| Tebow Time is over. Actually, it never really started. The Daily News has learned the Jets and Tebow — whether it’s via trade or a release — will have a mutual parting of some kind. On Tuesday, The News reported that Tebow would request to be traded or released if Greg McElroy starts the team’s final two games. The News also first reported Wednesday that the team is planning on putting Mark Sanchez on the trading block. While many predicted the Tebow experiment would be a disaster for the Jets, the former Heisman winner never got a chance.
|
Comments: I don´t follow sports [in Dallas Cowboy country] anymore. it seems, however, that the Jets paid a lot of money to either take Tebow down a notch by not playing him all season, or they are idiots to have hired a good QB they "didn´t need."

Good! Be free, Tim. Find a team that can use your varied talents and be happy. Classy act that NY did not deserve!

Unfortunately, Tim does not have "varied talents" that work in the NFL. That´s why, in all likelihood, he´ll be playing in the CFL in Canada.
And when you say "NY", please realize that there are three teams in the Empire state. He was with the Jets.

Tebow will be released, no one´s going to trade for him. #2 is right he should go to Canada and play, it worked for Doug Flutie. Tebow would be a big hit. He´d thrive in that style of play. After a few years if his mechanics, accuracy and release improve he can come back to the NFL.

It became clear that Ryan would start McElroy over Tebow several games ago. Anybody could see it coming. When I realized this I went back to youtube and watched the highlight reel of Tebow humiliating the Jets last year. He destroyed them.
So now they got him back.

#2, you are incorrect, there are only two teams in NY: The Jets and The Bills. The Giants are a New Jersey team and have absolutely nothing to do with NY beyond the name (which they should not be allowed to have as they do no business there).
They are the Jersey Giants, period.

The next time someone says the NFL is all about winning, remind them of the New York Jets. Maybe Tebow doesn´t fit the mold of the current NFL quarterbacks. Many of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history would not be regarded a qualified to play in today´s NFL.
If the Jets were really interested in winning, they would have gotten their money´s worth out of Tebow by playing him, not leaving him on the bench while the losers on the team took shots at him.
Tebow has class. The rest of the New York Jets, including the loser coach Rex Ryan, have none. Ryan was obviously afraid to let Tebow play and win.

You can´t fix Tebow´s intrinsic problems. IMO his fingers aren´t long or nimble enough to create the right touch on the football. He doesn´t have enough short arm strength,so he has to reach too far back to generate the power. The game is so fast, you don´t have time to reach all the way back to throw the ball.If you´re going to use Tebow, you have to design the offense to exploit his strengths.Offensive coordinators aren´t creative or patient enough to do this,so he rots on the bench.
The liberal sports media simply wants to see him fail,so they pile on everytine he screws up. Any other QB gets a pass on this and that as part of the game.
The liberal sports media is also obsessed with promoting black QB´s as "pocket passers" to prove they have the same skills as a white one.RGIII isn´t afraid to use all the tools in his chest to advance the ball down the field and they don´t like it one bit.

My husband keeps trying to tell me that a lot of these football players are Christians. I´m not buying it. I remember brady hiding out in an office after the last game, last year, that he played against Tebow. Prior to that, brady had nice things to say about Tebow and playing against him. Pretty much what Brady usually says about his opponents. But that last game, brady HID from Tebow. In any case, 6´7" brady became a moral dwarf in my book. Same with the rest of the anti-christian football league.

Heard last night on our local Orlando station that Tebow is going to come back to Florida. We HOPE that happens. We appreciate him here. We appreciate that he´s not a Thug that beats his wife, gets in gunfights in Bars or murders anyone. We appreciate that he´s a great Role Model for young players and yes, we appreciate that he´s a great player. He has the RECORD to prove it! Rex Ryan should be FIRED for benching Tebow the whole darn season and playing Sanchez who is a lousy quarterback. And I agree that Ryan had it in for Tebow because Tebow kicked their Royal Football when he played for Denver!

Prior to Vince Lombardi coming to the Green Bay Packers in 1959, the previous Head Coach Ray "Scooter" McLean had Alabama´s Bart Starr riding the pinewood and was ready to trade Notre Dame´s Heisman Trophy winner Paul Hornung. Tim Tebow in my opinion, like these two members of Pro Football´s Hall of Fame, just needs the right coaching situation.

