businesses. At least four GPs--with thousands of patients between them--are defying orders to hand over their patients’ records. One of the most unfortunate pieces of White House spinning over the Iran nuclear negotiations is that those who supported new sanctions legislation – including several Democrat senators--were effectively "voting for war". They weren´t. What they were voting for was an alternative way of dealing with Iran. A more results-driven and fact-based approach, that clashes with several of the premises that underpin the current Kerry-Obama approach to the negotiations. The new Senate sanctions bill (now successfully stalled, it seems) didn´t call for new sanctions straight away. What it did was seek to put a hard floor under the negotiations process:

One of the best arguments for health-insurance reform is that our traditional employer-based system often locked people into jobs they wanted to leave but couldn´t because they feared they wouldn´t be able to get affordable coverage elsewhere. This worry was pronounced for people with pre-existing conditions but not limited to them. Consider families with young children in which one of the parents would like to get out of the formal labor market for a while to take care of the kids. In the old system, the choices of such couples were constrained if only one of the two received employer-provided family
