| The chairman and the vice chairman of the State Department Accountability Review Board (ARB) that investigated the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Libya, made dramatically different statements on Wednesday about the duration of those attacks that resulted in the deaths of four Americans. The relevant duration of the event shrunk from "almost eight hours" to "only about 20 or 30 minutes" when a reporter asked this "accountability" team why the U.S. military had not been sent to Benghazi to help that night. During his opening statement at a State Department

Comments: As this onion continues to get its layers peeled, its more than enough to make one cry. No matter how the 0bamaNation tries to obfuscate over his and all other agency knowledge of events in real time, there should have been adequate force to protect Steven's on the ground before, during and when the firefight began. A rescue should have been attempted at the very least. Our subsequent action shows US as weak to the Muslim terrorist.

Did anybody really believe this internal investigation would tell the truth? Don´t think for a minute that Hillary didn´t scrub this thing while "recovering".
They forgot to mention this was an early April Fool´s joke.

Since their constituency is the "low information" voter, they lie with impunity. They don´t care about the voters who are engaged enough factually to understand their lies. We don´t matter since we can´t vote them out. They won.

Does anyone else get the idea that there was someone in DC on the line to the attackers telling them to go back and finish the job? Before the Seals were permitted to leave the annex, the Libyan were called to see if they could help. The security force from within Libya arrived at the airport and began to negotiate with Libyans to go to the embassy. And finally, after the initial assault on the annex, there was an attack 5 hours later. Is this a coincidence?

What wasn´t mentioned was Stevens and how he was missing for at least 4 hrs. The WH and State didn´t know where he was, whether he had been taken hostage. There was time to get help there in that amount of time.

Of the many many self-proclaimed skillsets of the President the most impressive (to himself) was his great empathy and understanding of the Muslim religion. He had a fantasy that he could build some sort of relationship with radical Islam. This attack didn´t fit the narrative so the lies started. Now is there is no path back to the truth that doesn´t land him and many of his minions in some very hot water. Lower level people at the State Dept will be offered up as a sacrifice but those with real accountability will pay no price. It is the way of Washington. Do not doubt it.

Four people dead in a hell hole. For no effin reason.
Everything about North Africa and the Middle East policy has been irreparably effed up.

What about the prisoners being held in the compound for questioning? Paula Broadwell told the story in Colorado. Notice there has been no mention of those boys. This was a rescue mission to release the prisoners. O can´t have a narrative out there that says he went against his word.

My question: Whatt was so important that Ambassador Stevens was in Benghazi on September 11th when we know he was begging for more security prior to that date? Makes no sense. He put himself in the most dangerous city in Lybia on the anniversary of 9/11 just for kicks?

That´s a simple definition of "abomination" as well as "Obamanation," Traitor-in-Chief´s view of America and Americans, and the reason he is free to exercise dictatorial control. Benghazi was swept under the rug because it was in PINO´s interest to do so.

This is on the back burner because they have their gun crisis which cannot be allowed to go to waste, as Rahmbo points out. But, guns were part of the Behgahzi issue. Something about guns from Libya to Syria and Ambass. Stevens, went back into a hot spot to finish up something after he had dinner with the Syrian diplomat. It remains fuzzy and will remain fuzzy as in Whitewater and all the other scandals that Clintons and Obama and the Chicago Connection running the White House control

I caught a few minutes lst night of the Dems on this committee yesterday whining abut how this event has been politicized and that we should focus on the four dead Americans. And then Juan Williams on Fox News said the same thing. But oh wasn´t the Valerie Plame politicized to the nth degree? And how died there?
This government today does not deserve the sacrifice of all of our dead warriors and diplomats buried in our national cememteries at home and overseas.

FTA: The administration apparently determined that reaching out to a Libyan militia and government that had already failed in their duty to protect American diplomats, and then spending "hours" to charter a private plane, was a more efficient way to get reinforcements to Benghazi then to deploy some of what Mullen at Wednesday´s briefing described as the "lot of forces in Europe both at sea and on land."
This is beyond incompetence. It was a deliberate order to stand down and this is the spin to cover this travesty/murder of our personal due to the inability of the "Libyan security forces to protect our embassy(?).
And don´t try pass this off as no implications directly from the White House. That order to stand down came directly from the top/VJ and the Squatter in OUR HOUSE.

