This article is a communications failure...
And I do not believe that 57% of our Nation "thinks" obama is doing a good job. What were the poll questions?

1st poll question: Do you like obama or do you hate all community organizers??

I mostly listen to Fox but sometimes I go to other channels to see what they are saying. Has this writer ever listened to MSNBC? All hate all the time. Other channels are not far behind. If someone never listens to Fox, and many do not, the image they get of Republicans is unfavorable.

Romney´s message of jobs, jobs, jobs and his singing the praises of hard work and achievement was not what people wanted to hear. But since that is what we have to offer, in what way can we change to appeal to Obama voters? Also, are we really at fault for what we believe? Or are Obama voters at fault for whatr they believe? Is it really as simple as not calling ourselves conservatives any more?

There is much sense in this. "Conservative" is not the most attractive of labels, especially when the Right is progressive (in the word´s true meaning) and it´s "liberals" who are the true reactionaries. And, most of all, because the GOP has basically proven now that it is incapable of changing when it counts. Losing to the worst president in American history is not excusable. The Ignorant Party could run Donald Duck or Ashley Judd for president and beat any Republican next time, given the broken trust the GOP seems hellbent on delivering to us time and time again.

When you run a moderate liberal against an ultra lefty santa claus, you get an obama win everytime. The republicans have tried this both times in the last two elections....and they failed. Then, when you have the loosing party state that they will re-form to more fully copy the left....well, what would you expect? The left will stay strong, the "right",which really doesn´t exist in the political field, will fade away.
I´ve had enough of liberals (and simon is a liberal)telling me to compromise my character for the good of a party that has set its feet on the same path the dems did decades ago. And leads to the very same cliff we are in danger of plunging over. You liberals of the republican party, YOU sacrifice your liberal ideals for the good of this country. Your way has historically proven to be fatal.

Not gonna read it. The Democrats and the media lie to voters to win their votes. Turns out a kajillion dollars in ad money can´t counter that. You can turn on the Tv today and hear a Democrat and a Tv personality say with a straight face that Obama has proposed spending cuts and that taxing small businesses will keep us from going over the fiscal cliff. I´m sure they themselves don´t even believe that. The important thing is that they sell it. Idiocy. Lunacy. But hey, businesses are required to provide free birth control so, yay!

I´m not going to get too concerned about the so-called demise of conservative ideas.

Exhibit #1- The equivalent of three years worth of gun and ammunition sales took place within the last week.

The lefties own all the media outlets except Fox and spin the facts to support this Fraud.
The only way for conservatives to get any air time is if they take off the gloves and get ugly.
Until such time as some Repub leadership get in front of a microphone and shout that Obama is Liar, Holder is a Liar and Crook, and Hillary is an Incompetent Fool--in just those words--they will never get their message out.

Are we ready to start over with a REAL conservative party? The longer we waste time on the McCains, Bushes and Romneys, the longer we wait for real reform.

The leftists used their many years out of power to conquer academia, the courts and the media. And what are we doing - - waiting for Boehner and McConnell to magically shrink the government.

Wisconsin and Michigan are the answer:
1) Separate the leftists from their union money, and they are set adrift.
2) Create training programs for returning vets to become school teachers so that we educate the next generation.
3) Offer real solutions based on individual freedom. We must own the language of liberty and then act accordingly. Right-to-work is a perfect example. Now how about Right-to-succeed in business, or Right-to-express-your-religious-beliefs?

Just some thoughts.

Romney was picked by Obama because he could be portrayed as rich, out of touch and greedy. None of this was true but Romney didn´t defend himself or attack Obama as he did his rivals for the nomination. See the video by Bill Whittle who defends Romney like Romney never defended himself. I think even a low information voter could understand it. We need more of that. We don´t communicate because deep down conservatives believe the liberal storyline.

Why is this a debacle? Didn´t we all say that DRats were acting like lemmings jumping off the cliff with Queen Pelosi?

Maybe it should be the Gone Old Party. I love Mark Levin, but even HE will have a very tough time convincing me that it´s worth saving from within. It has come time for its offspring to take over the day-to-day functioning and direction. (You know, back to where it´s SUPPOSED TO BE....)
