I left the democrats during the Cartr Administration when I realized I was in the wrong party.

John Boehner and other wuss rinos wring their hands over this. They have the vapors.

It is the democrats that have spent and spent. These rinos go along with it. the only thing they are worried about is how they look. Not the damage it does to people and this country.

I was phoned by the RNC looking for some $ on Friday, Monday, and today. I asked each time if John Boehner was still speaker, "they" replied "of course." I´ve informed them each time, call me back when he is voted out and replaced by a True Conservative. I think today they FINALLY got my message....

I really don´t care if this tax hike goes through as long as he gets spending cuts--- real, irreversible, meaningful spending cuts. If he can´t get cuts, he should walk away.

I am not sure about the merits, but raising taxes without a budget at all is unsound. No increase in debt limit until a budget.
Republicans also seem too quick to shoot the survivors and bury the wounded.

Three years without a budget. No money until you pass a budget, no raise of the debt ceiling no nothing. But no one has the nuts to say this. Fire the lot of ´em.

Boehner is such a dolt. He has to be replaced. Most of us have no problem with raising taxes, but we cannot accept this without a spending reduction. Why can´t Boehner understand this. Boehner has to go.

Boehner, like all DC politicians, is so brainwashed by all his years in Washington, his only thought is getting through `the process`. That is what is important to him.

First, Boehner should let all the rates expire. Return to the Clinton era of tax rates, then cut all spending to same Clinton era levels.

I think democrats need the republicans to save the 98% because they´d be increasing that margin to around 90%, and then taking the blame for increasing large sections of tax-payers.


No extensions on debt ceiling either. It´s you´re only leverage.

No, Mr/Ms ´Anonymous conservative House member´, America is in a tough spot. The speaker isn´t representing his constituents very well at all, and needs to be replaced.
Unless you´re implying he is being blackmailed to prevent him from doing what is necessary. Then he needs to resign and let someone who is free to do what is constitutional, what is right for America, assume the house speaker´s position.

Betcha Boehner pays MSRP for everything, even in this recession. We need a new speaker.

It´s ludicrous, no budget for nearly 4 years, astronomical debt and rising, not a word about cutting spending just ploys to gouge more out of Joe Six Pack. Fie to all of them in Washington DC -the new party is being born to sweep this lot out once and for all.

I contacted my GOP Rep this morning to tell him to vote no deal, let us go over the cliff. Can you think of a worse person than John Boehner to be leader of the GOP at a time such as this? He is a joke. I wish he would just declare himself a Dem because that is who he sides with.

If they are gonna vote like Democrats, then we might as well vote for Democrats.

Boehner is completely underestimating how he is about to give the Dems back the House in 2014 for acting just like them.

Our elected officials need to be sent home for good.

We found out what kind of "patriots" Ryan, McCarthy and Cantor turned out to be. Stand behind the feckless Speaker no matter how he messes up. Very good. Every one of these guys are interested in their OWN careers, not the country, the debt or the voters who put them in office.