On Friday, Representative Stockman´s Twitter account unveiled his new campaign bumper sticker: "If babies had guns, they wouldn´t be aborted. Vote Pro-Life!" If you’re a member of the mainstream media, the odds are you’ve completely buried the Kermit Gosnell story. Whether you’ve hushed the murders of hundreds of babies because you’re “pro-choice,” because you don’t really care, or because Barack Obama once voted to protect many of the same procedures employed by Kermit Gosnell doesn’t really matter. You’ve been willfully negligent in your reporting and, now, you’re being shamed into correcting yourself. Case in point is last night’s episode of Anderson Cooper 360. Cooper devoted nearly half of last night’s episode to the story,

In what can only be described as a “house of horrors,” abortion provider Kermit Gosnell stands trial in Philadelphia, charged with the grotesque murder of at least seven infants, allegedly born alive after botched abortions only to be brutally killed moments later. As this nearly month-long trial continues, it paints the stark and unmistakably abhorrent reality of abortion. While the national mainstream media has been all but silent about this trial, the headlines coming from local media coverage have been morbidly graphic. Babies born alive and then allegedly killed in truly barbaric ways.

It was a scene the Philadelphia District Attorney called “a house of horrors.” A warning to readers, some of the details in this story are gruesome. West Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell is on trial for running an abortion clinic in which he allegedly killed babies that had survived illegal, late-term abortions, and where a woman allegedly died of a botched pain-killer injection. Ron King, a two-year veteran of the force of about 35 sworn officers, offered the target of a hoodie-wearing Trayvon at the range near Cocoa on April 4, Rosalind Harvey, a port spokeswoman, said Saturday. The other officers, who were on duty, refused. King led firearms classes at the range, Harvey said. Golf people are not happy about it. They say that the new rule is B.S. (or it´s at least being misinterpreted), and Tiger should DQ himself to save the integrity of the game.

In Philadelphia, at a human abattoir on Lancaster Avenue, is where it ends, not where it starts. It starts with the perversion of language. It starts when the icons of a dissipated culture reduce a baby to a “fetus.” From there, Yeats’s blood-dimmed tide rolls rapidly in. Before long, a baby is not a person but a punishment, as President Barack Obama framed the matter in his familiar off-the-cuff iciness. Of course, to describe newborn children in their boundless possibilities and wonder would be to acknowledge, foremost, their humanity. That is why, instead, abortion enthusiasts must grope for words

With President Obama, there’s always a catch. In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. It’s a technical change in pursuit of honesty and good government. And if adopted, it would cause benefits to grow more slowly, though almost imperceptibly so. Republican leaders in Congress ought to be delighted since they had “championed”—Obama’s word—the idea in the first place. Then came the catch. The president’s price for adopting this gentle reform was hundreds of billions in new tax increases.

Few Americans can not answer this question: who is the worst domestic mass murderer in United States’ history? Due to the United States media, most are aware that Timothy McVeigh slaughtered 168 people with a bomb in 1995. Most Americans also know the names of our three most monstrous serial killers: “The Green River Killer” Gary Ridgeway, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy. Here is something I don’t understand: liberals are often revealed as vile, vulgar hatemongers–not all of them, of course, but far too many–yet they never seem to pay a penalty at the polls. Why is that? Margaret Thatcher’s death has been the latest occasion for the Left to show its true stripes. All across the U.K., there have been demonstrations–vulgar at best, and violent at worst. In Bristol, lefties celebrating a Thatcher “death street party” started fires, destroyed property and battled police: This evening in Trafalgar Square, liberals have turned out for a long-planned celebration of Thatcher’s death:

A few hours after Margaret Thatcher´s death on Monday, the snarling deadbeats of the British underclass were gleefully rampaging through the streets of Brixton in South London, scaling the marquee of the local fleapit and hanging a banner announcing, "THE B@&$! Mrs. Thatcher would have enjoyed all this. Her former speechwriter John O´Sullivan recalls how, some years after leaving office, she