So basically #37 you are saying that they are now political prisoners? I think you are right. That poor guy that was blamed for the video is also still in jail.
Judging from Hillary´s face back in Sept when all of the bodies came back, she knows what happened and she also knows that if anyone finds out she will be toast, too. She was greif stricken, but it was for herself. obama looked bad, too, but he seemed to have recovered more quickly.
The military people that know have been threatened with their retirement. It´s going to be hard to crack them, because that is their survial. That is not right, but there it is. It isn´t right to keep those survivors captive until it blows over. We must go after Obama and and the rest of these reprobates in government. We have to keep up the pressure until we get answers that are correct and true. If it is gunrunning then all the more reason to keep on all of Obama´s gun problems. He has more than just Benghazi.

#37, #39- sounds like the nearly 30 government kidnap victims need to be found and freed. Bound to be lots of citizens here in the states that have seen them, wherever they are - assuming they are back home here. Think of the implications - their families have to have been pressured as well to not be kicking up a fuss - unless they didn´t know where they were posted and are still receiving communications from them.

Congress should demand:
That Hillary testify before Congress under oath, so that if she lies they can charge her with perjury.
The right for a small group of (Republican) House Committee Chairmen to conduct closed-door, one-on-one interviews, under oath, of each of the survivors who were rescued from Benghazi. Force the administration to identify them and make them available – no strings attached. Grant each of them full immunity from prosecution for any crime EXCEPT perjury, which eliminates their right to plead the fifth or to have an attorney (or a representative of the administration or State Department) present during the interview.
The President claims that “the minute [he] found out what was happening”, he gave an order to “make sure that we are securing our personnel [in Benghazi] and doing whatever we need to”. Have him identify the person to whom he gave that order and the date and time at which he gave the order. Then subpoena that person to testify to Congress about what actions he took to fulfill that order.

From what I was reading online, totally by accident, something that I came upon was almost a blow by blow real time conversation between people who seemed to be watching everything unfold. I watched and read and though my memory may be of later on in the events, they kept wondering why help did not arrive. Why Stephens was not found by the others who were with him was a puzzle to me. Why it went on so long without help...I don´t know who those two men were who were back and forth, but they said more than once that there were videos from at least one drone, and at least one unknown American was talking by internet connection to someone. Oh, it was probably to those, 400 or so in various levels of command and military offices, who were also watching from the situation room or Pentagon or CIA...but they don´t really know what exactly who knew what or when or where. Sack of rocks wouldn´t believe those lies. But I am just sayin´.

Reading the transcript of the Benghazi investigation sounds like deja vu . A time frame of 30 minutes was available to send help stated the two unkown water carriers for Obama. Benghazi attack was being viewed via robots were being viewed in real time for at least anywhere beteen 5 to 8 hours. Panetta a few days later than 9/11 stated publically that they had no force available and time frame inadequate to help the belegeured defenders at Benghazi. The reason let´s point out again that Obama and his minions insisted ( Hillary Rice Panetta Adm Mullen et al)that the attackers were a mob stirred up by an anti islam movie.Al Quada was not quoted since Obama a few weeks earlier had told the world that El Quada was on the run since ´HE´ had killed OBL.Panetta and the Military elite knew that assistance was at hand at Sicily half hour by jet troop transport at most one hour.Shock troops lowered down into the Consulate Compound to aid the heroes defending the Consulate. What outright incompetance. Hillary wants to be the next prez she is not all there !

I was just thinking - why don´t we as a nation, fast the news! Too often we have considered fasting food to lose weight and become healthy. How about fasting the news, mainly the liberal news, to become healthy-minded! They have not cared for US! They have not reported "exactly" what has happened, even though I am sure they knew!
Political correctness has ruled and ruined this country.
Class warfare has brought more division, knowing we "all" want success and prosperity.
This government is "stealing" from the so-called rich to "give" to the so-called poor, who are "often" unwilling to work for their own personal needs.
We need to boycott or just stop watching/listening/caring about those who have "proved" they don´t care about US, only their liberal agenda, their own jobs.
We don´t have much power left, but we do control our TVs and buying/subscribing to our newspapers,by not turnng them on/not buying into the news they are saying/printing - selling!
We need to hit them in their pocketbook! Wages are where they are at too! I am sure Obama plans to protect them, but we could counter his play.
America is dying and we cannot sit by and allow it to happen!
Also, we need to get down on our knees, knowing God alone is able to "deliver US from evil - here and abroad!
Merry Christmas to everyone. Jesus came to set the captives free - that´s US!

