The Left Won´t Allow
Facts to Get in the
Way of Their Agenda

RUSH: The deadliest school attack in this country -- deadliest school attack in American history -- was in 1927. That was the Bath School murders. Thirty-eight children and seven adults were killed, including the killer himself. Oh. He didn´t use guns. He used dynamite. That´s right. No guns were used in the deadliest school attack in American history. But some people would say, "Well, wait a minute, Rush. What about Waco? Waco holds the record." Yeah, that wasn´t technically a school. But at Waco, 74 men, women, and children died (including 12 children under the age of five).

Comments:
The Conservative talkers out there debating the Brain Dead Godless Humanist Progressive/Liberal DemocRats on the 2nd Amendment should call out the opposition by challenging them to introduce legislation to rescind in it´s entirety the 2nd Amendment. Then use the talking point that the DemocRats want to dismantle our Bill of Rights.

Any mental health professional that delusional people focus on a specific type of weapon - it isn´t a multiple-choice problem. A person doesn´t say, "Should I kill myself by overdose or with a knife? Hanging, or a gun?" Typically the person has an ideation - a way he/she sees the event playing out in his mind. Change the method and you change the ideation.

Guys are more likely to have gun ideations than gals. Make it difficult for the people who have psychotic episodes to get hold of a gun - and you just interrupted the ideation.

I´m glad Rush is drawing attention to the 1927 school massacre in Bath, Michigan.

Just a minor technical correction:
The murderer, Andrew Kehoe, did not use any guns to shoot people during his murderous rampage.

However, Kehoe did fire a gun to detonate dynamite he had packed into his vehicle (thereby blowing up himself + several rescuers who had gathered at the scene of the school Kehoe had just bombed).

I don´t completely agree #2. If a person has killing on the mind, he will do it even if his weapon of choice is unavailable. Sure, some killers want scenarios to play out a certian way, but they often will do whatever it takes to create the carnage they so desire no matter what--especially, if the purpose is to gain notariety.

How many people have been killed by arson? Item: A Glendale man who police said has admitted setting the fire that killed his wife and six children.
Item: Arsonist gets death penalty for murders of 5 firefighters.
Item: A volunteer firefighter prosecutors say set fire to his neighbor´s house, killing a mother and three of her children inside, has been indicted on multiple murder and arson charges.
I could go on, but don´t have the time or space. But where is the outcry whenever something like these stories happen? Let´s ban matches and lighters? Flint and steel? Enough, already.

We can talk here as tough as we want. But there are two things stopping these anti-gun fanatics from getting their way:

1) A very undependable and very small conservative majority on the SCOTUS, and

2) A very undependable majority of Republicans in the House of Representatives.

The same idiots that voted to re-elect the worst president in the history of this nation are going to be screaming for big government to protect their children from those ´´evil guns´´.

We already know that removing guns from the general population is one of NØbama´s highest goals, and he sure isn´t going to let the murders of 20 kindergarted kids go to waste in fullfilling his socialist legacy. And I honestly don´t trust either the SCOTUS or the Republicans in the House to actually stand up for the Constitution this time...

A list of rappers and stars, including Russell Simmons, LL Cool J, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Kim Kardashian, and many more, have written an open letter to President Obama to ask that he ease the nation´s drug policy. They also ask that prison policy be changed, too. "During your presidency you have made important steps and you now have the opportunity to leave a legacy by transforming our criminal justice system to an intervention and rehabilitation based model. Many of those impacted by the prison industrial complex are among your most loyal constituents," they write. "Your

The trial details are nothing short of sensational: A doctor accused of killing seven newborns and a young woman at a filthy Philadelphia clinic strewn with body parts and described as a “slaughterhouse.” It’s big news in Philadelphia, but nationally, not so much. The lack of coverage is a problem for a growing chorus of conservative and media critics, who allege that the scant national media attention can be attributed not to the courtroom drama but the politics of abortion. Dr. Kermit Gosnell was an abortionist, meaning that any coverage of the trial risks painting

Harry Reid announced today that there will likely be a gun vote on Thursday. "Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) likely has the votes on gun control legislation to clear its first procedural hurdle -- a victory for the gun control community, though one that hardly guarantees the bill´s passage," reports the Huffington Post. "The majority leader announced on Tuesday evening he would submit for a vote the bill to expand background checks, implement a federal trafficking statute, and enhance school safety measures. That would set up a Senate vote on Thursday." The Huffington Post suggests Reid has the support he needs:

So if a bunch of activists want to create the concept of "gay infertility" and then tax all the rest of us to compensate them for the fact that they can´t have babies, then that´s gonna happen. They´re accustomed to whatever´s happening in the country not attaching itself to Obama. The guys at CBS News have a sense of humor. The Web headline on their story about President Obama´s antigun speech yesterday in Hartford, Conn., reads: "Obama on Gun Debate: ´This Isn´t About Me.´ " That reminded someone on Twitter of the same network´s headline from July 20, 2009: "Obama on Health Care: ´This Isn´t About Me.´ " Try to imagine how soul-ravishingly tedious an Obama speech would be if it were about him. We dare you. Obama´s speech, at once demagogic and pathetic, reminded us of Mayor Michael Nutter´s efforts to censor a different kind of magazine,

WASHINGTON — Several Senate Republicans on Tuesday came out publicly against filibustering the first major gun control legislation since 1993 before it is even brought up for debate on the Senate floor, as advocates inched toward breaking a conservative blockade of the measure. With backers of new gun safety laws increasingly optimistic that they can corral the 60 votes necessary to begin consideration of the measure, Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, said he would schedule a showdown vote for Thursday. His comments came as lobbying on gun control stepped up on Capitol Hill,

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”
