CNN´s new chief Jeff Zucker is raiding ABC again in his search for a new face to lead the network. According to reports, Mr Zucker is eyeing ABC´s Chris Cuomo, the network´s legal correspondent and co-anchor of ´20/20.´ Since taking over as president of the cable network in November, Mr Zucker has been trying to build up prime-time news lineup, expand coverage beyond politics and war, and increase Hollywood coverage. Now he just needs some new blood. ´Jeff’s still looking for an anchor he can basically make the centerpiece of the network,´ a source tells the New York Post.

This amounts to the trading of officers among the Nazis, Italians and Japanese in 1942.

Oh good. A really, really bad "network" is raiding another really, really bad "network" and expects that to bring in the audience neither one of them has. Hilarious. Sorta sad, but hilarious.

Hey, Zuckeroo ...

Wanna do something to increase CNN ratings (and profits, so you can pay the increased tributes and taxes to Dear Leader[US])?

Stop hiring discredited liberal democrat kiddos and hacks from the RAT infested media and find some folks who at least can look at both sides of the issues.

I know that hiring those folks will make you look "right wing" ... you know, anyone who can see two sides and help people make the correct choice is biased in today´s bizarro world, but guess what.

FNC is cleaning up in the ratings and probably makes more money and delivers better results to its advertisers and listeners.

But I guess that´s not the objective anymore.

It might not be a bad idea to deport the Cuomo family, including Andrew the Flaccid, current governor of NY, and Mario Cuomo, the little bully.

It would never occur to Zucker to hire Mark Steyn or Hugh Hewitt. They´re too partisan, unlike Soledad o´ brien or Don Lemon.

In years past I was an avid CNN viewer but over the years...CNN overtly became a well known liberal progressive Pro-Democrat network...while Fox News had better anchors and staff who were really moderate to slightly conservative. I now watch Fox News a great deal and firmly support Fox News and their sponsors too.

CNN’s Jake Tapper would have done well to read “Lone Survivor,” rather than just seeing the new movie, before interviewing former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell last week. If he had, Tapper might have been more careful than to describe the deaths of Luttrell’s SEAL comrades in Afghanistan as “senseless.” And he would have been wary of Luttrell’s contempt for the liberal media. The film “Lone Survivor, which ” took in $38.5 million at the box office its opening weekend is based on a 2010 book by Luttrell that tells the tragic story of a 2005 operation in which the three

Anyone who has still not yet understood the utter cynicism of the Obama administration in general, and Attorney General Eric Holder in particular, should look at the Justice Department´s latest interventions in education. If there is one thing that people all across the ideological spectrum should be able to agree on, it is that better education is desperately needed by black youngsters, especially in the ghettoes. For most, it is their one chance for a better life. Among the few bright spots in a generally dismal picture of the education of black students are those successful charter schools or voucher

In their first three months of operation, the federal and state health-insurance marketplaces created under the Affordable Care Act—AKA Obamacare--have signed up 5,572,305 people who qualify to get federal funding for their health care, either through Medicaid or through an insurance premium subsidy, according to data released by the Department of Health and Human Service. Those 5,572,305 are part of the “6 million Americans” HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said today have used the exchanges to sign up for health insurance or Medicaid. In 1994 or early 1995 the still unknown Barack Obama sent his editor at Times Books, Henry Ferris, the first two-thirds of his memoir Dreams from My Father. He told Ferris that to complete the book, he had to return to Kenya to do some research. The evidence strongly suggests that Obama went not to Kenya to do that research but to the local library to do some borderline plagiarizing. In the way of background, Barack and Michelle Obama visited Kenya in the summer of 1992 and married in October of that year. There is little dispute about the timing of

Washington - Just days after dismissing two top advisers for their roles in the George Washington Bridge scandal, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is facing questions over the use of Superstorm Sandy relief funds. CNN has learned that federal officials are investigating whether Christie improperly used those relief funds to produce tourism ads that starred him and his family. The news couldn´t come at a worse time for the scandal-plagued Republican, who is facing two probes into whether his staff tied up traffic near the country´s busiest bridge to punish a Democratic mayor who refused to endorse his successful re-election bid.

Before Chris Christie’s first scandal devolves into an obsessive quest to prove who knew what, when, it’s worth pausing to appreciate the wonderful, quintessential New Jerseyness of the incident itself. What happened, roughly, is this. On August 13, Bridget Anne Kelly, one of Christie’s three deputy chiefs of staff, sent an email to David Wildstein, a Christie confidant serving as an executive for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which controls much of the transit infrastructure of northern Jersey. Kelly said that it was “time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee.” Some speculate that the precipitating
