Teacher threw herself in
front of blazing pistol

Daily Express [UK], by Paul Thompson, Stuart Winter

Original Article

They were two young women teachers who had devoted their lives to the children whose laughter rang out in their classrooms.[Snip] Vicki Soto, 27, threw herself in front of gunman Adam Lanza’s blazing Glock pistol, taking the hail of bullets that would have killed so many of the five-year-olds who called her “Miss” and laughed at the way she chewed gum in class. In a school toilet yards away, her colleague Kaitlin Roig, 29, was hiding with her 15 pupils. She knew their only chance of surviving was to keep silent as the killer stalked the corridors of Sandy Hook

Brave and responsible people, who in some cases sacrificed their own lives to save young children, are forced to cower in toilet stalls rather than provided with the means to defend themselves and others.

We all know that bias drives much of what the media reports as news. This terrible story, however, exposes their utter incompetance. It is easy to understand the confusion in the early hours, but they ought to be able to line up fundamental facts by now. This particular article proclaims that none of the children in Vickie Soto´s class were harmed. That conflicts with other accounts reporting that 6 kids in her class were killed. The source of the ´fact´ in this article that none of the kids in her class were harmed was a post by one of Vickie Soto´s friends. Irresponsible, lazy ´journalism´.

As I grew up I was taught the difference between right and wrong and good and evil. These lessons were taught at home, in school and in church. They were first taught then reinforced using the basic tool of the 10 Commandments and many other lessons from the Bible as well as various religious teachings. Naturally, these lessons leaked over into society at large. In my case Catholic School played a large role. I have always known these teachings were of great importance but just how important was tragically demonstrated in Connecticut.

For most of today´s generations this basic formula for living that served us so well is no longer taught or even discussed in our Government Schools. Instead, our children, who no longer attend Church or Sunday School, are taught the politically correct lessons of moral equivalence, that one person or one civilization is no better than another - any other.

We step over human beings starving to death on the streets of major cities. We refuse to allow Nativity scenes in public places at Christmas. It´s no wonder we have arrived at this horrible place. What did we expect?

Heroes aren´t on the make believe silver screen icons of the fantasy world. Heroes are ordinary people who in a moment of insanity find the clarity of mind to disregard their own safety for that of their fellow human beings. These teachers and administrators are heroes of the first magnitude and should be recognized as such throughout our nation. God bless their souls and the families they left behind.

The politically correct way for this teacher to have handled the situation would be for her to plead to the maniac´s sense of humanity and plead for her life and the lives of the children, thus getting them all killed. As the US and China grow increasingly involved, Kim Jong-un must be brought into line if war is not to be triggered by an act of recklessness. There are two schools of thought about what lies behind North Korea’s increasingly frenzied posturing. The first goes like this: the rhetoric emanating from Pyongyang--including calls to “break the waists of the crazy enemies [and] totally cut their windpipes”--is no worse than their decades-old ritualistic promises to turn South Korea into a “sea of fire”.