San Francisco & New York - Google Inc said on Tuesday it plans to bring its ultra high-speed Internet and television service to Austin, Texas, next year, prompting AT&T Inc to reveal its own plans to follow suit - if it gets the same terms from local authorities. Bahrain on Tuesday became the first Arab country to blacklist Hizbullah as a terrorist organization, the Al Arabiya network reports. The move came a week after the Bahraini parliament voted to label the group a terrorist organization. Its alleged backing and training of radical Shiite groups against Bahrain was the main reason given for the decision, the report said. The Bahraini cabinet has tasked the interior and foreign ministries with implementing the decision. “The measure is to protect Bahrain’s security and stability from Hezbollah’s threats,” Bahraini MP Adil al-Asoumi told Al Arabiya.

"As far as I know, business people can enter and leave North Korea freely," added the official, who declined to give his name, without making clear which country had ordered the move.

Wyoming Republican Sen. Mike Enzi may be gearing up to run for re-election in 2014, but that doesn’t mean Liz Cheney is ruling out a run for the Senate seat now. A source close to the politically active daughter of Vice President Dick Cheney tells The Daily Caller that she is still seriously considering running. Over the weekend, The Casper Star Tribune reported that Enzi told a meeting of the GOP state party committee that he is looking forward to running for re-election — something he has yet to formally announce. An Enzi spokesman confirmed the senator’s remarks.

North Korea appears to be preparing a fourth underground nuclear weapons test at Punggye-ri, the site of its previous test, a South Korean government source says. Pyongyang appeared to be making preparations for the test, according to a South Korean government source speaking to the country’s Joong Ang Daily newpaper. This comes on the heels of the South’s defence ministry reports that Pyongyang could perform a mid-range missile test-launch by Wednesday – also the deadline it has given to foreign diplomats to evacuate, as their safety would reportedly no longer be guaranteed

Bridgewater, N.J. - Like clockwork, they´re coming back -- after 17 years. "They" would be cicadas, the big, noisy bugs that climb out of the earth about every decade and a half to make everyone´s life more exciting. Experts tell Gannett News Service that the bugs live underground and feed off fluid that gathers near the roots of plants, then emerge from the soil when its temperature reaches 64 degrees. They´re largely harmless, but their sheer numbers can cause headaches. Some areas could see as many as a billion of the cicadas per square mile. That can lead to a lot of dead bugs all over roadways

Caracas - Hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan opposition supporters rallied in a staunchly pro-government part of the capital on Sunday, answering a call by their candidate Henrique Capriles and showing strength a week before the presidential election. "Today the streets of Caracas are full of happiness and hope, confirming what will happen next Sunday," Capriles, the 40-year-old governor of Miranda state, told the crowd. Capriles faces acting President Nicolas Maduro, who has vowed to continue the hard-line socialism of his late boss, Hugo Chavez, if he wins the April 14 election.

Snoop Lion made bold comments about gay marriage and rap music, even addressing singer Frank Ocean´s coming out. Snoop, 41, who has spoken in favor of marriage equality before, was asked by The Guardian if he believed the R&B singer´s declaration of having loved a man meant gay relationships would soon be accepted in the rap community. "Frank Ocean ain´t no rapper," Snoop is quoted as saying. "He´s a singer. It´s acceptable in the singing world, but in the rap world I don´t know if it will ever be acceptable because rap is so masculine."

Decrying the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as way too complex, he warned the acting Medicare director that Obamacare is "so complicated and if it isn´t done right the first time, it will just simply get worse."

The sequester may have many across the country singing the blues, but for President Obama, it was all about Memphis Soul. Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight. The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes. Some conservatives have called on Obama to give up golf, especially since popular public tours of the White House have been canceled because of

In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

Although the first votes on gun -control legislation have yet to be cast, by some measures the National Rifle Association has already won. Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. The NRA claims that the president’s efforts have triggered a fundraising surge and boosted its membership from 4 million to nearly 5 million.

Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius conceded Monday that implementing the Affordable Care Act has been more complicated and frustrating than the Obama administration expected, largely due to Republicans who have opposed the law´s state-based exchanges and Medicaid expansion. "The politics has been relentless and that continues," Sebelius said. "There was some hope that once the Supreme Court ruled in July, and then once an election occurred there would be a sense that, ´This is the law of the land, let´s get on board, let´s make this work.´"

Liberals descended on Pennsylvania Avenue Tuesday to protest President Barack Obama´s decision to include entitlement cuts in his upcoming budget, delivering 2 million petitions demanding the White House back off its support for the chained CPI. As we reported this weekend, liberals have been seething over the inclusion of the chained CPI in Obama´s budget, which they see as a huge betrayal by the Democratic president. This week, progressive groups, including MoveOn, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, and Democracy for America, have mounted "emergency" online campaigns against the proposal, accusing Obama of
