Mentally disabled gunman,
20, killed teacher mom at
home before driving to
elementary school in her car
and shooting TWENTY SIX
dead including 20 children

Daily Mail (UK), by Rachel Quigley

The gunman who today slaughtered 26 people including 20 children used his teacher mother´s own guns to shoot students in her kindergarten class during his horrific killing spree at a Connecticut elementary school, it was revealed tonight. Adam Lanza, 20, was carrying a .223 rifle and two handguns when he entered the Sandy Hook Elementary school shortly after 9.30am and started gunning people down - after he had killed his mother Nancy, 52, at her nearby home. Witnesses say he was going from room-to-room shooting people after first killing the principal and psychologist execution style.

I´ll only mention this once.

Do a Google image search for Adam Lanza.

Note the image named Adam Lanza Fayad.

This was not the raging of some 20 year old punk ...

... this was either twisted jihad or an honor killing.

Apparently the two pistols were legally owned by the shooter´s mother. I´m not sure what to say about that. Should the parents of mentally ill children be forbidden from owning guns? Should they simply either not have guns or know to keep them safely locked up? If the shooter stole them from his mother then they weren´t sold to him, so his mental state wouldn´t have come under scrutiny at a gun shop. I don´t know the answer except not only to make mental care free but mandatory and lock up anyone who won´t take their meds or whom they don´t seem to help. But no, the libs closed the mental hospitals 40 years ago. Free mental health care is worthless if the person won´t use it.

I know this is going to turn into a GUN debate, but it should turn into a debate about mental illness, fraudulent diagnosis and the prescription of harmful drugs that are prescribed by the fistful to the young men (and women), but mostly young men, of America.

My goodness, there are errors in this article. The mother Nancy and father Peter were separated and he was already engaged to marry someone else. He does not live in Newtown, but lives in Stamford, CT.

And father Peter is not dead. Police have been interviewing him.

Shooter Adam killed his mother in her home, where he lived, before he took her car and drove to the school.

The confusion about his identity is believed to have been caused by material on the shooter that identified him as "Ryan Lanza".

The first few hours the reporting is all over the map.

I wanna know what medication´s and what government sponsored program ( Like James Holmes the Aurora,Colorado shooter ) that the Murderer Adam Lanza was on? That´s right,i am going there. This was NO coincidence! Obama already has wasted no time in politicizing this by calling for "Meaningful Action". We are fighting a satanic evil in Washington and they won´t stop at anything,as evidenced by "Fast and Furious", which resulted in the Murder of more than 300 mexican citizens and 2 American Border Patrol Agents all to take away our God Given Second Ammendment Right´s. Obama and the complicit repubs, want to have an Assault Weapons Ban in order to leave us defenseless to their Tyranny. Do not surrender any Firearms or any magazines or even one single round when they move to use this Horrific event as an excuse to take away our Firearms!

Yes, this is a mental health issue and not a gun issue.

But removing guns altogether is on the liberals agenda so they will all be talking about the evil of gun ownership.

My sympathies with the families of the victims. The pure h-ll they will be enduring over the next few decades (yes, I said decades) is something I would not wish upon the worst criminal America has produced much less innocent families.

Our mental health system is front loaded with rookie kids straight out of college, most of whom had no coursework in counseling. In addition, the privacy laws restraining the providers are cumbersome and tilted completely in favor of the patient.
It is almost impossible to have a patient involuntarily hospitalized for the 72 hour evaluation allowed under the law in most states.

Re the mother having guns, have a look at the aerial of her home (and note that reports are that her former husband Peter now lives in Stamford and is alive) - her having guns is understandable, for her own protection.

I believe I read that Adam "sometimes" lived with her. And that he was autistic, maybe having Asperger´s.

My guess, Adam had some mommy issues and mommy probably adored the kids in her class, and Adam was jealous (due to his mental issues) ? He was clearly trying to punish her for something, whether or not she knew it (maybe he told her his plan before he killed her?) . How sad for all. I don´t know where you go from here, if you are involved in this tragedy.

Information on Asperger´s Sydrome:

What Is the Outlook for People With Asperger´s Syndrome?

Children with Asperger´s syndrome are at risk for developing other conditions, such as depression, ADHD, schizophrenia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. But, there are various treatment options available for these conditions.

Because the level of intelligence often is average or higher than average, many people with Asperger´s syndrome are able to function very well. They may, however, continue to have problems socializing with others through adulthood.

http://www.webmd.com/brain/autism/mental-health-aspergers-syndrome

In today´s PC world, it is lumped into a category "Developmental Disability", which is rather odd in that is is believed to be inherited.

The Obama administration is extending the agency review period for the Keystone XL oil sands pipeline, potentially delaying the decision until after the November elections -- sparing President Obama a tough political decision in the process. A senior State Department official said agencies have stopped crafting comments because a Nebraska Supreme Court decision could change the pipeline route and, ultimately, the environmental, socioeconomic and cultural factors that went into the environmental review. The official did not directly answer a question whether an altered pipeline route would require a new environmental review.
