Joe Biden Was Behind
The Robert Bork

Investors Business Daily, by Staff

Law: A quarter of a century ago, a good and great man was slandered to maintain liberal judicial power. It was Vice President Joe Biden, who as a senator, led the injustices committed against Judge Robert Bork. The Wednesday morning death of Bork, Ronald Reagan´s failed 1987 Supreme Court nominee, should make us think how much freer and better this country would be if Bork´s intellectual power and constitutional integrity had been present within the justices´ deliberations over the past 25 years. Had Reagan nominated Bork to replace retiring Chief Justice Warren Burger in 1986, when Republicans

On a day Biden should hang his head in shame for what he did to Robert Bork, there he proudly stood with Obama, taking on the 2nd Amendment.

Biden was charged with plagiarism in law school.
He lied about the circumstances of his late wife´s death and falsely accused a truck driver of being drunk.
He and his drunken murderer friend Ted Kennedy defamed Bork.
May he join his friend Ted in Hades.

I have such a clear recollection of a particular part of the Bork hearings when Bork just finished answering a question. The response took several minutes after which Ted Kennedy said to Bork that he will summarize what Bork said. When he finished Ted asked Bork if that summary reflected what Bork had said to which Bork repiled no senator I meant just the opposite of what you said. Nuff said.

The Bork and Thomas hearings were shameful and disgusting.

It was Joe that said he believed life begins at conception then put his stamp of approval on the killing of that life claiming he didn´t want to force his "religion" on anyone.

He took an oath to uphold the Constitution that protects every American life, yet reneges when it comes to unborn children.

Now he´s commissioned to attack guns and gun ownership and expected to do so responsibly?

Men like Joe have NO character, they blow in the wind, embrace no values or moral standards and the only thing that means anything to them is themselves. Joe is just a drunken pompous ass and holds no loyalty to anything but their own desires and what they perceive to be best for them.

Can anyone expect anything more from him than lies and criticism of everyone that disagrees with him?

The man is worse than useless, he is a menace to society and anything good and worthwhile. What a waste of a human body.

BRUSSELS — President Barack Obama said Wednesday that Vladimir Putin is just the latest in a series of history’s losers, comparing the Russian leader to those who came up short in World War I, World War II, the Cold War, the U.S. civil rights movement, apartheid and other major 20th-century struggles. Time’s on his side, Obama argued. People always struggle to be free and eventually succeed — and they will in Russia too, even if, for now, it’s ruled by a flouter of international law and obstinate believer in “that recycled maxim that might, somehow, makes right.” Putin — who waited six

ROME — President Barack Obama was once the biggest superstar on the international stage. On Thursday, he heads to the Vatican to benefit from the popularity of his replacement: Pope Francis. The visit is a rare chance for Obama to associate himself with a world leader whose cool factor far outweighs his own, and it comes at a critical time in his presidency. The White House is still recovering from what aides call a “lost year,” and the president’s job approval ratings at home are dipping to new lows. A Navy F-18 fighter pilot and former Top Gun instructor is publicly warning admirals that retention is beginning to suffer from the military’s relentless social conditioning programs. Cmdr. Guy Snodgrass, until recently a Pentagon speech writer for the chief of naval operations, Adm. Jonathan Greenert, said sailors are becoming fed-up with the constant emphasis on social issues — an apparent reference to gays in the military, women in combat and ending sexual harassment. “Sailors continue to cite the over-focus on social issues by senior leadership, above and beyond discussions on war fighting — a fact that demoralizes junior and mid-grade officers alike,”

One by one, the myths of the Affordable Care Act have been revealed. When the curtain on open enrollment falls on March 31, the last remaining big myth of ObamaCare will be fully exposed: The individual mandate has failed. After a last-ditch effort with President Obama himself encouraging "young invincibles" to sign up before the deadline, the administration is scrambling to boost enrollment. On Tuesday, the White House announced that people who applied for coverage on the federal health-insurance exchange will have until mid-April to finish the paperwork. The mandate was supposed to be the administration´s magical elixir for the assorted shortcomings

Meanwhile, the world watches, stupefied, as Russian ships move to our doorstep. Trash-talking a nation that just swallowed up a chunk of its neighbor and upended the global order doesn´t seem like a very thoughtful strategy, given the weakness of U.S. sanctions following Russia´s annexation of Ukraine´s Crimea. But that was what President Obama seemed to be doing Tuesday in claiming Russia was nothing but small fry in world affairs. Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld has said that ´a trained ape´ could do a better job managing American interests in Afghanistan than President Obama. A pair of potentially catastrophic cases will be argued before the Supreme Court on Tuesday. These cases are brought by privately held, for-profit corporations that are arguing their religious convictions should preclude them from offering employees the health insurance required by law. Specifically, these private employers don’t want to allow their employees’ insurance to cover some forms of birth control because, contrary to medicaland scientific evidence, they believe some birth control causes abortions. Corporations are not people. Corporations cannot have religious views. If religious rights are extended to corporations, it puts us on a slippery slope where any private company

Apparently, it had nothing to do with the well-documented failings of the website that have embarrassed the White House for months. “We have hundreds of thousands of people who tried to sign up who didn’t get through,” he said.
