| The year is coming to a close. Thank goodness. Maybe in 2013 we won’t have to worry about Honey Boo Boo, Gangnam Style, Kony 2012 and Mayans. Those topics and more were the ephemera of the year. While Democrats and Republicans were fighting to see which party could run America, the traditional media were trying to run it into the ground by consistently taking a one-sided approach to coverage. On every major news story of the year – abortion, gay marriage, the economy, the fiscal cliff and guns – major media outlets consistently and openly sided

The rest of the story. The NBC reporter, Jeff Burnside, who altered the tape to make Zimmerman sound racist, has been hired by KOMO the ABC affiliate in Seattle.

It´s the daily drumbeat of hatred for anything conservative or traditional and lies lies and more lies from sun-up until well past midnight. The ass-press and the tv lefties are so full of it! They lie, distort, and accuse us of all kinds of dirty things like racism, sexism, being rich, being old and out of touch, while their role models like Baba Wa-wa, Whoopi Goldberg(Caryn Smith), Joy Behar, Katie Couric, Brian Williams, Bob Schieffer, Candy Crowley, Chrissie Tingles Matthews, Rachel Madcow, and the phony late-night show hosts like Leno and Letterman completely distort the news and the truth to their "low-information voter" crowd who slurp up the kool-aid like they´re in Jonestown!
I despise liars. Therefore, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN PBS, NPR , the ass-press, ESPN, TMZ, Google, Yahoo, Twitter, the NYTimes, the Wapo, the LA Times, the Sacto. Bee.....they´re all on my YOU ARE SO FULL OF CRAP list. Happy New Year, you big fat LIARS!

Thanks for the reminder, #1. KOMO se dice journalistic fraud?
To be fair about media bias, Fox usually leans to the Right, along with half a dozen other smaller networks and press syndicates. Sure, it hardly begins to compare to the behemoth of nets, syndicates, and portals/search engines who pathologically spin everything to the Left. But realistically speaking, no source of news is without bias, because no human being sees enough of reality to be truly objective, even with things observed firsthand.

Even “Fox News Watch,” which debuted several years ago as a promisingly serious media assessment discussion program, has evolved into a mostly chat, dish, giggle and gossip fest with little there there. And, of course, it being on Fox News Channel, lots of people say lots of things all at once so that, unfortunately, much of what reaches its audience is indecipherable gibberish. It would probably be a great deal more descriptive if they renamed the channel Fox News Cacophony. Or perhaps Foxus Communicatus Interruptus?

KEENE - The city has filed a lawsuit against six citizens, part of a group dubbed Robin Hood of Keene that patrols downtown armed with video cameras and pockets full of change to fill expired parking meters. Also known as Robin Hooders, the six are associated with the Free Keene group. "They say video recording or talking to them is harassing them, but I don´t agree with that," "Robin Hooder" James Cleaveland said of parking enforcement officers. "So they want to establish a safety zone of fifty feet." Members of the group place cards under windshield wipers

An authoritative new poll of more than 15,000 cops released on the eve of this week´s Senate anti-gun debate shows that a sweeping majority of officers don´t believe gun control will work or keep them safer, and nearly nine in 10 believe having more armed citizens would curb gun violence. According to the lengthy survey of law enforcement professionals, one of the largest ever of street cops, 85 percent believe that President Obama´s gun control plan to ban assault weapons, limit the size of ammo magazines and expand background checks won´t improve their safety

The deputy Prime Minister said it risked "undermining public confidence" to let illegal immigrants stay if they have been in the country for more than 10 years. In his first major speech on immigration, he abandoned the controversial proposal, which was championed by the Liberal Democrats at the last election. Mr Clegg previously supported the idea of "earned citizenship" for illegal immigrants. NEW YORK - A long-forgotten piece of America´s military history is going up for sale. The original smaller statue of the iconic raising of the U.S. flag at Iwo Jima in 1945 is expected to fetch up to $1.8 million later this month at a New York auction dedicated to World War II artifacts. That such a statue even exists is news to all but the most ardent history buffs. Most Americans are familiar with the 32-foot-tall Marine Corps War Memorial in Arlington, Va. (snip) Less well-known is the 12 1/2-foot-tall statue created soon after the event.

Boston Scientific is cutting up to 1,000 more jobs as it deals with a new medical device tax from the U.S. health care overhaul, limited growth prospects in certain markets and pressure to cut prices on its products in other countries. Still, the Natick, Mass., company´s shares jumped Tuesday after the maker of pacemakers and heart stents reported fourth-quarter results and a 2013 profit forecast that exceeded Wall Street expectations. In a push to trim costs, Boston Scientific Corp. plans to cut 900 to 1,000 jobs this year, which will include layoffs as well as the elimination

Springfield - Illinois fell to the bottom of all 50 states in the rankings of a major credit ratings agency Friday following the failure of Gov. Pat Quinn and lawmakers to fix the state´s hemorrhaging pension system during this month´s lame-duck session. Standard & Poor´s Ratings Service downgraded Illinois in what is the latest fallout over the $96.8 billion debt to five state pension systems. The New York firm´s ranking signaled that taxpayers may pay tens of millions of dollars more in interest when the state borrows money for roads and other projects. "It's absolutely bad news for taxpayers,"

The trio of Colombian criminals were forced to ditch their ill-gotten gains, during the 2am theft, after the animal started to bray and alerted police. The group had managed to steal rum, oil, rice, cans of tuna and sardines from a small shop in the tiny north Caribbean town of Juan de Acosta, according to Noticias Caracol. They planned to load the goods onto 10-year-old Xavi, who they had stolen some 12 hours before, and make their escape. But the animal let out a series of ´hee-haws´ and unfortunately for the trio alerted nearby police.

