And I would ask Dr. West why he didn´t say anything when the mayor of Chicago, the Rahmster, had nothing to say about the shootings in Chicago except to tell the shooters to stay away from little children as they shot each other...

West actually has a point, of course, but spoils the grain of intelligence he shows by, in effect, calling the victims "vanilla." If people like him would keep race out of the equation people might actually start thinking about the accuracy of what he says, now it´s just more racism.

Every time we try to bring up the gun problem on the ´´chocolate´´ side of town, we are accused of being racists for stating the sad truth that it is black-on-black violence nearly 100% of the time in the biggest problem areas like Chicago and Detroit.

Statistics have shown over and over again that you are most likely to be killed by someone of your own race. But that happens at a much higher percentage of the population among blacks than any other group.

And if someone is killed by someone outside of their race, it is almost always a young black male doing the killing.

Until blacks are willing to let down the wall of racism as an instant defense and actually deal with the problem in their own communities, no gun control or any other method is going to stop the violence in a very large part of this country!!!

Many of us on the Right have been howling about the lack of news coverage of black-on-black murders in Chicago alone. It´s not Chocolate Town, it´s not Vanilla Town, it´s violence perpetrated by our children against our children!

Why does Professor West assume that no one - Whitey, that is - cares about the hideous realities of murderous violence and crushing unemployment and grinding poverty and fatherless homes that is plaguing our inner cities? Does Professor West also think that no one cares about the financial disaster that the Obama administration has brought to African-Americans, who have been devastated by this endless economic downturn?

Well, I care about these things, and that´s why I can´t help but wonder why so many blacks voted for this guy. Wait until modest earners - black and white - get a lok at their first paychecks of 2013 - just in time for Obama´s second inauguration. Will they suddenly miss W and his "tax cuts for the rich"?

But it is media, not the people, which decides the relative attention paid to Chicago blacks killed and, say, some Seattle whites killed.

The fact is that multiple killings get attention in a way that individual killings will not. If 25 people et shot at a school in Chicago there will be plenty of attention regardless of what color the children are.
