Too bad there´s no such thing as a death blow to climate change because there´s too much money in it for for institutional leftists around the world. The UN says it needs a $100 billion to fight the effects of climate change. How about getting rid of ethanol to produce more food instead?
Teachers wouldn´t have anything to teach about if climate change was wiped off the map..I mean kids aren´t learning math,science,reading or history but they could get a masters degree in climate change.
Kids are learning to hate farm animals because they belch and fart,destroying the atmosphere.Putting meat in school lunches will increase the demand for farm animal production and that has to have militant vegans chewing their fingers off.
The left refuses to believe the sun is the earth´s boss when it comes to weather and climate.Of course this excludes Halliburton causing Katrina.

It was never about "saving the planet". It was always about imposing socialism. Just like "helping people" and "fairness" are about imposing socialism. That´s OK - they have poisoned a generation or 2 into believing the quackery. I just caught a bit of ´science´ TV where an earnest young man in a parka was talking about a ´feed back loop´ that would melt the arctic ice. The thing is that Dr. Ferenc Miskolczi who used to work for NASA, debunked the ´feed back loop´ story nearly 10 years ago. The ´loop´ was showing up in the computer models because they used the value ´infinity´ for depth of atmosphere in the standard greenhouse equation. Miskolczi had spent decades working in "spectral radiative-transfer analysis" i.e. measuring the optical depth of the global atmosphere. Read up on his work it is fascinating.

The IPCC ought to have cited Willie Soon, maybe the most famous of the sun-climate investigators, but I guess (climategate memos) they hate him too much. So they´re trying to pick whom to credential for what is now an unavoidably important topic. It was Sallie Baliunas at Harvard who first raised this and after Baliunas it was Willie Soon, for which IPCC hates him. All others ought to give credit where it´s due. If they don´t cite Willie they are Not Quite Honest.

The very first gathering of scientists concluded that:
1) There was very small (less than 1 degree C) rise in temperature over 100 years but that increase was barely statistically significant.
2) There was no statistically significant correlation between this temperature rise and the activity of man.
The second conclusion was changed when the politicians got involved. Expect the same to happen this time.

So, it´s business as usual for the great Climate Change Ponzi scheme.
I recall, years ago, seeing a graph made from information in either very old tree rings or ice cores that went back millennia.
The carbon dioxide levels lagged behind (not caused) the temperature levels all along the chart.

It would appear that by far, most people get that this is and has been a hoax and that this is just a way to raise and redistribute income to meet socialist goals.
The real question is why do good and decent people allow it to happen?
