He´s a punk thug like his father. Apple and tree distance, etc.. I am positive that the MSM will allow this fine couple to "put this behind them" by eliminating any reference to it in any coverage.
Moran´s a criminal just like his son.

Well, Moran said his son was sorry and embarrassed by the voter fraud thing (and in the local interview, practically tousled his hair and punched him affectionately on the chin). And the congressman said that the son and the girlfriend are both "good kids" so I guess there´s nothing to see.
Moran is my congressman. I expect sympathy from L-Dotters. If he´s not the worst of all of them, he´s in the top (bottom) 10.

Strange that none of these articles mentions that this knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing troglodyte was 6´5" and 290 when he was Yale´s Defensive Lineman of the Year. Recent pictures don´t indicate that he´s lost any of that height or weight since those days. Every time one of my fellow prior-service Leathernecks breaks the law, journalists always cry, "Ex-Marine!" this or that. Don´t get me wrong - no man, regardless of size, should ever raise his hand to a woman. (Unless, of course, the woman in question happens to be Jane Fonda.)

"I hope their privacy will be respected," Congressman Moran told the paper. "They look forward to putting this embarrassing situation behind them."
"Embarrassing" is coming out of the men´s room with your zipper at half-mast. Breaking someone´s eye-socket and nose is outside the "embarrassment" Venn Diagram Circle. Sorry.
And if you want privacy, don´t do what these mutts, pere and fils, have done. Criminal behavior forfeits privacy.
Let´s take a long, close look at his history when deciding the sentence, ´K, Judgie?
And, Rep. Moran? Nice job rearing the kid. Nice job.

Nice - voter fraud AND woman-beating. Two of the few things I consider lower than whale-dung.
And, I don´t have a whole helluva lot of sympathy for the kind of stupid voter who elects Jim Moran, or the kind of stupid woman who elects to be with his son, but I suppose I wish better for them both.
And what is it with some ladies? I find it hard enough to believe when they go with a powerful bad-guy, but I kind of understand the attraction from a biological standpoint, at least.
But the idiot wastrel son of a powerful man? C´mon, really girls? Y´all can do better than that... this kid is like the character Bernard from "Things to Do in Denver When You´re Dead."

The letter from the group, “Special Operations Speaks,” supports the appointment of a special committee tasked with the single mission of investigating the attack that left Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead, and shut down the CIA operation in an annex of the Benghazi consulate, in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack. “Congress must show some leadership and provide answers to the public

New York -Lawmakers in the US state have overwhelmingly passed a bill allowing locals to salvage meat from the carcasses of wild animals killed in road accidents. When signed into law by the governor, Montana could become "the ultimate drive-through destination for adventurous foodies", the website Huffington Post noted. Steve Lavin, the legislator who introduced the bill, said that the idea came to him as he drove the open highways of the predominantly rural state and started to count the carcasses lining the road. President Obama lives at a time when there are two very different and very well-defined political ideologies. On the one hand, the GOP is fighting for spending contraints, limited regulation, and more personal economic choice. President Obama and his party are more determined than any administration in U.S. history to promote and execute the idea that federal government is best suited to both meet the needs of the people and run the economy. The most fascinating aspect of this yin and yang pull of ideologies is not just that they are taking place at this time in history,

WASHINGTON— President Barack Obama supports requiring girls younger than 17 to see a doctor before buying the morning-after pill. But fighting that battle in court comes with its own set of risks. A federal judge in New York on Friday ordered the Food and Drug Administration to lift age restrictions on the sale of emergency contraception, ending the requirement that buyers show proof they’re 17 or older if they want to buy it without a prescription. The ruling accused the Obama administration in no uncertain terms of letting the president’s pending re-election cloud its judgment when it

Projecting madly, the White House on Sunday pushed the notion that Republican intransigence is the reason that Democrats have been unable to pass a budget during President Obama’s tenure. “Right now,” said senior White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer on Fox News Sunday, “the approach of many Republicans, particularly the leadership in the House, is my way or the highway.” This is certainly rich coming from an administration that has failed to garner a single “yes” vote on its budget proposals for the past several years, even from members of its own party. No doubt there are parents who have frank, frequent, open and easy discussions with their teens about sex. I’ve never met any. I do know parents, however, who were stunned to find their 15-year-old’s birth control pills in her pocketbook. Or who came home early to discover junior and a girl they’d never met frantically buttoning up. Or who found out — when their children were grown — what really went on when Meghan said she was sleeping over at Ashley’s. Such sobering tales of teens snookering mom and dad caused mixed emotions in me — a solidly pro-choice

Last fall, Ginnette Powell traveled from her home in Boston´s Dorchester section to her old middle school in South Boston - a journey of just two miles, but one that covered a huge emotional distance. Finally, she was able to leave the painful past behind. Powell endured the explosive battle over desegregation in Boston in the 1970s. Tears come to her eyes when she talks about how it took her decades to return to the place where she never felt safe as an African-American seventh-grader."It was scary because of what you were going into, getting bricks thrown at your bus.

A few years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Lindalyn Adams was escorting visitors on a bus traveling down Elm Street near Dealey Plaza. “I was pointing out the John Neely Bryan cabin and the Old Red Courthouse, and suddenly I realized the whole bus was leaning towards the right as we were going close to the Texas School Book Depository, and the women [were] pointing and saying, “Is that? Is that? Is that?’” Adams recalled during an oral history interview. She knew, of course, what “that” meant. “That” was where Kennedy had been shot.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.

Newtown killer Adam Lanza may have launched his murder spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School as an “act of revenge,” the Daily News has learned. A close friend of Lanza’s mother told The News that the troubled boy was a target of relentless bullying when he attended the Connecticut school years ago. “I think Adam felt betrayed by the school and this was his act of revenge,” said Marvin LaFontaine, a friend of Nancy Lanza’s. “Nancy told me he was being picked on at school. That they were just torturing him.” Source and text corrected by Staff.
