Anti-Piers Morgan petition
tops 65K signers

Politico, by Katie Glueck

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 12/26/2012 9:50:02 AM

CNN anchor Piers Morgan isn’t benefiting from much Christmas cheer, at least according to one measure: The number of signers on a petition urging the White House to deport Morgan has skyrocketed by late Tuesday afternoon to nearly 66,000 names. The petition, created last week, had 65,887 supporters around 5 P.M. Tuesday and is posted on the White House’s official petition site. It slams Morgan for comments he has made regarding gun control in the wake of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School that killed 20 children and six adults.

Comments:
His speech is protected by Constitution he despises

Why should a LimeyRickey like Piers Jackwad have any constitutional protections, i.e. free speech? He´s NOT a citizen and therefore is not afforded the luxury of constitutional protections! Back to merry ol´ England with him.

Morgan is and always has been a raging nut case, seemingly enthralled with the percieved "perfection" of the European way, in spite of evidence that glares in the "otherwise" light. He is a liberal hack who has mananged to show the American public his forked tail - so, Good, if you don´t like what the brand is offering, turn it off- That´s how I vote - I refuse tow watch CNN- even at the DR. office (I scoff and ridicule CNN loudly when it´s on there). I don´t subscribe to liberal news papers or watch any major networks that slander my country - and I try to never shop at places that support them.

His speech may be protected. (recall that rights COME from the Almighty, our Constitution simply recognizes what was already there). So, no, we can´t throw him in jail for offensive speech. Unlike Britain.
But his presence in the USA is *NOT* protected. He could be frogmarched to the docks and put on a rowboat this very afternoon and tough noogies at that.
Kick the bum out. Today.

Morgan was the editor at Daily Mirror (newspaper in England) and was fired for publishing pictures of British soldiers torturing iraqi prisoners that were fake.

I detest Morgan but have to concede this petition is idiotic and to brag that 60.000 have signed it is even more idiotic.

There is only one effective course of action and that is to STOP WATCHING these idiots.

Stop watching the lefty channels and stop watching any clips of their shows on posted in the internet.

Bill Maher says something offensive - DONT WATCH.
Saturday Night Live has that rare skit that may be mildly funny - DONT WATCH.
Letterman insults some conservative woman - DONT WATCH.
Springsteen, Straisand, Moore, Belafonte, Penn just DONT WATCH, DONT GO TO THEIR MOVIES, DONT LISTEN TO THEIR MUSIC.

Newsbusters has been documenting the ridiculous statements made by all these clowns for years (since they were called Media Research Center). I think it is counterproductive, the solution is to ingnore them not to propagate their venom.

The one-time congressional dynamo and suicidal sexter will have a lot to prove. That his lying days are over. That he has the emotional maturity and psychic balance to lead a complex city, including in crisis. That he is interested in public service as its own reward, not to fulfill craving for attention. As a councilman and representative, as well as in a run for mayor, Weiner showed promise.

Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. I subscribe to the view that barring something truly unforeseeable, the Democratic nomination in 2016 is Hillary’s for the taking. There is no second Barack Obama out there to take the nomination away from her. In fact, the non-Hillary Democratic bench is pathetically weak. Hillary’s many controversies are mostly ancient history, and mostly the fault of her husband, and are unlikely to derail a general election bid. Rather, Hillary’s weakness is her time as Secretary of State, an abysmal performance which has left us weaker internationally than ever before.

With President Obama, there’s always a catch. In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. It’s a technical change in pursuit of honesty and good government. And if adopted, it would cause benefits to grow more slowly, though almost imperceptibly so. Republican leaders in Congress ought to be delighted since they had “championed”—Obama’s word—the idea in the first place. Then came the catch. The president’s price for adopting this gentle reform was hundreds of billions in new tax increases.
