The rise of the
internet anti-fan

Telegraph [UK], by Tom Chivers

Original Article

In the old days, there were fans. They listened to albums, read books, went to films. Every so often one of them went mad and started stalking the object of their devotion, or got a tattoo of their face on their face, or shot them in a hotel corridor while holding a copy of The Catcher in the Rye.[Snip] But in the last few years, we have seen the rise of the anti-fan. They are everywhere. They hate the person they´re reading or listening to, but can´t seem to stop. They obsessively hang around on the YouTube channels or blogs

Te culture of hate in this country is really poisoning the atmospherics of being an American. I can´t believe the widespread development of haters who pounce on everything to voice their displeasure. A lot of it is fame seekers trying to find the niche of being the most effective hater.Hollywood finally makes a realistic movie about the CIA but it possibly sheds a bad light on Obama,so it´s quickly denounced by leftist film critics.

The NRA has to close their office and shut their facebook and twitter accounts down due to death threats. We all know about the union bullies in Mich. who apparently haven´t been prosecuted for assault.Gov. Snyder´s daughter will be stalked by these creeps and the unionized state police don´t seem to care.

The centerpiece of the hate driven country is Obama who´s worshipers do everything they can to build firewalls around their sainted leader.Obama is the crux of poison in this country on race, wealth, business and the constitution.

I´ve noticed the hateful postings on YouTube and just wondered why, if someone didn´t like it, they just moved on to something they liked. But that´s thinking like what I would do and I seem to forget some people are not like me. I much more enjoyed our kinder, gentler times.

New US drone strikes reportedly killed seven alleged al-Qaida members in southern Yemen on Wednesday after the government in Sana´a claimed to have foiled a large-scale terrorist attack and the US and Britain evacuated their embassy staff. Security officials told the Associated Press (AP) the latest drone attacks hit targets in Shabwa province, where residents reported seeing two vehicles and several bodies on fire. The news came as details emerged in the capital of an ambitious plan by the group al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), a "franchise" of the global terrorist network, to attack installations and towns.

Hope, a three-week-old Shih Tzu, was rejected by her natural mother, Diamond, after being born alongside a stillborn sibling. But the puppy has found a new mum in feline Coco - who gave birth to a litter of three kittens on the same day as Hope was born. Loving Coco treats Hope like one of her own - and even feeds her. Coco´s owner Paula Ball, of Liverpool, persuaded partner David Cohen, who owns Diamond, to introduce the pair. ´I suggested it because there was no other option - the puppy wouldn´t have survived otherwise,´ she said.

When we look for the ideal holiday destination, one of the most important factors must surely be what sort of welcome we are likely to receive from the locals. So travellers will be delighted by a new list which ranks the friendliest cities in the world--as well as naming and shaming the least friendly. It turns out that the most welcoming places are in famously chilled-out countries such as Brazil, Australia and the mountain kingdom of Bhutan. By contrast, the U.S. dominated the list of the least friendly cities, along with Africa and the Middle East, with Newark, New Jersey

The Obama administration has been accused of behaving ´like a bunch of cowards´ after 19 embassies were closed in the wake of the Al Qaeda terror alert. Louis Gohmert, a Republican congressman from Texas, recalled the September 11, 2012 terror attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Clinton famously suggested in a Senate hearing that it was largely irrelevant whether the attack was the result of a terrorist plot or--as the administration initially claimed--an outgrowth of a spontaneous anti-U.S. protest. SPARTANBURG, S.C. - State Sen. Lee Bright has brought his campaign website online as he considers a Republican primary challenge against U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham next year. The website asks people to sign up for Bright’s newsletter, promising to send them a video announcement the moment he decides to run against Graham. It includes the slogan: “Bright. For Liberty. For Senate.” The Roebuck lawmaker says he is waiting to see how the field shapes up before making his formal announcement. Bright was elected to the Senate in 2008. Whatever plot the US eavesdroppers overheard the top two al-Qaeda leaders discussing clearly rattled the US intelligence community so badly that Washington shut 19 of its diplomatic missions around the Middle East, Asia and Africa. In the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, where the threat of attack is considered greatest, the UK, France and Germany have also shut their embassies. The British embassy has emptied completely, with all remaining British staff leaving the country on Tuesday, while the US air force flew out American personnel. So just what is it about al-Qaeda´s branch in Yemen that triggers such warning bells in Washington?

Clinton led with 49 percent in the hypothetical match-up, with Palin at 40 percent, a nine-point gap. As of July 3, Republicans comprised 27 percent of the state´s registered voters and Democrats made up just 14 percent. WASHINGTON — U.S. officials insisted Tuesday that extraordinary security measures for nearly two dozen diplomatic posts were to thwart an “immediate, specific threat,” a claim questioned by counterterrorism experts, who note that the alert covers an incongruous set of nations from the Middle East to an island off the southern coast of Africa. Analysts don’t dispute the Obama administration’s narrative that it’s gleaned intelligence on a plot involving al Qaida’s most active affiliate, the Yemen-based Arabian Peninsula branch. That would explain why most U.S. posts in the Persian Gulf are on lockdown, including the U.