The simplest statements sometimes are the most insightful. For an example, consider this one on Wednesday from Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn, in reaction to President Obama´s gun-control proposals: "I would welcome the opportunity to debate these issues on the floor of the Senate, and would encourage Majority Leader [Harry] Reid to schedule a full and open debate." In these seemingly innocuous words are a key to GOP revival. What may be the most overlooked story of the past two years is how Harry Reid has subverted the democratic process, successfully allowing him to both protect his party

A troubling oversight has been found within New York State´s sweeping new gun laws. The ban on having high-capacity magazines, as it´s written, would also include law enforcement officers. Magazines with more than seven rounds will be illegal under the new law when that part takes effect in March. As the statute is currently written, it does not exempt law enforcement officers. Nearly every law enforcement agency in the state carries hand guns that have a 15 round capacity. A spokesman for the governor´s office called Eyewitness News to say, "We are still working out some details

On Tuesday Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) cited "Biblical compassion" as a reason to support the "Gang of Eight" immigration bill. Rubio told CBN that he supports the bill because “[o]ur faith has always been about compassion and it compels you to do something. "Now, we have an obligation to be responsible to our country and not do anything that hurts America but also our faith calls us to compassion. If you took compassion or the principle of compassion out of the Bible, it would be in tatters because it’s all over the place.” Mark Tooley, President of the Institute

The contradictions at the heart of the Obama presidency are finally out in the open. As a result, a man who came into office hellbent on restoring faith in government is on the verge of inspiring a libertarian revival. There have always been (at least) two Barack Obamas. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is really struggling to explain why he told Congress in March (see video above) that the National Security Agency does not intentionally collect any kind of data on millions of Americans. His latest take: It´s an unfair question, he said, like "When are you going to stop beating your wife?" And it seems to depend on the meaning of "collect." "I responded in what I thought was the most truthful, or least untruthful, manner by saying ´no,´" Clapper told NBC News on Sunday.

President Barack Obama said Tuesday that America “owes” it to certain illegal aliens to pass legislation providing a “pathway to citizenship.” “We owe it to America to do better,” Obama said in the East Room of the White House. “We owe it to the Dreamers to do better.” Obama then went on to cite several young people in the audience. Obama and supporters of the immigration reform legislation have called people who were taken into the United States illegally by their parents “dreamers.” Democrats previously supported the DREAM Act that would allow illegals who attend college or

Senator Barbara Boxer celebrated the rekindling of talks about gun-control legislation after a shooting at Santa Monica College last Friday. “Every single time something like this happens, I think this does give us wind at our back,” Boxer said on MSNBC over the weekend. On Friday, a gunman opened fire on the school’s campus in the state of California, killing six people, including the gunman. She said she does “worry about” the failure of the legislation after the Sandy Hook shooting last year, but knows that gun-control supporters “never give up.”

WASHINGTON — A State Department whistleblower has accused high-ranking staff of a massive coverup — including keeping a lid on findings that members of then-Secretary Hillary Clinton’s security detail and the Belgian ambassador solicited prostitutes. A chief investigator for the agency’s inspector general wrote a memo outlining eight cases that were derailed by senior officials, including one instance of interference by Clinton’s chief of staff, Cheryl Mills. Any mention of the cases was removed from an IG report about problems within the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), which provides protection and investigates crimes involving any State Department workers overseas.

In a Gallup tracking poll released Tuesday, former-President George W. Bush currently stands with a favorability rating of 49%, compared to 46% who see the 43rd president unfavorably. Meanwhile, another Gallup poll shows President Obama with only a 47% approval rating, with 44% disapproving. If you think about it, this makes perfect sense. After all, Obama fooled everyone when he ran as the anti-Bush in 2008. Everyone thought Obama meant he would be less hawkish than his predecessor. But as we have seen, Obama apparently has no problem killing American citizens

Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) said Wednesday that the incidence of pregnancy caused by rape is "very low," prompting criticism from Democrats who said the GOP is waging a "war on women." Franks made the comment during a committee mark-up of his late-term abortion ban bill, which is expected pass the House next week. The Republican lawmaker was arguing against a Democratic amendment allowing rape and incest victims to procure abortions. As written, the bill only exempts women whose lives are in danger. "You know, the incidence of rape resulting in pregnancy are very low," Franks said.
