| With Susan Rice withdrawing her name for U.S. secretary of state, President Obama last week nominated Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry for the job. Don´t expect applause from beleaguered democrats south of the border. Mr. Kerry´s record of promoting American values abroad is dismal. It isn´t that he opposes U.S. intervention—far from it. The trouble is that he has a habit of intervening on behalf of bad guys. A left-wing world view and an earnest conviction that it is his destiny to impose it on others may make him a perfect fit in the Obama cabinet.

Depends on who is deciding "bad" guys or "good" guys. Maybe with different people representing the U.S. in the world, our state department could do what needs to be done for the good of all mankind. Not with Lurch though.

Kerry´s record in Central America does not matter.
His treason in negotiating privately with the Viet Cong does not matter.
His confessed treason (under oath) before the Fulbright Committee does not matter.
His suspicious honorable discharge does not matter.
What matters is that he shares Zero´s foreign policy: drag America down.
What matters is that he has the unqualified support of John (I was brainwashed in Vietnam) McCain.
What matters is that Sen Harry Reid does not tolerate dissent.
What matters is that Kerry is heir to the Kennedy legacy.
What matters is that our Masters (we are all serfs, remember) have decided that the United States must be reduced in stature. That way they can maintain perpetual control over us.
A foul, unquenchable stench surrounds this appointment.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
